Most guards go incognito when they do villainous things, and often wear armor. We cannot meta knowledge of them being corrupt. []

As of now, the gate house doesn't have locks, due to the fact that the city is still in construction and workers sometimes need to access the walls. They will be locked once the walls are done.

so after numerous killings in yer moat it strikes me odd that more has not been done.

This does not change the other reports of crimes commited by the crown.

As a former "defender" of Renatus, including my guild, I can say that this statement from the black-robed man is true. I know they all want to kill me, due to some... Revolts i was in earlier. They are all corrupt, no doubt. I hope you citizens come to your senses and save yourself from the the dark force, dwelling in the deepest pit of this so called "society". Come to a kingdom with real promises, such as Salvus.
