The Therkul pride is the largest and most powerful pride currently in the Kharajyr. The pride welcomes all with open arms as long as you are prepared to live and die in the name of the pride. Therkul's stick up for each other in times of need and are expected to unless their actions break the laws set by the Tlatlanni. Being part of this mighty pride means being part of everything it stands for, freedom, power and wealth. By supporting in eachother, we grow stronger. The Therkul's currently hold a strong position in the Kharajyr and not much happens on the island without Zeriko or the pride knowing of it. The pride consists of most of the Kharajyr military. If a pride member is killed or harmed by the empire for no good reason then a revolution could be expected. Tiazar was a mane of Therkul which raised to power of Tla' which gives the Therkul Pride great honour and strength within the empire. The Therkul pride is a powerful ally, and your worst nightmare of an enemy.

~~History~~

Therkul history is a long and complicated one. The Therkul's originaly were two seperate Prides, the Oh'Khan's and the Tanar's. Tiazar was mane of the Oh'Khans and Krahn was mane of the Tanar's. Both had very different ways and different beliefs, there was much conflict between the prides. One day the prides were fighting once again, nothing strange about that, Krahn shot an arrow blindly towards the Oh'Khans and hit a young Oh'Khan kitten named Majiir, this was the turning point. Krahn couldn't forgive himself for what he had done and his pride stopped bothering the Oh'Khans. It wasn't long before Krahn made a suggestion to Tiazar, Krahn suggested that they combine their prides to form a more powerful one. Tiazar hated Krahn and everything he stood for but the idea of such a powerful pride consumed him and he accepted. And so the Therkul pride was born, there was however, one problem. Krahn insisted on being joint mane with Tiazar, Tiazar hated this idea but had no choice but to accept it. Inside Tiazar had always hated Krahn, even if he kept that hidden. Whenever Tiazar wanted to make a decision for the pride, Krahn was there too, halting his progress. Krahn didn't agree with many of Tiazar's ideas. As the outside world began to reveal itself, many noticed that Krahn seemed to take a liking to the apes that they discovered, many frowned upon this and Tiazar used it to his advantage. Tiazar visited the Tlatlanni about Krahn's actions and how he posed a threat to his pride and to the Kharajyr, Krahn had even given an ape a tour of the island, feeding it and telling it og Kharajyr history and secrets. The Tlatlanni had to keep his peoples interests at heart and soon Krahn was sacraficed atop the temple to their goddess Metztli. Nobody can be sure that Krahn's fate was sealed by Tiazar, but a few had their suspicions. Tiazar know has complete control over the Therkul pride and keeps a watchful eye on the Tanar side of the pride, knowing that they may act badly to Krahn's death. Since the death of the Tla'Xerdun, Tiazar was chosen by Metztli to be the new Tla' giving up his position as mane, the pride name has grown and a new mane was choosen by two Elders, Zeriko was chosen. Zeriko will keep a eye to watch his pride, he sees few that does not like Tiazar's actions but Zeriko does not agree as well. Zeriko wants to keep peace and not make rash moves to the new Tla' since he knows what Tiazar can do. Zeriko still has a grudge on Tiazar on the death of his brother and his nephew, Zeriko is not foulish on striking but will if Tiazar makes one foolish mistakes with the apes.

