The Undead Have Returned...

High Scholar Nemantius stands at the Wilven Sanctuary, shouting to any passerby. The mark of Iblees can be seen sliced on his face in blood, just crusting over.

Men and women of Asulon! I come here today to fulfill my end of an agreement. I have been asked, in exchange for my life, to announce the return of the Undead. The mark of Iblees himself has been rendered unto my flesh as a form of proof. And it is likely to be a grave reminder to even myself. I was approached by one of their kin, and barely escaped with my life before agreeing. I do not believe that there is safety anymore. I'm not sure if there ever will be.

*Cataris watches the man with disdain, before speaking back*

"And if my brethren dare-so return, I'll cast them back to their fiery depths, for they do not belong on this land."

*Cataris waves his hand dismissively as he turns to begin to walk away*

Silk passes by but hearing these terrible news he stops and listens. Then he says:

The world will thank you for your warning and your sacrifice. I shall try to spread this message. Your brave deed shall not be forgotten.

*Looks up from his study of trying to find the Oracle of the Undead, his search with Cataris and his brothers and sisters never ending to track down the so called "sons of iblees". With a mutter he looks back to his studies, mumbling in a foul tone*

"So... it seems the Arch enemy stirrs quicker than I could have possibley imagined. Has my worse fear finally come true? That Iblees has once again broken the barriers of the void like in the tales of old itself? If such is the case...

Then our time, has come once again.

But I must check to see if the foul cart relic in Amonfoul is still secure..."

*Slowly, he gains his step from the bench from whence he sat apon, and with heavy intentions in his heart, he walks slowly back to the dark tower of AmonFoul.*

I hope this isnt false, did Native or Vaq decide on this. Can someone elaborate more on this post please? []

[[it's just RP guys, who cares what Native or Vaq say? Just do what your character would do if they saw this sort of thing happening, and leave the rest as a suprise.]]

Ouity ignores the commotion, walking past dismissivly. He's heard the cries of wolf many times before...

Gurigal sighs.

By the Celestial, it has gotten out quicker than I had feared. I do fear there will be riots and uproars. I assume we must stand as one once again, to fight the reasoning. The Oracle. . .

Gurigal walks off back to the Temple.

Idriel overhears, whilst holding a small dove, patting it lightly.

As she listens, she thinks: "Well, unto this grim news, may it be a task we shall all overcome. Aeriel tests us once more, and this time we must be ready"

Idriel then climbs upon a white horse, and gallops into the distance, unknown in direction

[[For the record, I don't know if it's real or not. I was approached by deathmetus in-character, and he turned the conversation into what was literally, my very selfish as-long-as-I-get-to-live character Nemantius' deal with devil. Either way, just RP it out. For all my character or yours knows, I may be telling the truth.]]

((So basically you were approached by the Oracle of the Undead in person then? Because that is who deathmeatus is playing as somehow... leading the sons of iblees and trying to reopen a portal to the nether.))

*Cataris stops in his steps, listening to the words spoke "The Oracle", he turns to speak to those whom cared to listen*

"The Oracle is no true threat, he is not that of the Undead returning, he is an old shrunken man whom thirsts for power which he shall never obtain. No doubt he tosses pouches of mina to those whom grovel at his feet to do his bidding and attempt to spread fear and false words that the Undead return, for they have not returned and they shall not."

*Sherlock passes among the crowd at the temple, listening to the man. With a finger and thumb on his chin, he gazes to the sky, in thought, with slight regret yet a hint of hidden fear, he whispers.*

"J-Just another mad man shouting his beliefs...I never saw an Undead, but I've seen the death of men...can't be much different."

*After looking to the ground, back to the sky, around himself and finally at the man again, he shouts*

"Oi! Doom-sayer! What'd 'appen if 'dese Undead caught t' plague!"

Hangs his head, as if not sure how to retort.

I'm not mad. Iblees spared me to tell you this. Were it that he didn't, I would not be here.
