Hero’s Name:

Zephyr

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Background Of Hero (Chronologically and must be at least 1 paragraph long, but no longer than 4 paragraphs):
Zephyr, was born in the city of Laurelin. He lived with his parents like any other elven child would. He enjoyed playing with his bow and dull arrows, or climbing his favorite trees. He was an only child but his friends were like brothers and sisters to him. Zephyr loved his parents, and they loved him. They spent almost every minute of everyday together. Life was great for Zephyr; Until the orcs decided to attack the dwarves. His parents had good friends in Kal'Urguan. On their way to the dwarven capital they were ambushed by a group of Orc bandits. Zephyr's parents refused to give the orcs their child and sacrificed themselves for the survival of their child.
This scarred Zephyr; and he had never felt this kind of pain in his life before. His mind filled with hatred and wished for revenge on the orcs. Wandering around after the incident he was picked up by a group of bandits. They raised him just as they were. Zephyr could feel that he was going down the wrong path, but the bandits were his only family. Zephyr stole from many, he even killed a few, only when his own life was in danger. Eventually he was corrupted by killing over and over again and began seeking more power. He was found by an Inquisitor who tempted him with the power of Iblees. Zephyr's mind began to hurt at this point. He thought of the orcs..and his parents. He couldn't refuse. He wanted to to avenge his parents. He was taken to the inquisitor's alter where Zephyr gave his blood to him. He was soon contacted and began his trials on his path to become one of them. He did awful things. Some things people shouldn't even think about comitting. He soon began to live within the Undead Keep, where he met others that have been corrupted.
The Undead watched over Zephyr..He was almost done all his trials. They made him create torchure rooms within the keep. Zephyr was beginning to regret all he was doing. Seeing all those people suffer just tore Zephyr's heart out. It made him want to jump into the torchure cells and tell them everything would be alright. But he knew it wouldn't. The final straw was pulled when the Undead forced Zephyr to kill a family..Making them watch their loved ones as they suffered. Zephyr felt his own suffering when the orcs ambushed him and his family. Zephyr knew he couldn't forgive himself. He became what he feared most. When he was alone at the keep Zephyr snuck out and ran to safety. He knew no one would take him in. He was known to be a murderer. He went to the one place where everyone was accepted..Haven. Zephyr met a young elf building the large boats who helped him to the church. The young elf left and Zephyr was left alone, only to pray for the best. It seemed he was in there for years..but Sage Arcadius came to his plead for help. Zephyr spoke to the Sage about his actions, and his sins. Sage Arcadius spoke words of wisdom. Of how Zephyr's past actions shouldn't guide his future. And thus he was forgiven of his sins and he became a new warrior.. a new person. Of Aegis.
Zephyr no longer wore a hood over his head. He recieved the forgiveness of the people of Aegis and was once again loved. He began helping people to the best of his ability. Something about it made Zephyr feel happy on the inside. A feeling he hadn't felt since he was with his parents. He knew that this was his rightful place. Helping the people around him. He started visiting the FOA and the Sages in their newly built citadel in the North. Sage Arcadius told Zephyr to visit him in his medititation later; A place where Zephyr has never seen before. They meditated together, which was probably one of the only times Zephyr felt so calm and well rested. Sage Arcadius asked Zephyr, "Do you hear that?". Zephyr listened and replied, "The spider downstairs?", but then heard the whispers. The whispers told him of his blood and how it had an ancient flare. When Zephyr opened his eyes, he held in his hand a Mysterious scroll, and Sage Arcadius smiling at him from across the floor.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Good Deeds (List Several of your good deeds and how they prove you are worthy of becoming ascended):

Zephyr helps the people around him to the best of his abilities. The help he hands out ranges on a large scale. If there was someone who needed to talk, Zephyr would listen to them carefully, or helping someone who was hungry on the road! Zephyr enjoys seeing others smile when he helps them. To giving money to someone who was robbed, or helping someone finish building their home! Most recently, Zephyr stayed behind in the dungeon hidden within the skull helping everyone get to the exit who were lost within the mazes created by the undead. "No man left behind", is what Zephyr kept telling himself within the mazes. He also tries to stop others from making the same mistake he has made, from being infected by the Iblees taint.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Character Flaws:
Zephyr has a couple of flaws. One that is noticed by many people is that he will not stop something that is started until it is finished. He is also a perfectionist which at times is good, but at other times saps him of all his energy. Zephyr still has the memory of the family in the undead keep and cringes everytime he thinks about it. He is still not able to get the crying father, son and mother out of his mind; Almost as if it is a broken record.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Hero’s Specialty (is your hero a warrior, builder, trader; at least 1 paragraph long):

Zephyr enjoys building and is currently helping in the reconstruction of Alras, but he is a warrior at mind and at soul. Ever since he was a child he was raised by his family, and then the bandits, and then the Undead. He learned how to weild his weapons in a proper manner, and how to use the special techniques of swordsmanship such as parrying. Zephyr still enjoys using his bows and arrows more in combat than the sword. Zephyr has helped lead armies to protect Aegis, thinking up plans that would be the most efficient, as to most damage to least casualties.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rationale (what is your characters mindset, why does he go out of his way to help others):
Zephyr's mindset is to try to help others to the best of his ability. Even if the help required, surpasses what he himself can do, Zephyr will still try and help them as much as he can. Zephyr thinks of himself and wishes no one to experience the pain he, himself experienced. Zephyr hopes that the people of Aegis will not make the same mistake that he has; And if they do, Zephyr will stop it nothing to save them from the corruption the Iblees taint has to offer.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

How do you determine right from wrong (At least 1 paragraph):

Zephyr thinks over the situation and tries to see through the eyes of the others. He has committed much wrong in his time, and tries to use his own experience to decide right from wrong, as he also has started committing much right for Aegis. Zephyr also tries to think ahead, of what may happen if one is right, or wrong in his opinion. He thinks of how the situation will play out once the sentence is said.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Reaction to the following situations (At least 1 Paragraph):
1. Cephalus defines ‘justice’ as speaking the truth and paying one's debts. Socrates quickly refutes this account by suggesting that it would be wrong to repay certain debts—for example, to return a borrowed weapon to a friend who is not in his right mind.
In this situation, Zephyr could go both ways, but would lean more toward's Cephalus because he, himself tries to speak the truth at all times, even if it may hurt someone. Also it is important to pay off one's debts to society because society itself, would not run if the citizens did not pay off their own debts. Socrates is also right in Zephyr's opinion, but as an alternative to returning the weapon to the friend who is not in his right mind, you may try to do something else of equal value, such as pay the mina's worth of the weapon, or give them something which could help enjoy life a little more like some fresh baked bread from your own home.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

2. 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them?

There is a lesson given in this statement which is hard to realize at first but then becomes clear. To Zephyr, 'tis nobler to take arms against a sea of trouble, And by opposing end them, because one must stand up and lead the others, to show them it is alright. If one has the courage and bravery within him, the others will help defeat the sea of trouble. And that, in my opinion is one defining characteristic of the Ascended. To show others that if they can do it, so can the warriors of Aegis.

Minecraft User Name: Vardak

Hero’s Name: Vardak Ciantar

Background Of Hero (Chronologically and must be at least 1 paragraph long, but no longer than 4 paragraphs):

Born in Oren, his parents were healers and diplomats, going to the king to tell the nation of an encroaching darkness. They were killed by two bolts of lightning, leaving the child in the hands of humans. I was taught to read talk and write by my caretakers, and the Guards taught me how to hold a blade and defend himself. One night, a swarm of monsters overtook a part of Oren, At age ten, I was the only sober fighter in town, but without blade or armor, I found my way into the barracks and took what I needed to fight. I defended the land, and the guards, embarrassed by what I did, proceeded to torture me, I was alone for a while, bloodied and screaming in pain, When the king and my Swordsman trainer Kukro came to save me. I was taken to the castle to recover, and it took me a while to do so. Three years passed, I was fully recovered and ready to try to hold my blade against my old mentor. A sudden cry of screaming humans woke me up instantly, Me and my trainer went to their aid, the guards looked on as we fought the monsters without hesitation. At thirteen years old, I had fought more monsters then I could handle.... And then "It" came, It blasted the monsters with fire. I collapsed as well, my body beaten by the fire and the monsters. I woke up. the monsters dead, and my body covered in blood. I turned my head and saw it.... Kukro... Was blown away by the blast. and he had protected me with his life. I passed out in shock, 4 years passed.... I woke up again in the keep, the king sitting next to me, He was worried about me, Told me that I should learn more about being a swordsman, to hold Kukro in my heart... I cried, but I understood. Kukro made the ultimate sacrifice, and I mustn't allow his sacrifice to go in vain. I trained for 4 years, the king watching on had finally told me that I was ready, that he wanted me to seek out the Orcs of Sanjezal to learn more of my race's culture. I made my way to the Orcs, and my journey across Aegis began.