Tanar history

Dra’Merr was the founding father of House Tanar, he served the Tlatlanni for many years as Dra’Metzir upholding the rights and laws of the Empire and protecting the Emperor. On guard duty after performing a tactical training session to Do’ trainees, Dra’Merr met Ki’Dalee, a female Leparda merchant whom was funding weapons for the Empire’s military. Dra’Merr and Ki’Dalee began to get romantically involved with each other. Dra’Merr and Ki’Dalee after a long relationship produced long lines of Pantera and Leparda, which they had three sons. Rikoa, Dakato and Akzek. Dakato was the Leparda out of the three sons. They fought and trained with their father, and was told that their duty is to protect Tlatlanni and serve as a Dra’Metza like their father did. Generations passed and like Rikoa, Dakota and Akzek the children of Tanar dreamed and earned the title of Dra’Metza. Most citizens of the Empire recognised the Moonblades as Tanar until other houses and Kharajyr managed to earn the title. One of the esteemed noble houses earning Moonblade status was House Dirr. House Tanar and House Dirr always seemed to have a fairly friendly relationship and considered having their children mate so that a unique bond could be made between the two houses. During those times as other Prides rose there was one house which Tanar never and still has took a liking to. House Ohkhan and Tanar had a neutral relationship for the many generations living together until the disaster which caused many Kharajyr to flee from their homes and escape to the boats as the Empire Volcano erupted under Metztli’s gaze. House Tanar arrived at a stormy desert where they had little chance to drink, eat or bathe. House Tanar including the Empire were mostly dehydrated due to the scarce of food and water. Dra’Krahn the current leader of House Tanar brought his kitten Hazarin along with him. During the time waiting at the sandy desert, Krahn constructed the boat which finally took the Empire back to its homeland. On the way back Krahn discovered a unique Kharajyr scarred and battle worn on the ship. After a long talk Krahn and the stranger exchanged greetings until something caught their eye. Krahn was apparently related to this mysterious stranger named Zeriko. Krahn and Zeriko happened to have the same parents and the exact same birthdate. Zeriko and Krahn talked about their parents and how they dishonoured the Tanar family name mostly starting with their Mother, Khajiir. The known abouts of her is unknown only by Zeriko’s word, that she fled and killed herself for what she done. She tried to grab all she can, entertainment and money. Dishonouring the name of Tanar. Her body is burnt and soul is with Metzlti, watching Zeriko and her abandoned son.

Oh'khan history

The Oh’Khan Family is descended from the hunter warrior Khan (A Pantera). He was one of Do'Kuta, and some say he was the founder and leader of the first group of them. He met his lover and later on wife when he was hunting in the great lush jungle of Karakuta. She was named Sa’Oh (A Tigrasi), and they deeply loved each other, so much that they became life mates and changed their surname to Oh’Khan, symbolising there love. They had two sons, one called Tonor (a Tigrasi of sorts), the eldest, and the other Kujiir (A Pantera). Since the Tanar’s started letting other people into the Dra’Metza, Tonor joined them, and Kujiir followed his father into the skirmisher side of the military. Tonor married another Tigrasi, and had one child called Tiazar, now the head of the pride. Kujiir married another Pantera, and he had two sons, the elder, Eldai and Kija. Tiazar had had one cub with a beautiful tigrasi but she sadly passed away giving birth, and later on his cub drowned in a river, This mentally destroyed Tiazar and to this day has a fear of water. Eldai had a daughter with a Pantera women and named her Dai, she is now 10. Kija had two children with a Tigrasi called Akara, One called Majiir, the elder and a boy, and one called Liara, the younger and a girl. Even though Tiazar is the cousin of Eldai and Kija, they are very close, and call each other brothers. Tiazar, like his father, joined the military, As did Kija and Eldai.

~~Ways of the Therkul~~

A kitten turns into a member at the age of 15 which they have to fight one of our members and judge your strength. Fail or win, the kitten will still be in the pride as a member after the trial. A member turns into an elder if the mane believes they are ready for it, being an elder means you have a say with what happens to the pride, help with issues and change Mane's mind. Mane mother are like Elders which they have a say as well and are respected, when mane is to fall, she have to step down her position.

Only way to get in the pride is by bonding with our members or by birth, since we are half of Kharayjr's population.

In the unfortunate and unlikely case that the mane should die, then the next mane is to be chosen with a large arena fight between the elders if they wish for that position. It is not to the death, simply till only one remains without surrendering. However, mane's orders to the next mane are to punish those responsible for his/her death, if it was a death by the Tlatlanni's hand or an Aelkos, then orders are to stand up against the empire and take control, one of the many reasons that the Therkul pride should be respected for their power. If the new mane does not perform this task, then the rest of the pride is expected to remove him of his position.
