We chose the time as 11PM GMT because that is most definately GMT friendly, especially when it's on a Saturday.

It is for people who are able to play LotC into the early hours of the morning...

It's on a Saturday. If the time were set in the American morning, then it should hit the European afternoon and Australian evening.

11PM GMT is sure as hell not European friendly. Especially if they go GMT+1 or GMT+2. No normal person is going to login this late.

It isn't gmt friendly. For a lot of people Saturdays are evenings you go out to spend time with friends or you just don't say up till midnight. (Gmt+1-2-3/4/5...)

It suits the us and a small portion of gmt and European players who decide to stay up late during their weekends.

In that case, wouldn't it have been a better idea if we had a poll presenting several times?

Somewhere around 7-8PM GMT seems a lot more reasonable, seeing as that way most Europeans (GMT +1/2) will be able to play in the evening and the Americans will have it somewhere in the afternoon. The Australians will unfortunatly miss the main event, but still be able to play 2 or 3 hours after the main launch of 3.0, meaning they'll still be able to enjoy most of the RP.

9am for Australians, hey? That's normally a couple of hours after I go to sleep... <_<

We'll see.

I don't mean to be a brat, but 11pm is just a little late. I mean, yes, I can stay up that late quite easily and I will, but many GMT players can't. Anyways, if its in the weekend, surely it could earlier for American players?

I do support this idea. I am in the GMT+1 timezone, which means the event will be at midnight for me. Counting an event would take about 1-2 hours that would mean that it would end around 2:00 AM sunday, which in my opinion is a bit late.