My first five days in the orcish nation was filled with excitement, They all greeted me warmly and gave me a weapon, invited me to hunt, which I did. The Dominus known as Bein'lur was told of my abilities, and he talked with me about my life, about all I had been through. How I had to find a path that would lead me to the truth. I didn't understand completely, but I nodded my head and told him I'd be ready for anything. Then it happened. On the fifth day I met a Rebel leader by the name of Ben Powell, he invited me in and heard out my story, then he informed me that King Perea was dead. My heart sank... I had lost another great friend... I decided to "help" Ben Powell by seeking out Allies. Not for their cause, but for Oren's I couldn't believe the stories told by Ben Powell. He said many cryptic things and laughed like a crazy man. I went in search for The queen, Dawn Perea for advice, and I got it. She told me to do what I thought was right, and I did, I rallied the Elves, the Orcs and the Oren Guard, Made Ben Powell believe I was helping him by having the Head diplomat of the elves Lafthi come and give his "approval". Time passed, and the Orcs made a move and destroyed the Rebel base. I was a bit mad, but I understood that it was encroaching on their land. We moved to a bigger base, The Bloodveld Fort. To talk action with the elves, I told the people I brought into the rebellion of my plan to stop it, and that they should run and hide. To not be caught up in all of this. The time came to strike, I asked Captain Grimbeard, and the then Seneschal Edmund Sheffield for assistance, They agreed and came with me to confront Ben Powell, After their long chat, they left. I was told that I would be in charge for a while so Ben Powell could rest. Before he could, The Oren guard came in, and killed Ben Powell and crushed the Rebellion. That was the beginning of a long... dark road...

I went to Laurelin, trying to find someone with power to tell them what had happened. I ran into Princess Ariana, a bright young elf, who I brought to the ruins. She told me that the Undead would be attracted to ruins like this and said it would need to be torn down, I took the charge and told her I would do it. I had my sword and my armor, and was ready to take down the rest of the Bloodveld Keep. I saw three hooded figures inside the ruins, all out of their bodies, chanting at what looked like a gateway. I immediately set the ground on fire around them and began to shoot them from a distance, they didn't fight back, and the Staffs they used, which were leaking out raw power flew straight into my body, they exploded... and I passed out. I woke up a day later, and my eyes were a dark red... The three staffs marked my soul.... and I was cursed. I named my eyes The Hunter's Mark, for they gave me sight into the location of the undead. Time passed and as I learned to control the curse, more power came to me, My eyes had now changed into six different colors, Red, Blue, Green, Purple, White, and Silver. I managed to learn control, to use the curse for my own, and to break the mark on my spirit, I had now tasted my first bit of magic. It brought me happiness and sorrow, friendship and enemies.

Good Deeds (List Several of your good deeds and how they prove you are worthy of becoming ascended):

I turned a curse into magic. This shows that no matter how dark the situation, I try to make the best of it and fight my best to turn it into something great for not only me, but for everyone.

I saved Oren from a rebellion, this shows that I am willing to go out of my way to protect anyone who may need it. That I do not discriminate against the natural good races of Aegis.

I found my way back to Aegis in my mortal body. This shows that I am willing to fight even from the Nether to protect a world I hold near and dear to me, that even being on the brink of death couldn't stop me.

I now follow the path to help not only the Ascended, but to help Aeriel. I wish to ally with the Ascended, and gain Aeriels favor, though the latter would be a plus, Helping the ascended is a great honor for me, to be near people who help serve Aeriel is a true honor.

Character Flaws: His eyes, the magic he has can make me a bit weird, for it has a slight pull onto my mentality, never a dangerous pull, but a pull either way. It's brings out his innermost ability to help people, but then again, he regrets having to use it, for it it mentally taxing to do so.

His wanting to help everyone, Being a believer of Aeriel, Vardak believes that no one man is guilty until he admits his guilt, but then he smiles, tells them how they can repent for their actions, and leaves them to their own actions, many don't take kindly to this, and they take advantage of this part of me. I've noticed it. I'm working on trying to not be taken advantage of, but still trying to help people in Aegis

Hero’s Specialty (is your hero a warrior, builder, trader; at least 1 paragraph long): I am a skilled warrior, my deeds are known from the Ascended to even the Undead. I do what I need to survive, if it be to kill animals for nourishment or cows for their hide to protect myself, I keep my blades and my axes with me at all times, to defend myself and others. I take it upon myself to make sure people are happy and that they have what they need. I do not fear anyone, even if it be undead. I have killed many undead in the name of Aeriel, and I plan on doing so for the rest of my natural life.

Rationale (what is your characters mindset, why does he go out of his way to help others):

He hears out people in need, and if he can help, he gives what he can by either joining them or giving them the supplies they need. If it means surpassing all my limitations, I find a way to help, no matter how dark the situation seems. I never leave a person in need unless I am physically unable to do so. I never want to assume people are bad, but I keep it in the back of my head, staying ready to confront them if they turn out to be against me. I never expect to be repaid for my deeds, I do it because I believe it is right to help out, and to not expect payment or something in return.

How do you determine right from wrong (At least 1 paragraph):

I try to put myself in their shoes, I think that a bandit may need the money to help their family or that a man on the side of the road asking for help really needs it. I give both my full attention, and unless provoked by either, I keep an open mind. I try to not provoke anyone I do not wish to make an enemy of. By keeping an open mind, I have made many friends, who also help me when it comes to deciding right from wrong.

Reaction to the following situations (At least 1 Paragraph):

1. Cephalus defines ‘justice’ as speaking the truth and paying one's debts. Socrates quickly refutes this account by suggesting that it would be wrong to repay certain debts—for example, to return a borrowed weapon to a friend who is not in his right mind.

To speak the truth is noble. I agree that the truth must be spoken, even in the eyes of evil. If you fear no one, then speaking the truth comes naturally. Repaying Debts also is a noble act. To assist people who have assisted you, give a euphoric feeling that is indescribable. To return a friend's blade while he is not in the right mind is a bit sketchy, I'd see if I could talk to the person, see if I could make a deal with him, to give him supplies in exchange or to bring him back to his normal state. If I could do the latter, I would return the blade to him, as well as a bit of food, he might be a bit hungry after an experience like that. Both are right in their own way, and both can be taken to thought. If you can do one, and have the other, why not do both? Having both an open mind and a kind soul can go a long way.

2. 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them?

Vardak has overcome many hardships, but in no way has he ended them completely. He has made himself a better Orc because of what has happened to him. To end troubles is to end realization and truth, and there are many truths masked behind the sea of troubles. By learning from them and keeping them close one could become someone better, someone stronger mentally. All in all while it is right to learn from hardship and misfortune, it isn't right to erase it from your mind, because there is always multiple lessons to learn from one.

*Vardak rolls up the scroll, satisfied with what he wrote and puts it away for safekeeping*

Hero Application:

Minecraft User Name:

Agith

Hero’s Name:

Agith Amberlance - The Devout

Background Of Hero (Chronologically and must be at least 1 paragraph long, but no longer than 4 paragraphs):

Agith was born to a somewhat standard family; his mother was a miner, a common occupation to the dwarven race. His father on the other hand was a scholar, and as such he was raised to follow in his footsteps, he was educated in the classification of the paranormal and historical events. Agith, by young age of 20 departed from his modest upbringing to begin his life, seeking knowledge and understanding of the world around him. He began by heading to the dwarven city of Kal'urguan, in search of a large repertoire of books to study from.

