I haven't actually gone there, as reading between the lines I have limited skills and this is going to cause landscarring anyways, and I feel my own incompetence could spoil it for others. There was a great deal of trust laid on the players for the people running this to agree to this.

And I know from hanging with some of you guys, not only on the game, but in Wandering souls while I was working on a texture pack that you guys deserve a chance. I will be the last person to wreck that for you...

That been said I have no problems if this doesn't work, helping clearing the land scarring, asthetics and visuality are important for RP servers.

No one has any idea how hard it is to rebuid the mine after the strip mining.. Some people just leave the holes, other place cobble and think it looks nice.. And for some reason some destroy supports.. I had to rebuild a room because someone decided it would be nice to place cobble at random to create rp supports..

Some people will destroy it because they think its a bad idea, and will prove themselves right. At the very least, I hope this new land creates a lot of new ban reports.
