Thomas passes by the sign in Arethor and reads it. After reading it, he mutters to himself, "Only 4000 minas for a house in Arethor? This can't be right. It must be some scam". He decides to put up a piece of paper saying he's interested in it though, just in case it's real. It says, "I, Thomas, am interested in this house. I'll be in Arethor."