Agith instead found himself sitting on the step of a pillar, where he was met by General Stonebeard of the wolverines and convinced that he needed the funds. Agith was recruited into the group and quickly rose through the ranks to become a sergeant by the end of the first week.Very little happened after he was promoted to his rank, and thus Agith went on leave into the dwarven capital to meet a dwarven lore master by the name of Drazdun Silvermein. The two hit it off rather well, Drazdun eventually agreeing to take Agith to the city of Duralsavot. Finally they arrived after a long week of travel and there Agith remained for two weeks aiding in recovery of the once great city.

Two weeks passed quite quickly before Agith began his journey back to the wolverine base. He made camp at the base of an elder tree. Agith writhed as he attempted to sleep...A strange voice keeping him up. He searched through bushes and behind trees...Though he found the source to be beneath the elder tree itself. He thus dug into the tree over the course of three days. There, on the 2nd day he uncovered a small one room temple, inside he found many engravings on the walls of a language lost to the sands of time, along with a blade gleaming in front of a fall of magma. He took up the blade, attempting to leave, a loud screeching sound pulsated through his mind... He fell to his knees unconscious; Agith awoke four hours later and returned to the spot where he found the sword, angrily bashing it in with his hammer. There he found a sheath, interested he was focused and simply walked out of the temple, he blinked...Without questioning it he returned home after packing his things. Nothing occurred until two weeks passed, when a grunt attacked Agith; he was forced to run the man through... The obsidian core of the blade began to glow a deep purple, the blood of the grunt running up through the blade filling in chips, and went up to the tip of the blade, absorbing into the core while the blood crystallized into a new layer of diamond. Agith, shocked attempted many methods to destroy the blade, though to no resolve. He thus began a search for answers on the blade.

Agith began with the druids... They however offered little aid, proclaiming it was an undead blade. With that Agith set off for the undead keep, where he was denied access and knocked unconscious, awakening in the cloud temple...They told him he was lucky to be alive, and pushed him back out into the world after several weeks of rest. Agith was at a loss, he rested in kal'urguan for several weeks before encountering a warden able to aid him...The elf took the dwarf to Haven, proclaiming they could aid him. Much occurred in that inner city which Agith refuses to speak of by any means... He went in with a corrupt sword...Though came out a holy warrior of light... Few know just how this process occurred. Agith was assigned a task to find other warriors of light...And thus he began his perilous journey. It would be forty years of searching before he was near ready to give up. Agith was reminiscing in kal'urguan, when a member of the undead approached him with threats and offers. Agith denied the man and was then attacked... The undead had no intention of killing Agith, using only weak magic to attempt to knock him unconscious... The battle was long, and in the end the undead lay on the ground, Agith's holy blade buried deep in the undead's chest...He took up the staff of the undead... wrapping it in a blessed piece of canvas cloth. He then made his way to oren, and as a guest of king Edmund laid down to rest for the night. Agith awoke standing on the wall of the gates of the Followers of Aerial... Where he was eventually granted a meeting with the ascended on the matter... Blaedr an acolyte for the ascended aided him... Sage Arcadius however seemed less interested in matters and Agith was told by the young acolyte to present the staff to Sage Sue, he in turn was told to have a blood line connection with the ascended, and he now sits on the fountain inside the Follower's encampment, working through the very strange text and riddles unsure of how they will aid him in the so called awakening that Sue mentioned.

Good Deeds (List Several of your good deeds and how they prove you are worthy of becoming ascended):

* Shifts uncomfortably looking at the request though begins to write, the text being somewhat difficult to read *

I aided in cleansing the evil from the sword bestowed upon me from the gods. I feel this shows the strength of resistance to fall to the evil seduction of the blade, I slowly began to die the longer that sword was connected to the obsidian obelisk deep in the nether.

I donated the golden block found in the holy water in the haven chapel, claimed by Martin to be a blessing from Aerial. I feel this act shows my little care and desire that is generally associated with the greed that my race are quite infamous for.

I aided in the defense of snow fields...Though failed this shows bravery, I did not retreat. I awoke in a heap of rubble, and made my way out of the city shamed that I had not died for the cause, and that I failed the citizens of the fields.

I slew the mighty Balin, whom of which attempted to corrupt both myself and the blade, trying to link us back to the obelisk, and tried to turn me to the worship of the false god Iblees.

I did my best in aiding the ascended whenever possible, disregarding those who felt my life with being wasted in aiding them. This shows integrity and a strong faith in both the ascended, and Aerial.

I presented many cursed relics to the ascended for study as well.

I disregarded many insults, refused to kill many a man and stuck to my faith with Aerial under times of low morale. This shows...What I have been told would be defined as wisdom beyond my years and a large tolerance.

* A small note is in the bottom left hand corner, hardly legible* " I wish you didn't make me fill this out... My accomplishments are not something I wished to boast about. "

Character Flaws:

Agith is a dwarf who has in the past succumbed to extreme curiosity. He is a rather stubborn dwarf, not easily bent to a possibly logical route. Agith is at risk to be corrupted by the undead in the sense that when he slays one, they may try to imbue the connection to the obelisk back into the blade, making him rather vulnerable if he falters. Often, Agith will do what he shouldn't and peek around in libraries and other areas that may be off limits again, out of curiosity, he will read books that may not be quite permitted should they intrigue him. Agith also doesn't have what some may call a "Silver tongue" He has trouble with negotiations and would not, at the time being be a good choice for preventing wars between nations. The final flaw to the dwarf is the fact that he will attempt to solve issues alone, not willing to risk the lives of others to aid him in a cause making him very easily outnumbered.

Hero’s Specialty (is your hero a warrior, builder, trader; at least 1 paragraph long):

Agith is a peaceful dwarf at heart wishing misfortune on no one. He is however, proclaimed by the ascended Martin, a Holy warrior of light and as such has taken up the holy blade against the evils of undead. Thus making Agith a warrior, not a trader, or a builder...

Rationale (what is your characters mindset, why does he go out of his way to help others):

Agith goes out of his way to aid others as he was raised to be of aid to those in need. He feels he has obligations by the undead to aid others in any way he can, and will gladly oblige. Agith in short, aids people because he feels he must, and he cares very much for every living, intelligent being in the plane of Aegis.

How do you determine right from wrong (At least 1 paragraph):

Agith will determine right from wrong by placing them into two categories... There is what he calls "Leave them be's" And then there is "Evil." Agith will determine what is evil by considering if it fits one of these specification of the word... THem being 1. Is it bringing bodily harm to that person, or emotional distress. Two, is it related to the undead. Or Three, will it bring on a risk to the citizens of Aegis.

I believe in cause and reaction...If I were to return the weapon to a friend who may easily be brought into an act of violence, I would hold it off until I knew he was able to control his condition be it anger or insanity. However, I also believe in honesty and repaying debts should they present little risk to others. I would not for example, return a staff to a member of the undead, because then they may go and take a life with it. Though in the case of a man in his right mind and with good will, I would present to him the truth, and repay his debt should it also not bring on harm to those around him.

2. 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them?

I believe to claim to be noble is to fall into a category of corruption, Though I believe to take the suffering off the shoulders of others to be honorable, though to simply tolerate the suffering without at least considering a way to prevent further damaged caused by the threat. A peaceful solution is best...Though it is of the one who's suffering's choice of whether or not to tolerate the acts or to fight them... I believe that if the one inducing the suffering is a threat to not only myself, they must be taken care of in some matter...Though if it is only you that is suffering from their acts, it may be best to simply tolerate the issue.

* looks unsteadily at the scroll, sighing as he rolls it up and places it into his bag, looking around for an ascended to pass it on to sue... Though he then takes it out of the pack, and ties it to his dove with a purple lace, and sends the bird off to locate Sue, it knowing his scent.*

Attention! While the Ascended usually do not mention their judgement on the scrolls that are given, we feel it necessary to inform you that Agith and Vardak are currently on heavy probation, if not complete denial. This is due to their actions in the world of Aegis.

