I have known quite a few people in house stafyr and seen them around in my time in LOTC, I feel like i would be a good fit in this family.

I've been looking for a house to play with and Stafyr seemed the perfect fit, after reading through the lore I became interested and wanted to know more.

Melina is a short slightly chubby girl who adores the fine arts, such as writing, painting, poetry and music. She is very shy and is happy to learn new things.  She would not attack someone unless they attack her first, and then she'd probably try to talk it out. She wishes to become skilled in the medical sciences, she usually has a book clutched to her chest and she is almost never caught holding a weapon.  She has brown shoulder length hair  and grey eyes with a hint of teal in them, she speaks slowly in a soft voice. She is very mannered  and very stern she hardly makes any jokes.

Jack was the only born son of Wolf Stayfr and Nemira Altsteet. Jack was singley raised by his father, as his mother tragically passed during Jacks birth. Jack lived a peaceful and idilic childhood, as his father and his family were exempt to taxes due to there high position in the nation of Oren. Though when he reached the age of 19, his father passed due to natural causes.

 

From then on, Jack became lived a noble lifestyle along with the rest of his family. When he was 27 years old, he wedded a woman by the name of Gisela Oeria and had a child. A son by the name of Erich Stayfr. He fathered Erich for the next 19 years, until Erich went out, wedded a woman and bore offspring. During this time, Jacks wife Gisela sadly passed due to illness

 

Nowadays, a 53 year old Jack is often seen in high class cities such as Kingston and Abreesi. He still keeps much contact with other family members, and lives a peaceful, noble life.

Occasional background story: Being an only child growing up in a wealthy family braen was spoilt rotten. he was used to getting what he wanted when he wanted never considering anyone but himself, he never really had many friends growing up due to his often loud and selfish nature causing him to withdraw from the outside world convincing himself the people he needed where himself and his parents. this worked for him for a number of years he stayed away from the world and withdrew into the affection and gifts of his aging parents allowing him to stay as selfish and egostiscal as ever until however at the age of 20 his parents died. His world was turned on its head and he was suddenly thrust into a world he knew nothing about.

 

At first he tried to re-enter society attending social events, partys etc.. but to no avail as his attitude to other people had not changed since he was a child. this caused him to fall into a deep depression where his only escape was that of the vices of this world, he became a compulsive gambler and alcoholic and often sought refuge in the company of harlots. until in his early 30's after yet another night of hedonism and gambling, he relised in a moment of clarity what his life was like, he was alone and getting old and he saw no other way out he attempted to take his own life. he climbed atop his parents manor and jumped... as he was falling something happend he will never forget, something that changed him forever. admist his fall a invisable force stopped him, holding him in the air just above the ground and just before he blacked out he saw something. He saw what he belived to be A man in brown robes arms pointed to where he was holding him there.

 

He woke up on the steps of his manor the next day confused but a changed man, he assumed the man he saw was an patron sent from the creator himself, proof he could still redeem himself. he trashed his alcohol and stopped gambling choosing to give money to the poor instead and became deeply religous living by a very strict set of rules. he began to go out more often and changed his selfish, egotistical and arrogant nature becoming more kind and polite. for the first time in his life he was truly happy, but something was missing. he couldnt help thinking about the man he saw before he passed out, was he an angel like he previously thought? or something else. Someone else. He overheard some people talking about some mystical force called the void and how some people with the right knowledge and training could control parts of it giving them other worldly powers. He became deeply interested in this "Magic" and relised maybe  it wasnt devine intervention that saved him that night but a man with the power to help him. he then moved away from the religion he found seldom in and moved towards books and research to help him learn more about this force hoping someday to use it to help people like the man he thought gave him a second chance.

 

Now 35 Braen has had more contact with his more immediate family and the rest of the house and hopes to learn evocational magic, a changed man he hopes to start his own family soon and live the rest of his life peacefully and happy. Brean isnt violent and with his new beliefs and personal doctorine believes everyone deserves a fair second chance but will not waste his time with those who refuse to change there ways but will always help those who do. a naturally tall and large man he has no real combat expirience but will fight if pushed to. in reality it probably wasnt magic or the gods that saved him that day but the luck of drunk. Somewhere in his mind braen knows this but refuses to acknowledge it as he was desperate to feel wanted in a world that didnt want him. an excuse to change his ways was all he needed that day, but in the end its often the lie that saves people.

Occasional background story: Godwein Stafyr the second was born into the House Stafyr as the son of Leana Stafyr and Edmond Bruswick. He's a descendant of Hanethor the First. Though he's only 14 years old he behaves like he's 20, having respect for older family members. He spends most of his time sparring in the courtyard with his sword.((Kinda short because I like to develop my character without the limitations that a long backstory would have. Though I can make a proper backstory if you want me too.))

Actually, this character is closed for now. I play Godwein II's mother Leana and myself and LeRenardNoir (Edmond Brunswick, the father) are privately looking for someone to play him. I was not informed that Godwein II was listed on this thread and I apologise for any inconvenience.

EDIT: Also worthy of note is that Godwein II is currently 1 1/2 years old and will only open up at around 3 or 4. I personally abhor the practice of age-jumping characters and as such this age is non-negotiable.
