Even though a ddos is one if the most easy things to Do on the internet. It when he says over 200,000 independent ip addresses what he means is that is how many slave ips are involved. Usually ddos only have one to three masters with all the rest being slave ips usually shackled when you click on certain things or download certain stuff off the Internet. Anyone can be a slave ip if their not careful and track their Internet usage. Ddos is usually effective because you can't find out who the masters are usually. So you end up banning and shutting out many of the innocent slave ips to deal with it. Japan and Ukraine are not the cause of this itself. It is just whoever this master(s) is have spent a lot more time than usual gathering slave ips Meh, Anon is a lot more impressive than just DDoS, and I doubt it's them anyway.