((The Ascended will not tolerate any form of powergaming, or abuse of RP events. Next time, don't try and use your scroll as a way to make yourselves better than others. You are no better, and in fact worse. Im sorry to see that are trust was so badly misplaced. I also apologize to Danie, as she shouldn't of had to come and break it up.))

Good Deeds (List Several of your good deeds and how they prove you are worthy of becoming ascended):

1.Saved a wounded Dark Elf whom was struck by undead lightening.

-Remained by his side till he was well enough to talk and walk on his own, then a mage finished the gash across his chest.

2.Healed a High Elf that was stabbed in the chest, even though he was slightly crazy.

-When traveling, came across a Elf with a stomach wound. Even with his fuss and consent loss of consciousness kept at the wound till it was sealed up.

3.Assisted in the removal of a Earthdemon.

-Gave information of the demons location and watched the growth of it's fortress. Gave food and healed during the fight with an Earthdemon, refused to accept any payment or prizes for doing so.

Character Flaws:

Has a slight weakness to judge humans swiftly, but is learning to trust them.

Also is very willing to learn knowledge, a craving to study and expand her mind.

Hero’s Specialty (is your hero a warrior, builder, trader; at least 1 paragraph long):

A healer, her steady hand to stitch any cut or open wound. For that her farming is decent, light footed and sure of her hands. This is were her strength become clear. Were she may be kind and soft to others, the injure beware. Her motherly tone come out and she is determined to make them recover even if she has to drag a grown man kicking and screaming into bed for a table spoon a medication. She almost always has what she needs in a satchel she carried resting on her hip. Also can fight decently with a bow. Being a swift at learning she can read a book rather swiftly, understanding it's contents.

Rationale (what is your characters mindset, why does he/she go out of his/her way to help others):

Everyone deserves to explain themselves. Their words shouldn't fall on deaf ears. Consideration is what needs to be determined. Shoi believes strongly in change in people. They just need someone to believe in them sometimes. She feels that no one should suffer, and that kindness can heal the broken souls. By helping others is rewarding enough then receiving payment. Though some souls can be beyond corruption and cannot be repaired or fixed. They must be dealt with accordingly.

How do you determine right from wrong (At least 1 paragraph):

How an action effects people, may it be funny to one; but harmful to another. Choosing virtues over sins. Such as giving food to the poor and ill, rather then keeping hidden for one's self. How people interact, if someone steals to feed their children, can be taught how to fish or helped. Were someone who steals to be evil and find a laugh of it should be punished.

1A. Praise Cephalus for his correct matter of mind, but Socrates is correct, but could possibly talk to his friend in the state he is in. Or help could be acquired to help the situation. To find a clearer state of mind or to replace the weapons value in another way.

2. 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them?

2A. To speak out, and offer help of the outraged. They may be willing to express their rage. And come to terms with soft words and help. To take a arrow on purpose could be foolish and a purposeless death. Come to agreement or a settlement between the issues. Sometimes a different point of view could make a world of difference.

Hero Application:

Minecraft User Name:ShadowGunX

Hero’s Name:Rilath Ilwindior

Background Of Hero (Chronologically and must be at least 1 paragraph long, but no longer than 4 paragraphs): Rilath was born to a good family with wealth and high status among the elves. For the first 37 years of his life everything was perfect. His father changed all of that. One day Rilath had decided to walk over to his friend Elnir's house to play. They played with bows and arrows, trying to see who was the most accurate shot. They played with stones, comparing the distances of their throws. After Rilath said goodbye to his friend he headed home. He'd pick up a stick every day and drag it across the fence outside his house before throwing it back into the woods, and today was no different. But as he was about to throw it, something made him stop dead in his tracks. A blood-curdling scream that would frighten even the scariest of monsters, coming from inside his house. He silently opened the door making every effort to avoid alerting whoever was inside. As he stepped into the main hall, he saw a trail of blood leading into his mother's room and decided to follow it. When he reached his mother's room, he saw her lifeless body in front of him. Standing above her, covered in blood, was his father. Rilath filled with rage and tackled his father to the ground, knocking the sword from his hand. While his father tried to understand what was happening Rilath took his sword and drove it through his father's heart. He stood, admiring what he had done. It felt good to him and he hungered for more.

He lived in the wilds on his own for 237 years. It was a dark time in his life...He killed many men out of greed and jealousy. He began worshiping Iblees and started to sacrifice his victims to his new master. One day while in AlKhazar he came across a group known as the Black Hand. He wished to become one of them but did not want them to know of his wish. He acted superior to them, which at the time seemed like a good idea. They ganged up on him and he asked to be one of them, hoping it would save his life. To his surprise they agreed and he became an evil not to be trifled with.

Then the day came that changed his life forever. He was in Laurelin, about to cause some trouble, when he met the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. Her name was Shoi. From the first moment he saw her he loved her. A few days had passed and he hadn't seen nor heard from Shoi, so he headed towards Laurelin to find her. On his way there a group of undead necromancers ambushed him and attempted to sacrifice him. They struck him with lightning and believed him to be dead. After they left Rilath got up and limped to Laurelin, not wanting to falter from his journey. When he reached Laurelin the pain was too much to bear and he collapsed on the ground in front of a group of people. Luckily, Shoi had been among the group of people and with the help of Zephyr, carried him into a nearby house for treatment. After he was fully healed the three left to see Alras but Rilath however left early after being mocked by the High King Syrio and his so-called friend Zephyr. He returned to Laurelin and when Shoi had returned he brought her to a private place and proposed to her. She agreed to his proposal and he was overcome with joy. He left his life of evildoing to live out the rest of his days with Shoi.

Good Deeds (List Several of your good deeds and how they prove you are worthy of becoming ascended):

Gave food and minas to people who needed it- Shows that I am a kind and generous person that is not hesitant about helping those in need.

Helped slaves escape from the lair of an Earthdemon- Shows that I put the safety of others before myself.

Defended a human that was being harassed by a group of dwarves- Shows that I can be friendly towards every race.

Character Flaws:

Has a bit of a temper, sometimes impulsive, and keeps grudges.

Hero’s Specialty (is your hero a warrior, builder, trader; at least 1 paragraph long):

Rilath is a capable warrior, having skill with both sword and bow. He learned to fight at a young age, getting in street brawls and fist fights. He used to take sticks and act as if they were swords as a means of practice.

Rationale (what is your characters mindset, why does he go out of his way to help others):

Rilath's reason for helping others is that he has been in many of the same situations himself. He didn't receive help when he was in his times of need and doesn't want to put other people in the same position he was.

How do you determine right from wrong (At least 1 paragraph): I determine right from wrong based on how it makes me feel. If it leaves me feeling guilty, it is generally wrong. Likewise if it makes me feel good about what I did, I accept it as the right thing to do. Of course what I feel is right and wrong may differ from others opinions.

In my opinion both men are correct. You should speak the truth all the time, and you should repay all debts. But if you do happen to borrow a weapon from a friend who is not in his right mind, you should hold onto the weapon until he is mentally stable enough to not harm himself or others around him.

2. 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them?

It is more noble to suffer the slings and arrows. When you take arms against your misfortune it is an easy way out. If you endure the misfortune there is always a chance you will find the light at the end of the tunnel so to speak. ((Love the Shakespeare reference by the way))

Hero Application

Minecraft User Name: Mjolonir

Hero’s Name: Garn Anvilslayer

Background Of Hero (Chronologically and must be at least 1 paragraph long, but no longer than 4 paragraphs):

(( Narrated with the voice of Gimli ))

Me first memories were of followin' me father 'round his forge. Ooh the glow of coal 'an hot iron! I was enchanted, 'an even as a wee boy I had a longing for tha smithy's hammer. Me father would look down on me with proud eyes, knowin' I would eagerly follow in his footsteps. Time eventually rolled around to me tenth nameday, 'an I rose from me slumber ta find me parents sitting 'round tha kitchen table. Ma had tha most beautiful smile on her face, 'an me father looked as though he would explode with excitement. On tha' table was a strange bundle wrapped heavily in brown parchment paper; Now, I was never given a gift before, as namedays in me home weren't really nothin' ta be bothered with. This was different, 'ye see, as I was stepping inta me first day of trainin' under me father. Tha bundle was me first smithy's hammer, 'an I trained with tha' hammer 'til it was an extention of me arm.

