The Royal Navy of Holm

-Description of Navy-

The Royal Navy of Holm is led by the Admiral of Cladheart, Shu Jing of Farport. The Royal Navy is dedicated to the defence of Holm and it's people. The sailors of the Royal Navy are willing to lay down their life and their ships for the safety and protection of Holm. The Royal Navy is attempting to immortalize themselves as the most prestigious, diligent and powerful Navy in history.

Activities throughout the Royal Navy are dependant upon rank. The Royal Navy will perform regular voyages around Holm and outlying waters for search of any threats to their borders. Spare naval men at Holm will act as guardsmen, patrolling the streets and docks, bringing safety to the seas and the streets of Holm. The Admiral has total and complete say over the Navy, only the King and/or Queen may say otherwise. The Commodore acts on behalf of the Admiral to the Captains. Each Captain has say upon his ship, Admiral and Commodore still overrule him. A Captain upon another Captain's ship will be considered the First-Mate and cannot refuse orders from that Captain, his ship, his law. All below ranks are to follow their superiors.

Quartermasters will be expected to equip the ships with weaponry along with the sailors of said ships. Sailors with knowledge on shipwrighting will be expected to repair ship damage during voyages, battle or otherwise. Sailors are to do as commanded by their Captains and First-Mates or above.

Those within the Navy can expect in time to receive free housing along with payment depending on how well you have performed. Uniforms will be given out and expected to be worn. Disobedient sailors will receive warnings, depending on their disobedience, warnings and their lack of work effort they may receive a fine, loss of employment or worse, hanged in dire circumstances. This Navy is for only the most dedicated sailors, we do not tolerate slack-off's and disobedience.

If you wish to join the Royal Navy we look for skills, we do not hire people who are green as grass. Having a background in sailing is liked but we will settle for those who are just as good a swordsman but you will be trained how to man a ship.

A brief description about yourself: S'Eragorn was born in raised in the empire of Kha. Grew up up poor and was leasted liked of his siblings. Grew up learning the ways of war and farming. Later in life he joined the Kha navy and maned a ship and sailed as often as he could. After the fall of the empire he has been traveling the land looking for work and home, even if it's not where he wants.

*A boat in the distance begins to close into the Cloud Temple port. Sibi's Guidance is the boat, edorned in a flag of red and gold. A tall muscular man leaves the boat dressed in the uniform of a sailor from the Royal Navy of Holm. He walks through the temple at a brisk pace, handing a note and uniform to a Monk, asking of him to deliver it to S'Eragorn Therkul, a Kharajyr. The Monk nods his head and begins his travel to deliver the letter. S'Eragorn finally receives the letter, along with it is a uniform. The letter bears the seal of the Royal Navy of Holm; A shield with two crossing war-hammers and a rams head at the forefront.*

A brief description about yourself: Alek was born in the harsh northern planes of Asulon. After moving away from his family, since he didn't want to follow in his Father's footsteps in being a warrior, he studied with the elven race to expand his not so deep knowledge. While living with the elves, he discovered that he also had a cracking shot with a bow and arrow, and took up archery as a favourite past time while not studying. He has recently began wandering the realms of Asulon, only to later find himself broke and living on the streets. After seeing the Holm Navy advertisement poster while wandering a small port town, he decides to go for it and submit a résumé that will hopefully get him off of the streets. Alek is willing to devote himself to the Navy.

*News reaches solace of rumors Holm is raising an army. Prince Lancels men (Disguised as lepers) Spy upon the new navy that has seemed to spring out of no where. Lancel Stresses over a map looking for all possible ways to Holm through sea. Rain hits the window like a thousand little drums as the candle flickers over the table. "Troubled times are coming I fear.. ships must be built to patrol these waters," Lancel thinks to himself while sipping wine from his right hand.
