Ok... What time is this happening in Australia? If I am UTC + 11 (EDT) (Daylight savings time) Would it be 10pm on Sunday? D:

Just speaking realistically here for a second, but there shouldn't be ANY major cities for the races when we first arrive. If you think about it it makes no RP-sense. I mean the fact that there may be some ancient structures or bases for the antagonists makes sense, but the fact that we arrive at this new destination having never been here before, and then suddenly we discover perfectly built and well maintained cities? It is not logical.

In my opinion there shouldn't really be ANY cities for the races. If there had to be something then the max that should be done is ancient and completely ruined old towns and cities. These would probably have been from a few hundred, if not more than a thousand years ago, so the wood would be all decayed, walls would have fallen over in spots, and buildings would be crumbled to the ground. The architectural design would also be very basic, as the ancient people who lived there long long ago would have had much less knowledge of math and whatnot to build any intricate structures.

This is just my opinion as I have not seen any lore for these cities or why they would be there.

Settlers were sent ahead in RP.

Yes but you would have to send dozens, if not hundreds, or settlers of each races, and you would of had to of sent them decades ago to actually have it be RPly realistic in any way.

^^^^

Seems like the whole prebuilt thing was laziness on the nation leader's part.

We sacrifice realism so we don't make the same mistake of Asulon.

No. It was avoiding weeks of stagnant RP when everyone is expected to help build cities with no clear functional plan nor time to pay attention to detail.

Or it's to give you a place to RP instead of weeks of building while constantly dying from mobs.  Causing Asulon 2.0 start up.  Now we can have a foothold to actually enjoy ourselves in a /game/ instead of making it seem like a job.

Yes well, be that as it may, for about two dozen settlers, of one race, to construct an entire city, it would take several decades. I'm just pointing this out because it is not in any way possible unless they were all powerful telekinetics, in which cases they could build the city with their minds.

It would be more realistic if they had the city somewhat built, but as the ships arrived from Asulon, they brought supplies enough to finish the cities in a few months/years.