I think 'round tha time of me twentieth nameday was when tha' fateful delivery was made to tha human settlement. Horrible mess tha' was. Human soldiers holed up in behind them walls, 'an leavin' all of us, me, me father, 'an tha guards we brought with us, ta fend fer ourselves against tha Undead fodder. Aye, sadly, me father 'an our soldiers, dinna make it, though we cleaved mighty holes inta their ranks! I'd barely lived meself, 'ye see, 'an it took all me strength ta drag me half dead carcass from tha field.

After tha fateful battle, 'an draggin' meself away from it, I hid 'neath a tree in a nearby forest, 'an for a bit me memory goes black. I can recall bein' found by an odd duo, an elf Druid, 'ana orc Shaman. They tended to me wounds after I'd fallen unconscious from blood loss, 'an nursed me back ta health after I'd come to. While I was recoverin' they would ask questions about how I'd gotten meself inta such a state. At first I resisted speakin', as no dwarf in his right mind would tell such things to strangers, but who ever said I had a right mind?

*Garn lets out a hearty guffaw,and gives the interviewer a goodhearted punch on the shoulder.*

Now, these were a good natured sort of folk, mellowed out by chewin' on mushrooms 'er somesuch, so they offered ta go with me back ta me clan 'an warn 'em of the Undead. I agreed to them followin' part way, as I was not about to let a leafy-pants'd elf, or an orc, inta me clan's home. More fer their safety 'ye see, as me clan would react violently to such a sight. There really isn't much ta tell about tha trip, as we weren't all that far off in tha first place, but what I found at tha end of me journey shook me to me very core. Men 'an children were slain in tha streets, women were missin' all together, fire char marks all over tha walls, 'an zombie carcases littered tha ground every which way I looked. I looked for me ma, but she was missing just like all the rest. To this very day I have no idea what happened to them, 'an I doubt the Undead keep their prisoners alive fer very long. I am the last of what was once clan Yur'girn.

*Garn's eyes unfocus for a moment, as if unwillingly revisting old, painful memories. Subtly, he shakes his head as if to clear his thoughts, then continues with his story.*

Before leaving tha remains of me clan I paid a last visit to me father's smithy. I gathered me tools, 'an headed to me house ta get some provisions. I was alone now, 'an it was time fer me ta join tha outside world. I'm just gonna skip over tha sissy goodbyes 'an such. 'Tis not somethin' I be overly fond of talkin' about. I spent many a year wanderin' the lands of our fair Aegis, 'an most of this time I spent improvin' me skills as a smith. Odd jobs here n'there 'ye know. Maybe some ten years ago I found meself in the city of Laurelin, 'an in tha company of another elf. She wasn't so bad, even if she covered herself in leaves 'an lived in a tree. We eventually created a business arrangement ta benefit from me smithin' skills. She would open tha shop, 'an I would supply tha arms 'an armor. A mighty fine business pair we be!

*The interviewer interrupts, and reminds Garn that he hasn't talked about the FOA yet.*

*Garn takes a moment to glare at the interviewer, 'causing him to cower in his seat.*

*Grumbling, Garn continues.* Now then, I joined tha Followers of Aeriel some five years ago,while huntin' in tha north, stalkin' some Undead 'ye see. I came across a grand keep; Curiosity took me, 'an I went ta explore tha place. Now, as far as I knew tha place was empty, not a soul movin' about, 'an suddenly three odd fellows in night gowns surrounded me! What be a dwarf to do when bein' stalked by strange men in pajamas!? One of tha goofy fellows stepped forward, Riizu by name, offerin' me a home in their keep, as a shelter in tha north, while I hunted tha Undead. Before I knew it I bought meself a new home 'an joined the FOA in tha fight against them Undead! It was like bein' swindled by used cart salesmen! Don't get me wrong, I love me job now! I made Major recently, 'an I'm tha head blacksmith! What more could a dwarf ask for?

Good Deeds (List Several of your good deeds and how they prove you are worthy of becoming ascended):

*Garn shifts uncomfortably in his seat* Well, while I don't think any man should go spoutin' off all tha 'good deeds' they done in their life... I suppose I can think up a few.

Tha elf woman I told ye about? she was a Druid, 'an she was a weak little thing. Fer a good long while I was her guardian, I be skilled with me axe y'know, and protected tha Druids if they ever asked for me help. Many a time I guarded that girl when she was out n'about doin' her flower pickin' business.

Lets see here... Oh! There was tha time when tha Earth Demon took tha elf girl prisoner. I did me best to ward tha thing off, but we both got captured in tha end. Let me tell ya, bein' dangled over a pit of lava donna do much fer a man's pride.

I donate much of me time, 'an materials, to tha FOA to keep 'em up n'runnin. As I be their blacksmith I repair their iron weapons 'an armor.

Also, I helped that Reck fellow with cleanin' up tha ground below that giant tree he grew. I think he presented that as a gift to that High Prince Native. He has a decent beard, fer an elf.

Character Flaws:

Me temper tends ta get get away from me sometimes. I think there was a point where me face got so red it matched me beard! Hah!

I be a bit paranoid as well, 'an ye never know when tha shadows in tha alleys be simple shadows these days.

I be as loyal a dwarf as any, but sometimes it gets me ina heap o' trouble. *Garn points at the interviewers parchment roll* That there bit about the lava? Perfect example.

Hero’s Specialty (is your hero a warrior, builder, trader; at least 1 paragraph long):

While it never was me intention ta go about wavin' me axe at folks with their faces fallin' off, or ta be in business with that there elf woman, I be thinkin' I'm a warrior 'an a trader. I love tha fight just as much as I love me anvil, 'an if it was possible fer me ta tear down me enemies while hammering out sheets of iron I'd be likely ta fall over dead n'smilin'! Me lady friend is good with them numbers n'countin' up our profits, so our shop does fine. I be thinkin' of talkin' her inta openin' a shop in tha keep, that way them folks that visit us from tha south have a place ta resupply.

Rationale (what is your characters mindset, why does he go out of his way to help others):

*Garn grumbles a bit and lowers his chin in thought. It almost looks like his mouth has vanished into his beard...*

It be difficult ta explain somethin' like that from me own side of it, though tha best I could say is from what others have told me. I be stubborn, that's for sure. When I get meself set on somethin' it can take tha force of an avalanche ta make me let go. I suppose that be why I get meself in trouble fer not 'backin' off', as I've heard them humans say.

I go out of me way ta help, when I can, 'cause there be little good in tha world compared to tha evil tha seems ta be all over. If a man canna stand up fer what be right n'good, 'an damn tha consequences of it, then what give that man tha right to call himself a man? As fer meself, I refuse ta pass on from this world without bein' able ta say "I spat on evil, 'an made it piss itself!"

*Garn lets out peels of roaring laughter, and smacks the interviewer firmly on the shoulder, knocking the poor man out of his seat. Quickly gaining his composure, Garn helps the poor fellow back into his chair, and hands him the parchment paper that fell to the ground.*

Oh, sorry 'bout that...

How do you determine right from wrong (At least 1 paragraph):

Och! What sorta question be that? Right from wrong? Ya see a man threatnin' another with harsh words comin' from hate, or with a dagger meant fer blood, that be wrong! Ya see a wee child hungry 'an lost in tha street, without no ma 'er da ta protect them, that be wrong! Ya see a young man helpin' an old lady at tha shop, or stoppin ta help a stranger, that be good! I go with me gut when I have ta... what's that word Mai used... oh, 'evaluate' what be goin' on.

*Garn pats his belly, and lets out a hearty chuckle.*

'An me gut rarely be wrong.

*Raising his left eyebrow, Garn fixes the interviewer with a hard stare.*

Are ye messin' with me boy? What be all that funny business comin' outta yer mouth? Are ye speakin' tongues?

