TOWN

CHARTER

MC Name:

My MC Name is CPU_Easy

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

RP Name:

My RP Name CURRENTLY is Economics Doyen Darric Braveaxe, but if this

town gets accepted, then it will probably be High Lord Darric

Braveaxe

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Town Name:

The Town of Kal'Urbaz-Reamh, or for short, people can call it Kal'Urbaz

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Why are you/your character starting this town? What role will it play?

My Character, Darric Braveaxe, is starting this town,

Kal'Urbaz, for three main reasons. The first being, establishing trade

between Mount Ire, Kal'Urbaz, Salvus, Hanseti, and the Elves. As

stated by our noble Paragon here, in the Dwarvish Reports:

Trade:

Trades are yet to be established, the Paragon wishes to see the

potential Doyen prove their worth and to establish trade between

Salvus, Hanseti and the Elves.

In the Dwarven language, Kal' means

City, Urbaz means

Trade, and Reamh means

Heaven. So technically it will be the trade

"nirvana" for the Dwarven Kingdom.

The second reason my character is starting this town is because trade

has been low for Mount Ire and the Dwarven kingdom, as stated above,

and since Mount Ire and Kal'Urbaz will need building and rebuilding,

we will up the ante for demand for our dwarven kingdom, and maybe

speed up the process of building, and remodeling.

The final reason that my character wants to create this town is that

while the homes are being built in Mount Ire, where most of the

Dwarves currently live (I think), there are few houses, and the

dwarves had to build a public shelter area. During the build of this

town, maybe it can be finished before the remodeling of Mount Ire so

Dwarves can at least have some shelter above their heads.

In all honesty, I think that this town will play an excellent role in

trade and commerce, because since this will be a trade town, a lot of

merchants will set up stalls, and I maybe even allow other races to

become a part.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What type of political system is enforced in this town? Is this town

under the reign of any other nation at this time?

There will be a work in progress political system, but the backbone

will look a bit like this.

High Lord - High Lord Darric Braveaxe - The leader of the town. Get to decide war, have final say, etc. All house taxes, house sales, and town profit go to him.

Grand Advisor - Currently Open - The grand advisor is the second in command, just under the high lord. He has the control of the town, except he can not make war, make laws, or take house tax/profit. Chosen by High Lord only.

Grand Merchant - Currently Open - The grand merchant is a very honored role, especially in a trading town like this one. The gran merchant has control over the merchant area, where goods and wares are sold.

Master Architect - Currently Open - the master architect will be in charge of building Kal'Urbaz. He may choose other architects to help him build. As a reward for building, he will be earned a state manor just outside of Kal'Urbaz AND the title of Master Architect.

The High Council: The High Council is the roles mentioned above plus four council members or "Doyen". Those four Doyen include:

Doyen of Economics - Currently open - This Doyen will be in charge of the economy in Kal'Urbaz.

Doyen of War - Currently open - A.K.A the Military General, this Doyen will be in charge of the military.

Doyen of Religion - Currently open - De ja vu, this Doyen will be the leader of the Dwarven religion.

Ambassador of Kal'Urbaz- Currently open - Will represent foreign matters in Kal'Urbaz.

((This government is a HUGE W.I.P))

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What sort of behavior will residents exhibit? (Race relations, nation

relations, etc.)

Residents will do their best to behave like normal dwarves, supporting their kingdom, always enjoying their life and remembering to drink a lot of ale at "Reamhs Mug" Kal'Urbaz's official tavern. We will have a mine for citizens to mine, and maybe add more for the residents. So far, all races may join the town, but I think that no other race except dwarves are willing to join this town. As for nation and city allies, we are allies with the dwarven kingdom, and we will probably be located near kal'dwain and Mount ire, so we have allies with the dwarves. We will start becoming allies with the other nations, but other than that, it is just the dwarves right now.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Where would you prefer the town’s region be? Including a screenshot of

the land would be nice (of game or map).

Unfortunately, I was typing this on my iPhone, so when I get on my computer, I will post some pictures. But I'm guessing east from mount ire.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Any other details (architecture, races, culture, etc):

Yes, the architecture should look like dwarven buildings, and half of the houses will be engraved in the mountains, half on the ground.

I suppose so, this wont need a charter if you get permission from the king (Kjell).

The dwarves are trying to stay together, not spread each other out. I don't think this city / town will be accepted by the king now, but, later on, it may. But, you'll have to wait for the actual King's responce. ^^

Denied

Reason: We do not wish to see anymore villages or cities appear in the kingdom, if this does happen others will be expecting a town of their own, or they may choose to attempt in resurrecting one of the older towns we removed its members from.

Even though your charter was denied, doesn't mean it is a bad idea!

You could make a section in the new dwarven city dedicated to the economy of the dwarves!
