Si'Rhakka

Character Skillset:

(Unsure what to put here. Should this be the stat list I wish to build/already have or an IC description of Rhakka's skills?)

Appearance (age, SUBRACE, gender):

Age: 24

Subrace: Kha'Leparda

Gender: Female

Rhakka is slightly thinner and smaller than the average Leparda, with light coloured, spotted fur and dark garments. Her wide eyes are violet. She has little hair on her head (apart from fur) apart from a slightly darker plaited mane that runs the back of her neck to just above her waist, looking deceptively like a ape ponytail. Her tail is long and slightly ringed, with a dark tip.

Personality:

Si'Rhakka is the physical embodiment of the phrase 'free spirit'. Living life for its myriad joys and simple pleasures, she is quick to make friends and hard to anger. She bears ill to none save the apes, to whom she shows a mixture of fear and wonder. Her care-free attitude to life has often led to misunderstandings with males, who take her behaviour for flirtation. While flattered and amused by these advances, she has no real interest in taking a Metz'al in this stage of her life, preferring to spend her time wandering the jungle canopies, swimming in lakes and exploring the more primal side of the Kharajyr. A smile is never too far from Rhakka's lips, all it takes is the right words or actions to coax one out.

Please include a short bio of your character's life:

Si'Rhakka was the lone survivor of a litter of two, with her sister being stillborn. She parents were fishercats, spending much time outside the city walls; Rhakka took her first steps with leaf under paw and canopy over head. Truth be told she had learned to swim before she could walk, catching fish in her teeth in deep jungle lakes with her father and mother.

As she grew older she would spend greater periods of time away from her parents, often travelling into the city to make friends with the street-kittens and trying to find fish in bath houses. She would take her newfound friends to the highest canopies of the jungle on occasion, spending nights sleeping on the top branches of the tallest dreams, with the warm wind as a lullaby to send the growing kittens to sleep.

In a sense, Rhakka has never progressed beyond those days. While her kitten friends of old are now guards or hunters she prefers to stay free. She spends her days laughing with old friends or playing with kittens, and her nights stalking the jungles and relaxing in moonlit pools... but not before catching all the fish in them, of course. Occasionally she has been know to climb to the highest treetops and sing, a sweet melody of love, wonder and freedom.

Character's ambitions:

Rhakka has few, if any, ambitions other than to live her free life to the full and perhaps find someone or something to share the joys of freedom with. She has had a few suitors seeking to make her their Metz'al, but she has never judged any to be her true love.

_---Situational Rp Questions---_

1.

As you travel through the Karakatuan jungle, you spot a human trespassing on your nation's lands. He approaches you, obviously distressed, and asks for any food, water, or shelter that you can provide, then tells you that he has been lost in the area for days without any proper supplies. How do you react?:

Rhakka's breath stills to little more than a light purr, suppressing a growl of anger, wonder and fear. The ape falls at her feet, wringing his furless paws above his head. Rhakka jumps back in shock, accidentally whipping the man in the face with her claws. He reels in pain a metre from her, whimpering softly. She gasps lightly, shocked at the pain she has caused the furless ape. She had always imagined them as towering beasts that would come to loot and steal kittens from their cots... but this thing was no monster. Gingerly, she steps forward, crouching and coming level with the ape's odd white eyes.

"Apes should not come to this place... no riches or food for you in these lands", she purrs, in what she thought was a quiet, non-threatening voice. Instead the thing's eyes grow wide and his scent reeks of fear. She smells that he has also soiled himself. Unsure what to do, she reaches for the fruit she had picked earlier and offers it to him. As he gingerly take it, she speaks, even softer than before:

"A river flows past those crossed trees. It's track leads to your place... only death here."

