Kolyat quietly slips in from the shadows, the flickering of the fire both beckoning and familiar. Though prior to this moment he had been absent from the warmth of the fire, the deep night did little to swallow the voices of those speaking.

He looks around, reproaching Kalenz for a moment with his stare unspoken words exchanged in their stare. His arms fold them-self before him as he utters softly :

"Ker'ayla lliran"

His gaze shifts to Lucion for but a moment, a slight nod and a slow, subtle flick of his head suggesting that private matters are to be discussed later.

Quavanir Silently emerges from the shadows surrounding the fire, his ghoulish face showing no trace of emotion. though contrast to his face his body is cold and shivering, despite himself wearing a long overcoat, and the temperature barely being cold, though he does not get close to the fire, almost fearing it in an odd way.

He begins to eye the surrounding elves slowly, his gaunt face almost giving an expression of fear, looking around cautiously at who might be around the fire. after looking over all the elves that have gathered, Quavinirs face softens, now looking more concerned than afraid,

Kare'aylah

He says, his strong accent causing him to mispronounce what he believes to be an elven greeting

*Kalenz's brow immedietly twitches in irritation as he hears Quavinir butcher the elven phrase. He turns swiftly to glance in derision at Quavinir, his white clothing whirling around behind him in an effort to catch up.*

"Valah, you needn't attend such events if you are incapable of speaking. You no doubt have better events to spend your fleeting valah life attending. Disturbing this precise one with your inferior tongue need not be one of them. Hmm?"

*Having just heard Kanlenz insult him, Quavinir looks at Kanlenz with peeved expression, his high collar masking half his face. his red eyes, thin gaunt face, pale skin, half head of hair, and missing ear making him look like a deformed demon,*

"Vahriin, Kalenz, you need not to eensult me, i know very vell i can not prenounce most vords, and i am very avare of my mortality...and to be honeest i do not eenjoy you pointing out my restricted lifespan, and Brokeen heritage as a Vahlah, understand Mali'aheral?"

*Kalenz tilts his head as Quavinir speaks, moments later he chuckles.*

"Appreciation has nothing to do with it valah. It is simply a fact. As for whatever other prattle which may just have came out of your little mouth I'm not sure if I cared too little to understand it, or if it was just simply incomprehensible to me. I will let that decision lie with you.

You however do seem intent to speak, not shying away from our little gathering despite your copious inferiorities being pointed out to you in such a nonchalant way. Do make your point valah, perhaps it will have some value."

*Quavinir looks at Kalenz, his face a mess of confusion and annoyance, after taking a small moment to think before speaking, Quavinir clears his throat, and begins to speak with only a small twinge of his accent, himslef clearly trying to focus his words.*

Yes my friend, i am here to speak, and listeen, but I have just arrived here, and truly, I do not know of which topic you mali are, or were speaking of, so if you could eenlighten me of what you are or were speaking on it would be very helpful...

*Kalenz eyes him curiously.*

"Enlighten a valah? What a curious thought... Though no doubt not what you meant precisely. This fire and those around its warmth was not convened for a specific purpose alone. Conversation has formed as it should: Freely. That being said valah the topic which seems of particular interest to the many who sit around this fire is the curious position Malinor has found itself in. The even more curious decisions the heial'mali has made and if they were indeed mistakes, or carefully thought out plans which have yet to run their true course.

I myself am for the former, as I feel the alliance with the bortu; which has been mentioned many times on this night; was an inherently foolish decision and in ignoring Mr. Sullas's advice Malinor has put itself in quite a predicament with Oren.

Despite banter on the issue being interesting I fear the conversation has run its course. Indeed, we not week yet another topic to set out idle minds upon. To dissect another more palatable issue."

*Quavinir eyes Kanlenz, and chuckles at the mention of the predicament with Oren*

Oren at against malinor, bah! personaly, i saw eet coming, eet vas eenevitable! a Nation of pure, strong, peaceful long-living beings, being een harmony veeth a nation of drunkards, shlummies, war-mongering, eediots? no vay, and as for zee queen, she's a complete lunateec! going to var because some elves keeled her family, i say pure stupeedity!

"To think lowly of those who oppose you mean you will be brought lower. Consider that before you make rash calls, for rash begot rash, and the world will be blinded by ill-laid plans." The voice simmered from the crowd of watchers, soft and carefully controlled tone that seemed to have a hint of icy coldness to it. Yet the speaker did show upon himself as the hems of his robes whipped against the soft winds as the light of the flames begun to light up the blue of the figure. It was a familiar figure for some, and an usual one for most, for while the man's choice of garement was a fine blue robe with golden stripes down the front and around the waist, it was the hair that he had.

