[COMPLETED] Asulon Novella Competition

Greetings, Asulonians!

As you may or may not know, I love reading, and writing. You may have seen some of my walls of texts dotted around the forums - and probably have not read them (I wouldn't have either ;) ).

But anyway. Here's the challenge. Write me a short story. It can be anything, as long as it's tied at least loosely to Lord of the Craft. However, that's not very restrictive- you could be very creative in how you tie the lore in. It's up to you!

But here's the catch.

It has to have a twist at the end. The better you catch the Judges off guard, the more marks you get!

Deadline:

20th February, 2012. That's ten days!

RULES:

• The Novel must have a minimum of 300 words.

• Spelling is not important! Don't be discouraged if you feel you're spelling isn't the best around.

• You must be able to accept the prize within a week of the 20th of February.

Now, the bit you all love... Prizes!



First Prize:

• Custom title of your choice - "Scholar" is the default one if you can't choose.
• 1500 minas
• Publication of your Novella in a new website section.
• VIP25

Second Prize

• Custom forum title; "Apprentice Scholar"
• 1000 minas
• Publication of your Novella on the site.
• VIP10

Third Prize

• Custom forum title; "Novice Scholar"
• 750 minas
• Publication of your Novella on the site.
• VIP

Story with the most creative tie-in to the LoTC Lore

• 1000 minas.

Consolation Prize:

• 250 minas
• Some edible stuff...?

Footnote: If you are interested, domainoft is willing to buy books. Even if you do not win, you could still make some money from selling your fantastic works to him!
