Vekrus 395 Share Posted November 6, 2012 The Phoenix Guardians the Silent Elite, the Chosen Few. “For Glory, For Victory.” - Lore - In the beginning, the brotherhood was pure with the bond of two friends. Talon Tarus and Rhett Woods were friends from childhood. Everything they did, they did together. These two boys always had each other’s back and vowed never to betray each other. In the days of Asulon they saw much corruption throughout the government as well as all through the streets. As days became weeks and weeks became months it grew worse. Years passed and Talon could not stand anymore of it. Those corrupt officials and low lifes needed to be taken care of. He contacted Rhett at a classified location where they met to talk. Both wearing hoods, they could not be identified by anyone who knew them. The conversation lasted for only about 20 minutes and the two walked off going separate ways. The Phoenix Guardians had been formed. Created as a spy ring it immediately branched off into mercenary group that excelled at a variety of jobs. Their goal was to rid the world of the schemers and liars, stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. Going about undetected they were never seen or caught in the act as their skill was above all else. As years went on Talon realized that there really was good people in this world and so after many days of thought he changed his outlook on life. No longer would he do things for his own pleasure, for self gain. Instead he decided that he wanted to leave a legacy, one that would be remembered by anyone who knew his name. A new chapter had begun for the Guardians and a vision of respect and loyalty now reigned. These men now chanted a different cry, "For Glory, For Victory!" Taking this into account, no one ever said their tactics had changed... - Rules - 1. You must be loyal to the Guardians until the day you die. 2. Never steal from or murder one of your fellow Guardians. 3. Only obey orders given by your Commander. - Diplomatic Relations - Nations: Kingdom of Urguan - Ally Holy Oren Empire - Ally The Hold of Kastoria - Neutral Malinor - Neutral The War Uzg - Enemy - Ranks - Commander: Commands all of the troops and makes the decisions involving the Guardians.Master: Commands all of the troops in the absence of the Commander.Captain: Commands up to two Sergeants and take orders only from the Master and Commander.Sergeant: Commands up to five Guardians and only take orders from their Captain, the Master, or the Commander.Guardian: Commanded by a Sergeant and at times their Captain. They are the basic line of defense and are trained well.Recruit: Accepted only by the Commander. They are new to the Guardians and have lots of training to do until they are promoted. His father was in the Legion and respected as a fierce fighter and a loyal dwarf. His mother was one with a big heart. She was very kind and cared for Azrak more than he knew. His childhood was filled with great memories. Azrak was an adventurous beardling with a quick temper. He often got in fights with the other beardlings these fights usually resulted with him winning because Azrak was very muscular. His father not wanting his son to grow up like him introduced him to the craft of blacksmithing. Azrak was immediately addicted to smithing and became quite good at it. As years went on and his skill increased, Azrak decided it was his time to leave. Azrak was now at the age of 370 years old. He had become legendary with his skill in blacksmithing and wanted to make a bigger profit. So after talking with his father and packed up and headed to the human lands called the Holy Oren Empire. Here he set up shop making armor, weapons, and everyday tools for the people. Azrak felt that he had gained everything he wanted to in life and now he had the perfect life. Lead about 15 members. Short Biography (2-5 sentences) or Ambitions: Amon's ambitions in life is to serve and protect the people of Asulon. He will do what he can to find out what's wrong and fix it with the least amount of violence as possible. Also Amon want's to find out what happened to his father and sister, and will often go look for them.
