*A crowd of many gathers at the site of the soon to be built capital, Reynard is seen reading from a book at the top of the steps. As the crowd begins to settle he waves his hands in a sign for the crowd to quiet down for a moment. He clears his throat and closes the book.*

People of Renatus, Visitors, Residents, and My fellows. . .

*He pauses*

On this day , the 3rd day of the Deep Cold, eight years after the destruction of our Homeland, our King, Eze'kiel of the Royal House Tarus, he has left our nation to give us peace in this time of turmoil and war. He, already having named me as heir unless James returns, has named me Reagent of our nation.

*He lets them consider what this may mean*

I, under previous discussion and much work with my fellow ministers and the king before he left, rename our nation, we are now the Empire of Renatus. This will change our nation. . . and I hope for the better.

This means the return of many things such as the council and a change of our military. We shall become a great nation, but I need your help.

We must build together, our nation, our government, our land must be united for this moment so that we be strong.

*Bows his head*

I ask that today we remember the struggle we have had for independence, that we remember our brothers in our fellow nations, I ask for peace this day.

*looks up again at the crowd*

Today we are reborn, truly again as a nation under the Phoenix, I ask that here and now we join together to prove our worth as sons and daughters of the four brothers!

Josef stands off to the side, not hiding but not out in the open. He has parchment and a quill, recording the speech. His face is blank, showing neither delight nor sorrow at the announcement... until one moment, when a brief look appears, unnoticed by anyone. He thinks to himself 'Eze'kiel was a good king, but war ran in his veins. We need peace more than anything, before we are crushed by our enemies. Hopefully this new rule will get us new friends, and quiet our enemies'
