I like the idea of the map, yet the No Rp PvP is something that I do not wish to happen.

I can't imagine this would work out too well. If you're looking for some sort of "danger", I don't believe this would achieve that effect, genuinely. It'll feel more artificial than anything. Overly paranoid players and trigger happy characters are going to find every excuse to let the arrows fly, and it will be difficult for people to deal with that. Kind of like DayZ. Interesting on paper, but more often than not, the logic sort of falls away due to how players "play". 

The forums will then explode with people discussing this very thing, and will then get shouted at for going to the badlands and complaining about it. OOC passions will flare for a while.

I like that items won't drop, though. While killing in and of itself is generally incentive enough for the people that would typically engage in this sort of thing, not being able to directly take the items could indirectly lead to roleplay. I still don't like the idea, but I can see someone firing off an arrow as a warning shot, demanding their target disarm, come up from behind, and demand whatever it is they need. That said, I'm sure there will just be plenty of mindless killing, and it will feel pretty disruptive and unnecessary to the dead.

So rather than have a central island with No-RP killing allowed, you are all ok with us simply removing VA rules there instead? As mentioned in the OP, either way there will still be lore regarding it. This is a change that can easily be made.

Yes, Sand Demons don't really care about bandits.

So rather than have a central island with No-RP killing allowed, you are all ok with us simply removing VA rules there instead? As mentioned in the OP, either way there will still be lore regarding it. This is a change that can easily be made.

I'd like that. The idea would be that the curse would make even White Knights go evil and stuff.