Like the ocean itself, his hair had a deep blue coloring to it, and the length itself could have easily reached his waistline if he had been standing still. His eyes were piercing and watchful, seeming settled on the one who had spoken so ill of the humans, but his reason for the sight was not of concern or care for the humans themselves. He was almost watching the man as one would watch an interesting outtake, before again he stopped, his bangs whipping in front of his piercing blue eyes as he spoke again. "Life can be cut short, by the blade or by the curse in the case of humans...No creature can sustain life with a blade through it's heart, and the queen's rash decisions, can forgo the best of plans. Action can beat indecisiveness, and indecisiveness can plan for the future."

His tone was questioning, and his heritage itself was hard to pick upon, his ears were hidden behind his long blue hair, though he did lack the extreme height of elves, resting at only six feet even. Though he could note himself his own wife was shorter then him, and she was pure elven. "Though another topic...You seek, I wonder if all is truly as vested into another topic as well." He humored himself quietly as he let his eyes once again settle on everyone, preferring for the time being to stand then sit with everyone, though enough so the light of the fire could reveal him in it's dim light.

*Lafthi walks back up to the still roaring fire after being away for several hours. He nods to Kalenz as well as the others as he takes a seat on the log that he had occupied just a few short hours before. Some might notice that he had changed into a new set of robes since he had been away and had moved his log a bit closer to the fire, into a range a bit close for comfort, given the heat of the flames. However, Lafthi stares into the fire once again, content to listen and catch up on the conversation.*

*Eyes Meta and his sudden appearance and short speech with a belittling gaze.*

"Ah! So the blue haired mali has decided to speak."

*Kalenz speaks in a mocking tone*

"Let me remind myself of who you are, hmm? You call for an avoidance of what you call racism. To avoid rash decision. A curious sentiment coming from an elf who lives amongst humans. Who is as vile and violent as valah themselves.

Perhaps it is not your place to question the actions of the mali who live upon the mali'nor but rather a far better choice for you to return to the valah'nor where you may continue your lowly life of violence, no? You must be as young as a valah to have such lowly opinions. You even sound like one!"

*Kalenz gestures outwards.*

"Go live as one."

Smiles as he looks at the high elf, having been use to their rather brash mannerism, methods of training no doubt. Short-sighted, but not without it's perks. His thoughts were not betrayed by his gaze, as the simplest of blinks swept his stonic face as he was being told by the elf of who he was, almost smiling at the fact that he was being indulged in a rare past time of his that he hadn't had in many years. "How you view my words is how the humans view the situation, two eyes see the same art with different appreciation. I say nothing of how you view them, only to understand the potential abilities of those who oppose you." His tone was inquistive, almost questioning as he stared at the man's choice of words, noting the vileness of his speech to those underneath him, nothing unusual.

"Ahhh, so you assume violence is my path? Balance is not achieved by seeking the extremes, you must choose both action and patience, wait and see. The situation you are in requires action, to wait is to die is it not?" Ending his statement with a soft turn, allowing his hand to point in the same direction as Kalenz, his palm facing towards the heavens with a tired like approach. "To live among the land, but not among the man of Oren. I do not regret that I do not count myself among them, so you are incorrect on that." Noting again the man's mocking tone he much perferred to banter with them then to respond to their ill-bigoted tone. "To seek the knowledge beneath the tone, is to see the source beyond the light."

"The situation which the mali have found themselves in does not require the attention of a mali who lives within the valah'nor. As for assumption, I need not do such as I have observed you and your behavior. Well trained with a sword I do admit but valah-like none the less. I suppose one can not expect you to be capable of engaging in such intelligent banter while having such a skill. No doubt you have had little time to educate yourself.

As a mali in the valah'nor they may see you wise but here you are young and undereducated. Because you find your home amongst valah, I will suggest once more you return there. Such conversations as this are not for those of your inferior ilk."

*Quavinir sits down and warms his hands by the fire, saying nothing, waiting for the coversation between Meta and Kalenz to end, for he had no place in what they were debating, inspecting the two elves Kalenz. and Meta, Quavinir wondered which one was going to win this small debate, one a highly pure bred elf, purest among the elves, and a blue haired elf living among Vahlah...*
