Having the server taken down.

Tythus has one I believe.

Well someone does anyway, because a while ago lots of people were setting up servers with the last Aegis map for people that wanted to see Aegis again, and people that joined after Aegis and wanted to see what it was like

I don't know what you other guys think, but this is just annoying. I had a great time with that server, even though there were a few brawling wandering souls from time to time. Just because of a little disorganization, you choose to throw us into the volcano, and shut down the server? I don't really know what you guys experienced, yet I had the thrill of my life. Building colonies, resisting against monsters with my dwarven brethren, and figthing the Teutons. Not once did I observe "bad" roleplay, as in no roleplay. To completely shut down the server because a small part of the playerbase were brawling, or building, or whatever, is just wrong. Instead of just shutting it down, how about you punish the ones who are doing wrong, instead of punishing the rest?

I get it though. The wandering souls should not have been permitted in the first place. So let's just get rid of them, and move on with the great experience 'most of us' had on the map, unless you can get the actual map up and running, or at least tell us what's wrong with it, instead of holding such back from the community. We've had countless of threads regarding information being held back by the staff, and I honestly thought we were through it. I guess not.

Personally, I had fun with the villages and all. If the land wasn't so permed, it would have been a bit better. Also, when people complain about being No-RPed, that's almost definitely the wandering souls who had no idea this was an RP map even with me screaming at the ones who were PVPing and trying to explain the server. So Liri's idea of getting rid of the Wandering Souls is probably the best idea. For the people that didn't like it, you don't exactly have to go back and play it again, even when it's more organized. And you guys were also the ones complaining for the temp map to go up.

With the idea of "stop working so hard on a temp map and work on the old one", I'm not sure on this, but it looks like the tech team is split almost half and half, and when the temp server goes up, those techies that worked on the temp server can just go right back to working on the main.

Honestly, if you're given something, don't just flat out say it's absolute garbage. Just leave if you don't like it and wait for the regular map to come back up.

EDIT: This server was for our benefit. It was so we had something to while the server was being worked on. Why should we complain if things didn't go so well or if the server got shut down?

Oh, and I did find Alantopia, nppeck. It was better than a bunch of cobblestone mines.

Same here dude, but this is for the greater good, remember that not everyone was as lucky as me and you, some people were just shelter-less and lonely, and had no rp fun.

I think the main problems were

1. Wandering Souls

2. Non-Wandering Souls who were looking for a trolly time

3. The major perming of alot of the island.

Besides that, it was great.

It was pretty fun, I just wish the buildings were a little bigger.

What this guy said. Me and the rest of the teutonic order had a blast. We came into the server with the intent to start a small kingdom and burn heretics, which was ruined after some GM had his fun spawning zombies and spiders everywhere, chasing the peasants off. After that we decided to conquer the peasant/dwarven nation instead of getting them to move back. Loadsafun sieging your base, sadly some guys got caught in the crossfire.

Got caught in the crossfire but luckily enough one of your fellow warriors was kind enough to tell the rest to back off

All jokes aside, one of the best things you've done, Liri. Good job.

Next on the agenda, the ***** smacking of bad GM's.
