Then you are a very mature atheist, and I respect you.

Being an Atheist doesn't mean people don't WANT a God. It just means they don't believe one exists. Or have a religious belief, to be more exact. It's the minority that is vehemently anti-belief system, and they seem more like antitheists than atheists.

And Oskar... I personally think that, as the writer said, multiple theories should be taught alongside evolution, including the Flysing Spaghetti Monster. It shouldn't be teaching students one theory, which, as many people have complained about both creationism and Darwinism, "brainwashes" children. Rather, students should be allowed to draw their own conclusions.

Thanks for the document! A very interesting read.

1. There is no such thing as "Darwinism" There's natural selection, but no "Darwinism" Considering it's not a religon.

2. I don't know much about the school system in america, I myself go to a public school in scandinavia. But I think there is a big problem about the tons of "Christian" schools that are popping up in the US, those schools are free to learn their students whatever they want, and by a young age can brainwash them into christianity, I mindly afraid that they do not give proper time to teach about Islam or Hinduism, and if they do, underedrucated people, claiming to be "teachers" will just yell a lot of bias and hoax's about Islam because they personaly do not like it, you can already see the effects of Fraux "News"

1. Neo-Darwinism is a thing.

2. This is bias, unfair, under-educated, and a very rude thing to say. Christians teach freedom. I personally go to a christian school, and religion influences their beliefs. It does not resort to brainwashing. And we do study other religions as part of our philosophy and theology class. We do touch on these things. I personally have not gotten the chance to be in these classes, but I will. And the teachers are very informed. Some very famous and genius people have graduated from our school.  You can't take away religion no matter how hard you try. Faith will always be there. Whether it be correct or not. Sorry if this was random, but yeah :P

The good thing about brainwash is, that you don't know that you have been brainwashed, I don't if if have... And teaching "Freedom"? You've got to be kidding me.

Colossians 3:18  Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. (The new testamente)   No person is free, they're all entitled to the laws of their country, christians get even more laws to follow with the ten commandmends , freedom is when you can do whatever you want, whenever you will. And why do you only learn about other religons in philosophy and theology class? Religion class is where you are taught about all the wonders of religion. By the way, the school I go on is one of the top 50 best schools with a average grade being +B (If calculated into the american system)... And it's a public school. Ahh, faith, some day it will surely be forced out as it was forced in, and if it don't, people will just awake and think for themselves.

I don't know if this has been talked about or not, but I'll post it anyways.

I don't believe in a higher being because of the amount of loopholes and and false information in any and all forms of the bible.  I read part of a bible one time just to get a better understanding of it and stopped when I read 'No animals ate meat before Noah's Arc'.  Scientifically proven this is false as a plethora of animals ate before the alleged time.

Other quotes -

"I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man. She must be quiet." (1 Timothy 2:12)

"Wives should be subordinate to their husbands as to the Lord." (Ephesians 5:22)

"Slaves, be subject to your masters with all reverence, not only to those who are good and equitable but also to those who are perverse." (1 Peter 2:18)

These make me sick to hear, of course this isn't about all religion but other points about other religions is that in the name of a God, wars centered around that have killed more people than Kim Jon II, Raul Castro, And Hitler combined.  Not a fan of religion myself, but if a true god shows himself then I'll gladly follow him.

Fun fact:

God has murderd 2,552,452 people

Satan only 10.

This dosen't even count all the egyptian trouble, and the sin flood, all these deaths are confirmed in the bible, It's estimated that he killed 24,712,019 in total. Now who is the good and who's the bad? 14,700 people were killed by him, for complaining about his killing... That's 1,470 more then satan did, in total.

Ahem, may I point out that most things in the old testament of the Bible are nulled by modern Christians......however, I am not sure if Timothy is new or old......

Might I suggest something in my personal beliefs? Why can't there be a god, and the bible just be completely untrue. Just because there is a god doesn't mean there has to be a book with first hand accounts on it. Now, I'm personally Agnostic and I believe there is a higher power, but not some vengeful god that wants to punish you if you tell a lie or forgive you for murder if you tell a priest. Why couldn't this higher power have set evolution into place? There's no reason why not.

Why does everyone assume He wants to punish you if you sin? God hates the sin, but loves the sinner.

But God created the concept of sin in the first place? Unless it existed before Him? Please, someone clarify this for me.

Before I answer this question, I would like to ask you a few questions.

1. Does cold exists?

2. Does darkness exists?

3. Does evil exists?

Then why did he create Hell in the first place if he loves everyone and no one is going to end up there?

All these questions are really about opinion. For example, Owls are nocturnal, therefore they can't see "Darkness" as us humans. I can also resist cold even better then my american relatives, and most fish don't feel "Pain" so they can't fell cold either.

'Evilness' is also about opinion, for example, you might think the people in the middleast are evil, but they might think themselves as good.

The point is there is no evidence for ANY god, so why believe in it?