*The interviewer quickly apologizes for confusing Garn, and explains the question in a simpler manner.*

That's what ye wanted to know? If I be speakin tha truth 'an if I pay me debts? Pah! O'course I speak tha truth! What be tha point in lyin' to tha people who stand by me side? Makin' up stories be a sure fire way ta get kicked in tha rump later. As fer payin' me debts I always do, though tha whole givin' a weapon to a man who ain't right in tha head is a given. Dun give it ta 'im! If yer gut says 'This be a bad idea.' then it be a bad idea. Someone needs ta rename tha phrase 'common sense' ta 'rare sense'. It always seems ta be lackin'!

2. 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them?

I think ye may want ta explain this one too fella. I get twitchy when I sit still for this long.

*Leaning forward Garn slowly points at his forehead, then, grinning, reaches forward and points at the interviewer's face.*

Twitchy..

*A look of recognition passes over the interviewer's face as Garn leans back in his seat. Quickly, he rattles off a simpler explanation for Garn to understand.*

Ah, so yer askin' a dwarf if he's gonna stand 'an fight or roll over 'an take it? Are ye daft? I BE GARN ANVILSLAYER! I would rather shave me beard off 'an set me arse on fire afore runnin' from a fight!

*Without having noticed, Garn was up on his feet, waving his axe in the air, and bellowing at the poor interviewer. Suddenly, Garn stops his shouting, and, looking a bit abashed, puts away his axe and apologizes.*

I, er, sorry about that. I get away from meself sometimes. Be there anymore questions?

*The interviewer stammers out several "No! No I think we're all set sir!'s" and begins cramming his papers into his satchel. Frantically, the poor man bows his farewell's to Garn, and runs out the door.*

*Garn, without fully realizing why the man left in such a hurry, leaned back in his chair and pondered a bit.*

... Did me breath smell bad?

*Garn put his right hand up in front of his mouth, and gently huffed into it to test his breath. Not smelling anything unusual about it he casually lifts his arms to sniff at his pits.*

Well, I dun smell any worse than normal, musta been somethin' I said.

Hero Application

Minecraft User Name: Maiavel

Hero’s Name: Maiavel

Background Of Hero (Chronologically and must be at least 1 paragraph long, but no longer than 4 paragraphs):

Maiavel lived happily with her family for the first fourhundred and fourtyfour years of her life tending the garden, singing to the flowers, and helping her mother, Ama'aer, with the daily chores. Her father, Ar'rahd, traded carved statues, and other such wares, made from horn and bone. Sadly, Ar'rahd had taken interest in the habit of drinking ale, and usually could be heard causing a scene at the local tavern. It was during one of these ale induced evenings that Ar'rahd decided to insult a group of local hunters; Most of what was said consisted of 'mothers', 'orcs', and several innapropriate actions between the two. These hunters, not being all that partial to elves in the first place, decided the world wouldn't miss this particular elf, especially one so mouthy. Their course of action was simple; Stalk the man back to his home, sneak in under the cover of darkness, and kill him. Now, normally such tactics work out fine, right up until the point where you run into a shrieking woman. None of the hunters even considered that Ar'rahd was married, and in one hunter's haste to silence her, he bashed her skull into the wall. With Maiavel's parents dead, the hunters heaped their bodies against a wall, and left.

During that entire grizzly incident Maiavel was out in the forest gathering herbs, and flowers that only bloom just after sunset, to surprise her mother. She never knew about the hunters, the drunken ramblings of her father, or how terrible the world could become in an instant. After Maiavel's return, and discovery of her parent's fate, she spent five days in mourning. By the sixth she had begun to come to terms with her loss, and emerged from her home to look upon the world. It all seemed so dark, so bleak, yet when she gazed at her mother's garden the sun shone brighter than ever before. The warmth of that light gave her renewed hope, and, with new determination, she set out into the world to begin her new life. In the weeks to follow she would face slavering zombies, rattling skeletons, greusome pigmen, and deadly spiders, and yet she never lost hope. Eventually, after one troublesome encounter with a spider that insisted on hugging her leg, Maiavel found the north gate of Laurelin. Soon after entering the city she met several other elves, and after asking a few of the right questions, she found her way to the Wayward Druid, Respiren. Maiavel had at least a little bit of experience with the care of herbs, and as an elf she had a deep love of nature, so becoming a Druid seemed like the practical course of action. Respiren agreed to take Maiavel under his wing, and for many weeks thereafter she shadowed Respiren to learn his ways.

Over the next nine years Maiavel made a dear friend named Garn Anvilslayer, of whom she later became business partners with, and worked with Respiren, and many other Druids, to restructure and organize the Order. She eventually became their Scribe, and Loremaster, helped grow the Great Druid Tree within their Laurelin grove, and in her final two years within the Order she held the rank of Archdruid. None of these tasks were without their trials, and tribulations, and eventually Maiavel found she could not bear the burden any longer. Seeking the freedom to wander the world, discover new lores and histories, and have proper time to commune with Nature, Maiavel resigned from her post as Archdruid, and set out for the lands of the north.

It was in these fridgid lands that Maiavel stumbled accross the camp of the Followers of Aeriel. Shockingly enough Maiavel's friend, Garn, had enlisted in the F.O.A. some time back, and she had wondered what caused the extended lack of communication. As Maiavel approached the front gates of the encampment she saw a familiar fiery red beard above the porticullis.

"Hail there! May I ask what this place is?"

A gruffy voice sounded out from the shocking red beard. "This be the camp of tha Followers of Aeriel! What be yer business here?"

Maiavel was taken aback by the sudden familiarity in the dwarf's voice. Stepping a little closer to the gate, she tried to get a better look at the face under the iron helm.

"Out of curiosity, good sir, would your name be Garn? Your beard bears a striking resemblance to one named such."

The dwarf kept his arms crossed, and Maiavel could feel his glare bearing down upon her shoulders.

Suddenly, the Dwarf began shouting again, "Mai?? Be that you? Ha! I'm surprised ye managed ta drag yer leafy backside away from that city of yers! Give me a moment, and I'll be lettin' ya in!"

After she entered the camp Maiavel was gruffly embraced by her old friend, and they spent many hours recalling to each other all that had occured while they were apart. For the next several months Maiavel stayed around the encampment, and even bought a home in the Ascended keep nearby, when she received a mysterious scroll from the hooded Sage Sue. Maiavel was found to have the dormant blood of the Aengul, and she was to be tested.

Good Deeds (List Several of your good deeds and how they prove you are worthy of becoming ascended):

While Maiavel has only recently explored part of the world beyond the southern lands of Malinor, she has done whatever she could to assist those around her.

Most recently was her assistance in healing ((passing out soup)) at the battle of Sanjezal.

On several occations Maiavel gave young adventurers in the city sets of armor, and weapons, from her own shop free of charge, with blessings that they fight bravely in defense of Malinor.

On several occations Maiavel has lended her aid to those either growing beautiful trees which grace our lands, or constructing simple homes and shops for the many people of Aegis to benefit from.

Character Flaws:

As with Nature, Maiavel possesses the capabilities of great calm and great wrath, great love and great hate, Order and Choas. She meditates daily, and works diligently to remain in balance. She, and others, see this as a large flaw in her character, though for different reasons.

To others she is confusing, as one moment she will be sweet and demure, and the second someone invokes her ire, she becomes as dangerous as lightning. For this she is often hated, and though it hurts her deeply, she accepts it.

To herself, she feels as though no one truly understands who she is, or what drives her. While she may appear to be overly strict and harsh, she is truly trying to teach a lesson that may benefit the current target of her 'lesson' later. This lack of understanding, she believes, is her own fault, and that she has yet to undestand herself enough to convey this to others.

