[Poll] Multiple Character Cards...

I say no to all. Players already abuse the fact they can /setname and change skins. Get them corrected before we add in something like this.

Otherwise give us legit players the ability to ignore the fact that they are playing a 'new' character when we know they are abusing it.

Or if it must go in, at least make it a VIP perk. Bedrock+ is a good start.

Diamond VIP, I believe is a better start.

In regards to 'trusting players' all I'm going to say is the stealth/wrestling/herbalism stats could be described as a beta test for 'trust'. Massive amounts of players abused the skill reset and contributed to RP traits of a character that certainly wasn't the one they were rolling.

We can't trust the public. I'm sorry, but it's true. Most players will exploit of given the chance, even if there is a chance of being caught.

You disagree with me or with the whole idea?

With you.

This will get abused so badly it isnt funny. As for the ones that would use it correctly the ones that abuse it would ruin it for everyone else. I vote no to this as to avoid any problems for Vaq coding and for the staff on tickets and reports that will start being generated on players abusing this system.

It sounds more like a step back to where you can make one toon swap through different skill stats and do everything like in basic minecraft. And guess what will happen then, no one will have jobs because everyone will have two to three toons that can do everything and wont need outside help. This will undermine your skill plugin Vaq and lead to players drifting again away from the need of others.

No thanks.

P.s. Thanks for the recent testificates fix and patchs great work! "go ahead and put creepers back in  ".

Probably because their stats are then locked unless they pay, so they're stating for that character and all future characters.

Raise your hand if you played a Mori and has a time where you wished you could play another character, but didn't want to have to kill your Mori to do so....."All hands raise" Thats what I thought.

I think this would be a fantastic idea. And if people abuse it, punish them accordingly. Shouldn't mean the rest of us can't have nice things.

I know people have to make a second app when playing an alt character with a new account, so will people have to fill out a second app for their extra character cards? I know everyone's tired of all the apps, but I think it would make sense.

It would work if it were almost exactly like an alt account.

That is to say:

Stats are different.

Location is different.

Inventory is different.

Character card is different.

Then it's no worse than a separate account alt.

Then have /resetme. People reroll without changing the charcard, having /resetme just means that the character cards'll be right.

As for dubious stat assignment, triple or quadruple XP. If people can alter their skills then they'll assign them more appropriately to the character. That, or do Vaq's idea and give each player the power to restat every week or so.

I thought the rule used to be 1 character per account. That character could be killed or go missing but he had to be "retired" to play a new one.

When I came back recently from a several month break I was honestly quite annoyed with how everyone seems to have an inaccurate character card or one listing something like:

"Ellequin- Wood elf, Burgark'Gro'Blurgark- Orc, Cki'svhix- Kha"

Why not make the rule that if you want to play an "alt" you need to cough up the $20 for the MC account or kill your old toon first?

I think that would cut down on metagaming as well as me seeing people's ign tag and *assuming* they're still the same character I Rp'd with previously.

Edit:

Raise your hand if you played a Mori and has a time where you wished you could play another character, but didn't want to have to kill your Mori to do so....."All hands raise" Thats what I thought.

The point is that the "flavor of the month" races would be a much bigger issue if everyone had the option to play one without getting rid of their first character.

I'm pretty sure that everything you just described could be solved/mitigated by just making people buy a new account for their alts. Why make it so easy to have multiple characters? Seems powergame-y to me.

[#10355] You must cast your vote in each question of the poll.

I keep getting that^

Would "world locations" mean soulstone locations?

When you switch character you go to where your character was.

Because not everyone has money to throw at new minecraft accounts. It might be simple for you, but it's incredibly arrogant to assume that everyone else is in a position to also.

The common answer is that not everybody has money to spend like that or parents will not let them have two accounts or more. I am just one of those people who doesn't have the money.
