A Demand Of Reform

Xerxes finally pulls a poster off of a tree after several failed attempts of leaping to grab it. He reads it slowly to himself, having incredible difficulty making out the words. Finally, he gives up and asks a passerby to read it to him. The passerby does as he is asked and when it is read, Xerxes erupts into laughter.

Reading the poster and over hearing the man speak, Rhazev explodes into a fit of laughter aimed at Aldeon. Wiping tears of laughter away, he shouts after Aldeon;

"Don't be an idiot! This High Council are about as good as Bravepaw's were!"

Ebs studies the poster briefly, grins slightly, goes and finds a pen and quill, and begins to write letters.

Reads the poster carefully nodding softly with a small grin on her face "they are right... malinor has gone down very fast... they need a new spirit to lead the nation and get everything back in a straight line... and this time not one of thos bloody high elves..."

Bili Hollowmead, having passed through Malinor on his journey to find his lost wife, Roxanne, runs across one of the posters. No Elves seem to be around, and an odd silence gathers around the grove of trees Bili stands in. Seeing as the night has fallen, and he cannot read in the dark, he lifts a nearby torch from a nearby post. His hound, Barley, curls up next to Bili's hairy feet as the Hobbit reads the poster. While reading this, Bili's thoughts travel to the tales of his father, who spent several years of his life working in Elandriel.

A sour expression grows on Bili's face as he places the torch back onto the post he had found it on. Bili takes a look at the woods around him, dark and full of toil. They are not the same as they were in Asulon which he was told about from his father, and definitely resembled not the tales of Laurelin he had read about in his childhood. They were not golden woods, full of love and laughter, they were deathly quiet, overpowering and frightening to look at. After fear clenches at his heart, Bili quickly patters away.

As he wanders off, away from the dark woods, a few thoughts escape Bili's lips.

"This ain't like Elves at all... Something not good is at work 'ere. This ain't nothin' like the stories I've read, this is dark magic!"

Looks around for people and quickly rips down one of the many letters then stuffs it into his pocket saying aloud;

"Best to rip this down before the endless horde of Sentinel's and brainwashed Elves come down upon them. This way I can read it out at the main gates!"

He wanders off whistling a jaunty tune to himself, a spring in his step.

Cinder stares at the note for a long moment, he knew rather simply the state Malinor was in. He also knew his allegiance to it, to his own death. It was his homeland, and Koylat and company had soured the memory of Elandriel, and Laurilen with their fascist and communist regime, he takes the small bit of charcoal held to his neck. Putting it to the paper, sighing, and writing thusly.

"Absolute truth, right there. *An arrow points at the page*. Koylat has ruined our homeland, as his wretched offspring, and colleague's. We need new leadership, we need change. We are so deep in this that the HIGH ELVES  Are our damned leaders. I honestly believe Koylat should be both impeached, and exiled... He did worse of a job then Sythra. A new malinor should rise, a republic, one that is for it's people. One that does not allow corrupt maniacs to rule it, but, of course, my notice will be ripped down and this insanity will continue soon after..

Redinc."

He finnaly reclasps the coal, and shakes his head, tired, and disappointed. He steps from Malinor's gates. not a word after.

*Vanir chuckles at the messages, with an unnaturally wide grin upon his face.  He takes out his quill and another page from his journal, and begins to write a little response.*

Whoever you are, well done.  This should spread the awareness of the wrongdoings.  Things like this, however, will not do anything to the High Prince or his council - they will only agitate the citizenry.  I am not saying it is hopeless - by any means.  However, if you could, send me a letter. I'd like to talk about the actual means of getting this to happen.

-Vanir

*He tacks it up by one of the most prominent posters, and whistles to himself.  He goes to copy the message a few times, just in case it is removed by the government.*

((Send me a forum message if you wish to, Mr. Reform - That way you can remain anonymous and I can still RP corresponding with an unknown entity. Wouldn't make sense for me to send it first))

*Looks at the poster and writes a note*

I am tired of this as well. We have a leader who has been drunk publicly before. I went to work for oren because this is not my home I once loved . Till it changes I won't be back. Let filth roll in filth. I advise many to work in oren.

*a drawing of kolyat with a bottle is here*

It is signed "anonymous"

Seth studies one of those posters inside the capital, he raises an eyebrow before ripping it off, he walks around to find another one outside the capital and takes that one aswell, he goes back to the high elven city and pins up one of those letter, the second one he takes home to read it over once again.

After scanning the notice, Carduin gives a smug smile at the mention of a demand for Kolyat's forced resignation.

"Good riddance to bad rubbish," he thinks aloud. "As they say."

Lucion examines the notice with interest, and reads through the words with meticulous care. After pouring over it a second time, he removes a small sliver of paper from his coat, along with a pen and ink-pot. He quickly scribbles a few words in thick, black, cursive script.

"Demagoguery is the death of logical governance."

*Elhadron Nods to some of the facts but frowns at somethings he doesn't belive is right* "These people have some correct facts, and I do belive that malinor is slowly starting to go down hill, But only will we know in time what will happen, it may be a case of cilvil war or just nothing... But as I have said many times in the past only time will tell and if bad things happen then we as a nation should come together as one and pull through.