Hero’s Specialty (is your hero a warrior, builder, trader; at least 1 paragraph long):

For the past fourhundred and fiftytwo years Maiavel has spent almost all of her time growing trees, homes (( Yes, grew. )), farming, fishing, and tending to various gardens and groves. Only in the most recent of months did Maiavel take up the sword, and she has trained diligently for many weeks. Already she is exceptionally skilled with the blade, and wields a fine sword of dwarven make. As of now Maiavel only has one shop open, but already there are plans for a second within the Ascended keep. No mater what vocation Maiavel chooses she has determined to fight for the safety of Aegis, and will do whatever is necessary to see that the world she loves so dearly is cared for. She is a warrior, with many different weapons.

Rationale (what is your characters mindset, why does he go out of his way to help others):

Above all else Maiavel loves Nature, and the powers which created it. She, and the people around her, are the children of Aegis, which are in need of protection from the evil infestation that is Iblees. As she sees it, until Iblees, and his cult of followers, are destroyed the whole of Nature is in danger. If an act as small as gifting a sword to an eger young fighter, or rushing to heal wounded soldiers on the field of battle, can turn the tide of this war, she will do so.

How do you determine right from wrong (At least 1 paragraph):

Questioning, study, analysis, and forming a conclusion, are the mental processes Maiavel goes through when evaluating a situation. If the time presents itself she will ask as many questions as possible, study the whole of information presented to her, analyze the intentions of the parties involved in the situation, and draw her conclusions.

Not all situations are the same, however, and taking the time to sift through mental processes isn't always an option. A fireball coming at one's face? That's very bad, and one should move far, far away. A herd of pigmen running after you? Also very bad, and would consist of running away, or setting up traps to destroy the ugly things. Is there a person being accosted on the road, and seems genuinely frightened of the people around him? Well, there's also two options here; Keep your distance and see what happens, as not all people have the fortitude to face down several strangers, or wield your blade with honor in the defense of the harassed man.

What are your characters views on the following statements (At least 1 Paragraph):

1. Cephalus defines ‘justice’ as speaking the truth and paying one's debts. Socrates quickly refutes this account by suggesting that it would be wrong to repay certain debts—for example, to return a borrowed weapon to a friend who is not in his right mind.

One should always follow the path of virtue, and truth, as this is the road far less travelled. Be honest with those around you, return what needs returning, speak truth when it needs hearing, and always know you have done what few have attempted. If the world were perfect none would need be concerned with their fellows doing harm unto themselves, or harm unto others, but that is the unfortunate way of things. There are times when we need protection, even from ourselves, and it is the duty of all goodly beings to provide that protection.

2. 'Tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune, or to take arms against a sea of troubles, and by opposing, end them?

Stand your ground and fight back the darkness, lest you consume yourself with doubts, and be taken by the inner demons of your soul for all eternity. While many value the bravery, and strength, of the warriors who stand against evil, few understand the purpose of a tactial retreat. Not all ground may be kept, and there are times when such a retreat portends a greater trap for the foolish who eagerly take advantage.

These are the four words that governed Freya's entire existence for the majority of her life in the North. Any time that was not spent ensuring her own survival was used up helping others assure their own. However, Freya's life was not lonely, or unhappy. Not one bit.

Whilst the frivolous politicians of the south lived in comfort, waited on hand and foot by under-payed and over-worked servants,complaining about things so petty they shall not be mentioned here, Freya lived with her family on the ice-sheets of the north, fending against the simple, brutal might of nature. She did not have time for petty squabbles or rows. Everyone had to work together to see the Dawn of the next day.

However, once the Undead came, Freya was alone. Her family had fought so bravely against the Undead, but she had not been there to help them. She cursed every moment of her own existence, knowing that she had failed them when it really mattered, when she could've turned the tide. She would not forgive herself. When her family had been fighting, so very valiantly, dieing and churning the snow into a crimson tide against the Undead in the Tundra, she had been elsewhere.

Helping someone - a man whom she had found, near death in a snowdrift. He said he'd forgotten his memory. Freya, loyal and trusting as she was, had believed him, and had nursed back to health. She saw herself mirrored in his eyes, knowing she had found someone who would fill the aching chasm in her soul that the loss of her family had carved out.

She had not seen the corruption that had constricted his heart in it's icy grip. She had not seen the black lies pouring forth from his forked and serpentine tongue. All she had seen was the poor man's face, begging for help as he pumped his lifeblood into the snow.

She did not see the dagger in his hand until too late.

When she awoke, she was alone. For the first time ever, she walked the ice-sheets without the merry singing and laughing of her family to accompany her. She walked onward, to who knows where, until her hair was rimed with frost, and her lips blue with cold.

When she fell, she was alone. That was, until they found her.

But that is a story for another day.

Good Deeds (List Several of your good deeds and how they prove you are worthy of becoming ascended):

Well, i wouldn't say anything would make me worthy of being a Ascended. But that is not for me to decide.

I have healed many through the power of hope, friendship, and trust.

In a way, i have touched the hearts of many in Aegis - intentionally or not.

For the Better, i hope.

I have always upheld the law, always seeking for the betterment of myself and others.

I've saved many people from the brink of the chasm of death.

Vardak. Aedan. Many others. They may only be words on a page to some. But words are very powerful in the right hands.

I've given away freely to others even when it may cause a disadvantage to myself. After all, when the Aengul calls, what will we be able to take with us to the Master's side? Nothing, that's what. That is why you should make the most of what you have by helping others freely.

I've fought Undead my whole life, not out of hate or out of lust or greed for power within my people, but because if i do not kill them first, they will kill us later.

I've fought them in Alstion. Snowy Fields. Al'khazaar. San'har. I even fight them in my own memory and mind, where they seek to undermine the fortress of justice and hope i have erected proudly. But they will not prevail.

Not against me, Not against Aegis. Not ever.

I have also lent my hands, heart, and mind to others, in the rebuilding and fortification of our lands. I have stood tall where others have cowered out of fear or hate, emboldening and empowering the men by my side. What men, it does not matter. As long as they stand against the corruption and defiling of the Undead, they are friends of mine.

I cannot list all of the deeds i have done, even if my memory served me completely. Not out of wish to be repayed, or honoured for what i have done. Simply because i can.

As a man i knew once told me so truthfully;

"Success is never final. Failure is never fatal. It is courage that counts."

And it is Courage i uphold above all else.

Character Flaws:

Freya's mortal flaw is that she is too loyal and trusting. She will follow her friends and allies anywhere, even to the heart of the Nether and back.

She will give freely, even if it will affect herself negatively. She thinks she is worth less than everyone else, because of how she failed when it really matters. She's never recovered since.

She also will not lie, thinking that doing so is to lie to yourself, to your soul, to who you are as a person.

Hero’s Specialty (is your hero a warrior, builder, trader; at least 1 paragraph long):

Freya has always been a warrior. She does not fight out of rage or hatred, or to see the life drain from her opponent's eyes, but simply because she is able to. She defends her friends and allies with her life, lifting her blade where others would falter or turn aside.

She upholds honour, and her blade, with righteous fury and a unfaltering will. She will never surrender, not even after the final horns have fallen silent. She will fight on alone, until she is beaten. Even then, she will fight them until she arrives at the Aengul's side.

Rationale (what is your characters mindset, why does she goes out of her way to help others):

Freya does not "Do good" because she wants a reward. She simply does good because her heart still pumps in her chest. It is as natural to her as breathing, if not more so. Because even when she gives her final breath, she will still be fighting for truth. The right side. And she would die happy knowing she upheld that until she drew breath no more.

How do you determine right from wrong (At least 1 paragraph):

In Freya's mind, there is no right and wrong. Those are opinions, as solid as a rain-quenched quagmire. Truth is better than right or wrong. Truth is truth, no matter who listens to it or tells it.

Freya replies;

"Cephalus is correct, in theory. However, would not paying one's debts in this case cause equal, if not more injustice? I nod my head to Cephalus for his open mind although rather naive view on the world. Although,not everything that is "just" is right and good. Sometimes you must cause a injustice at first in order to prevent further suffering later."

2. 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them?

I reply;

"It does not matter what is noble in the mind. A madman could have noble deeds in his mind yet cause unmentionable suffering in the world. All that matters is that the outcome you get is as close to the best as you could hope for."

((I am considering changing my name. If I get accepted, and I become part of Okonkwo's Sect, Chances are I will rename my character 'Elm'.))

