If Knox/Perfectionist haven't crossed the line with graphic violence, then what is the line? Just alluding to movies in real life is not effective, nor does it accurately portray exactly what we are supposed to refrain from. I'd like clarification on this so I know I don't break any rules. Having a villainous group that is based primarily on skinning people alive - this does not bode well - and I want to make sure none of my guys get in trouble.

I have a question about he violence and gore part. I used to do things like this:

*Jistuma slowly reaches with the shears near the eyes, turning the tip a few times in front of it. He toches the eye with the tip drags it under the eyelid. Grins as only a little bit of blood escapes the eyelid and runs down the face. Jistuma can spot the red tear that flows from his victim as the claw of the shears places itself on the other side of the eye. The pain would be umberable as the eye is removed, a noise equal to that of tearing ducktape muffled by the screams of anguish. The eye still connected with the brain by the cord lets the victim still see from it, and not being able to stop seeing or controlling the action of the eye would be a fear to last a lifetime. Jistuma stops for a bit observing the cord leding to the brain by towards the eye socket, filling with blood, the eyelid closing and oppening rapitly as the victim tries to stop seeing from that eye, never able to. He turns the eye, making it face the person, carefully as to not damage the cord, and makes him see himself with an empty eye socket.* "So lad, enjoy yer new look? Do not worry, we ain't done yet"

Would that breach the new rules?

I don't remember Boiendl being banned for hosting brothels. All they did was fade to black. It wasn't a big deal.

Well newsflash. I've been here almost a year and nothing has been posted about Brothels and prostitution, only cybering.

Exactly, the only rule I ever actually saw was no cybering and people were fine with it. And yes blunder, they are usually empty but when they do have people (such as if someone built one with active "workers"" in a big city) then they can be extremely entertaining and as long as the people who are using them and working in them follow the rules.

You know, I'm going to have to agree with one part that Blundermore stated.

In theory, the limit on the detail that one could put with torture roleplay has NOT changed.

Let's just throw out there that for example, Knox's roleplay is the most detailed and violent on the server. This being said, Danny clearly stated multiple times that none of our current roleplayers breach this limit.

Now, Knox's roleplay is some of the best I've seen as it's very detailed and complex. Guess what? His roleplay isn't being chopped down by any measure, so neither should any of yours.

It isn't needed and quite frankly it is really sad and disgusting that people think it is entertainment. Even worse still is that some people go into skype chats and well... Let's just say that I feel like chucking a bit thinking about it.

We don't need fade to black, we dont need cybering. If you want a child you just rp one day having one the day after you would have it. Then rp it from then on. Easy as and doesn't detract from role-play.
