[[Posting this on behalf of the King of Skravia]]

(This notice is up around Skravia, and news of it quickly reaches other nations)

MAGIC OUTLAWED

By order of the Kings of Skravia, it is now illegal to:

1. Perform any form of magic.

2. Use any form of magical or enchanted item.

3. Assist in hiding the use of magic/magical artefact from the Skravian Inquisition.

4. Impair the work of or refuse to comply with the Skravian Inquisition.

5. Speak in support of magic within Skravia.

A new military force will be set up, the Skravian Inquisition, to enforce these laws. Skravian Inquistors will have the authority to apprehend magic users and seek out magic use in any way they deem necessary, and deal with mages in accordance with Skravian law.

For their first breach of this law, offenders will be imprisoned for one day. If offenders commit another breach of this law, they will be handed over to the Wihun Guild.

This is due to recent magical anomalies in the city, which are thought to be as a result of overuse of magic by Skravian citizens.

The Inquistion is to be set up by The King, and under his direct command. Any accusations of criminal magic by the King will be dealt with harshly by the Inquisition.

((Spoken, written, any way for the people of Skravia and visitors to know of this?))

((Its being posted on the dock notice boards, in front of the gates etc.))

((Also, this isn't barring mages from entering, its barring them from using Magic within the territory. So long as you aren't using any form of magic in the public eye you would be fine (unless of course someone rats you out) Basically you would be entering Skravia at your own risk if you are a magic user so it would be in your best interest to hold off on magic if its a necessity to enter Skravia at least until this darker period in our history comes to a close))

From what Barry said, it's just illegal to perform magic or use magical items

Saeldur sighs as he send a letter to all of the other High Mages

Until we can obtain a straight answer, I ask the Mages Guild to refrain from entering Skravia. If you enter, we will not be held responsible for whatever trouble you may find yourself in.

*wonders if he should keep quiet that he knows for a fact that the king, his son, and quite a few in his courts and friends, along with the medic and alchemist and the general are all practice-rs of the art...*

((If the members of the Mage's Guild are following the guild's guidelines, no one would even know they are a mage and wouldn't have anything to worry about.))