The thing's gaze follows her pointed arm as he bites ravenously into the red fruit. The ape stands, slowly at first, but rising to his full height, though still a head shorter than Rhakka. His cracked lips begin to form words:

"Th-thank you... you saved... sav-"

The man stumbles towards her, arms outstretched as if to embrace. Rhakka's pulse quickens and the fear returns. She pushes the ape away, drops to a crouch and lets out a viscious growl. The thing screeches in terror and runs, stumbling over the undergrowth towards the river, sobbing as he goes. Rhakka stands there for a moment, quivering in fear and embarrasment. She turns to where the man went, his cries still wringing through the canopy. Tears well in her eyes as she whispers quietly:

"W-wait..."

2.

As you romp through the lands of the "apes", you come across a tavern. Inside this tavern, a Dwarf notices you and starts gawking at you, then begins to speak.

"Oi! I gots a bowl of cream for you, Kitty! Ha! I'd bet you would make a nice throw rug, wouldn't ya, ya mangy furball?!"

He continues act generally as racist as possible. What do you do?:

Rhakka's heart pounds in her chest as she tries to eat a fish that the ape barman had put under a fire for some reason, fumbling with the strange eating weapons that the ape had given her. She had seated herself alertly at the back of the tavern, trying to make herself as small and as harmless as she could, but the small ape had noticed her anyway. She tries to ignore him as she attempts to skewer the lightly burned fish with the tiny dagger and trident. The little thing roars again:

"Ha! Looks like little kitty's deaf as well as mangy! In't that right, little kitteh-cat?!"

The stunted ape buckles over the bar in laughter, as some taller apes laugh raucously. Rhakka's heart pounds even harder, her chest rising and falling as she hacks at the fish, her eyes darting between the ape and her would-be dinner. She looks to see if she can make for the door, but the taller apes are standing in front of it. She turns her attention to her meal, trying her hardest not to seem afraid. The small ape saunters over, putting it's hand on her waist and twisting her off the chair to to pull her towards him. His hands begin to hook round her lower coverings.

"Oooh! It's a SHE-kitty! C'mere kitty, let's 'ave a look-see at 'ow far them spots go d-"

Rhakka pounces on the ape, scratching at his face. Tavern patrons gasp in shock as the small ape screams in pain. Rhakka's claws slow after a while, eventually coming to a stop, quivering in shock at her own ferocity. The ape's face was a mess of long thin cuts and blood swelling from dozens of tiny wounds, the blood covering the fur of her paws. She kneels over the ape and lets out a long, angry hiss. She turns and jumps through the window, running for the tree line on all fours, crying as she goes.

3.

One of your fellow Kharajyr and a close friend of yours comes to your dwelling in the middle of the night and begins to pound on your door. After you let him in, he confesses to killing another Kharajyr over a slice of cake. What do you do in response?

Rhakka sits cross-legged on her mat, mouth agape in shock and horror. Her friend looks at her, his voice silent but his emerald eyes screaming for a response. She puts her slice of cake down slowly, her eyes transfixed by his. Suddenly she screeches and slaps him across the cheek. He falls back, his paw going to the small gash she accidentally made with her backhand. Seeing what she has done, Rhakka runs to him, grabbing his wrist and sobbing. He moves to comfort her, but she pushes him back, rising to her feet. Finally she speaks:

"You... we... have two choices. Either we go to the Tlatlanni, together, and confess your crime with dignity... or you run. I will not stop you, if you go now... but come sunrise I will tell the guards"

She rushes to him and embraces him in a long, deep hug, her head on his chest. His heart was fast, but she knows that hers is beating faster. He opens his mouth. Whether to comfort her, apologise, or even explain himself she would never know.

"Go... go now and be free for a time. Return at sunrise... or not at all. Whichever you choose... you will be at the mercy of Metztli by day's break"

Do you swear to follow the Tlatlanni and uphold his law, and do you swear to hold Metztli and all of her actions as sacred?

*Rhakka gives a low, sweeping bow*

"On my freedom and my life I do swear it"

Please include a screenshot or 3D render of your character's skin

(Yet to be made. This is my first female character, let alone Kharajyr, so I wouldn't know where to start, really. Are there any Kha skin makers that could help?)

ACCEPTED!

A well thought out app. And if you look in the OOC section there is a pinned post with Kharajyr base skins in it. Take one of those and edit it if you like.