Glow opens up the scroll, and looking down at it, he absorbs the words.

His eyes widen when he sees what this is, and he picks up his quill and starts writing in his words...

Minecraft User Name: SimplePancake

Hero’s Name: Glow

Background Of Hero (Chronologically and must be at least 1 paragraph long, but no longer than 4 paragraphs):

Glow was born as a healthy young elf, and was playful and happy as anyone else. He found interest in nature, and was considering joining the druids at a very young age of 7. He was studying the ways of nature, when at 10 years of age his mother suddenly died. She was struck down in a fight with the undead, as she herself was a druid, and a very good healer. Once his mother was tragically taken from his life, his dad was filled with grief. His dad was once a Warden, but after the sad death, he was no longer fit to do the deeds as a Warden.

At the age of 14, Glow began to realize that, even though he was a good elf, he wanted to make a bigger impact on the world of Aegis, to help it grow and assist with the nurturing of Aegis. He then decided he would go and assist the Druids on a fight against the undead. Once they arrived at the battle field, half of the attacking force was dead. Their bodies littered the ground, some of them so badly burnt from the lightning and fire that they couldn’t be recognized. He ran over to the healing tent, looking for something better to see, but there wasn’t much of an improvement. There were men with cuts all over them, burnt skin in all places, and lost limbs.

The men had to retreat, for they had sustained to many casualties, so they went back to Snowy Fields. When Glow had made sure all people that were living had arrived in Snowy Fields, he left the Druids. He began travelling the world, looking for people to help, and things to do. After 5 years of travelling Aegis, seeing its beautiful nature and helping people, the battles were still being fought. He decided that it needed to stop, so he joined the only group he knew of that was fighting the undead, the FOA.

Once there, he began training with his sword, making himself stronger and fitter, and learning more about nature every day. One day when he was practicing on the training dummy, The FOA Commander Blaedr came along, and said that Glow was progressing well, and he was promoted to Sergeant. Once there, he continued to train and fight the taint known as the undead. At the age of 23, the cake god started communicating. He set forth 3 trials for Glow to complete, and once he had finished the tasks, he was handed a vital part of information. He was a direct descendent of the great Cake God. After being informed of this, Glow started training harder then ever, because he wished to live up to the expectations of being one of the great descendents of the mighty Cake God. One day at the age of 24, he was given another sign from the Cake God. In one of the rooms in Aeriels Keep, a cake throne was made, and on top of that throne, was a scroll…

Good Deeds (List Several of your good deeds and how they prove you are worthy of becoming ascended):

1. Glow has helped people when they have been in the midst of being robbed, being in pain, and if they have needed food. This proves that Glow cares about all people, no matter how poor they are, or if they are not as strong as a normal man.

2. Glow has helped fight the undead on many occasions, and has often provided insight into the tactics of the undead. This is a great deed, for it helps the Ascended fight the great filth that is the Undead.

3. Glow has donated large sums of items to the organization of the FOA, and constantly goes out of his way to help with the building. The FOA are constantly busy, so when Glow helps build, it is a burden they do not have to bear.

4. Glow has helped people fight for us, and continue fighting for us. They have been down, and have thought that all hope is lost, whereas it isn’t. Glow has helped numerous people overcome this factor, and after all, 1 more person for us is 1 less person for the undead.

Character Flaws: Glow knows he is not the perfect person, but he tries his best. Though even when you try, there will still be something wrong. For example, Glow has been offered power by Iblees many times, and has been hurt with cursed blades that have changed his personality. Glow was once a peaceful warrior of nature, and now after his wound with the cursed blade, he has some other traits that he didn’t have before…

Hero’s Specialty (is your hero a warrior, builder, trader; at least 1 paragraph long):

Glow believes he is a warrior of the light and nature. He wishes to help nature grow and thrive, but he also wishes to help in the fight against the undead. He wants to study under the ways of battle, his master being Sage Arcadius, but he also wishes to fight alongside nature. Glow is in a half mind trying to decide what to study, and is constantly changing his mind. Glow wishes to study under the way of nature aswell as fight...And he knows that the master of nature is Sage Okonkwo. He has complete control over nature, and is helping Glow realise his talent with nature. Glow wishes to someday be a master of nature, but being able to fight the undead with the forces of nature behind him.

Rationale (what is your characters mindset, why does he go out of his way to help others):

Glow has suffered great sadness in his life, and he has had nothing but that in his life. Once he joined the FOA, his new goal was to make it so other people wouldn’t have to suffer what he did. The feelings he sustained after all the tragedy in his life were destructive, so he did what he had to, so he could survive, and not ruin other peoples lives. Glow helps other people so that they do not have to go through the path that he did, and that they can live a happy life without any tragedy.

How do you determine right from wrong (At least 1 paragraph):

Glow’s way of determining right from wrong is people’s feelings. If they have been saddened, he knows that he has done something wrong, and he will do all in his power to make it right. If you do good, most people will not be saddened by this, and will be happy that you did it.

Once you have done right, you will feel like the world is backing you up, and in your heart, you will know that you have done the right thing. On the opposite, if you have done something wrong, you will be followed by guilt, and will not want to show your face in public for you are ashamed.

What are your characters views on the following statements (At least 1 Paragraph):

1. Cephalous defines ‘justice’ as speaking the truth and paying one's debts. Socrates quickly refutes this account by suggesting that it would be wrong to repay certain debts—for example, to return a borrowed weapon to a friend who is not in his right mind.

Glow believes they are both right. You must speak the truth, and repay your debts. But you surely would not, for example, Repay an undead for they took out one of your enemies. But, as they say, a deal is a deal, so it would not be right to repay a man that is just a small bit out of his mind, just because he could cause damage to someone. After all, we can all cause damage to other people, just most chose not too.

2. 'Tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune, or to take arms against a sea of troubles, and by opposing end them?

Glow believes it would be nobler to take arms against a sea of troubles, for you would not suffer the grief of great misfortune. If you suffer great misfortune, you may lose a loved one, so quickly that you cannot accept that it has happened, and may be driven insane. To take arms against a sea of troubles is wiser, and nobler, for it would mean you would have a chance to make things right, and there would even be time to change things.

If you oppose a sea of troubles, you have a chance to end them, once and for all, and there might not even be any lasting damage. The human mind is like a toy, take a piece out of it, and it will suffer extreme damage to it. Keep it well and fit, and it will turn into the greatest weapon of all time.

Glow puts down the quill, and eyes his handiwork. He is proud of what he has done, and wishes the sages are happy. He hands the scroll to one of the sages, and awaits his response...

Hero Application:

Minecraft User Name:leeloongsam

Hero’s Name: Salvalia Lightrunner

Background Of Hero (Chronologically and must be at least 1 paragraph long, but no longer than 4 paragraphs):

Salvalia is a peasent from a small village at the outskirts of Snowy Fields and Alstion. Life was harsh there, having to live off game meat, and the land was unsuitable for farming. But yet she was happy, as her parents were very loving and doting on her. A few years ago, while she was but a lass, the Undead launched a suprise assault on Snowy Fields. Needless to say the town fell quickly. The village decided to move into Alstion, but her father saw folly in that plan, seeing as now Alstion is isolated and too far from Al Khazar. That very night, the family quickly packed up, heading towards Al Aras. The father knew the night was full of bandits and thieves, but he was more anxious about his soul being devoured than losing a few minas. The father was dead(literally) wrong....Their caravan was attacked by a group of not bandits, but pigmen! The pigmen stand 6 feet tall, a face of a pig and the body of a dead human. With murderous red eyes, they attacked mercilessly at the family. The father died a fast death, being the leader of the caravan. Salvalia's mother died trying to shield her from harm. Her younger brother, Lauric picked up her father's iron sword and swung wildly at the pigmen, yelling to his dear sister to run for the hills. Salvalia was too stunned to move, and her younger brother died in a matter of seconds. While Salvalia saw her life flash before her very eyes, a war cry came out. Suddenly 3 hooded warriors rushed out of the thicket and took the pigmen completely by suprise. Butchery followed, and everyone had porkchops. The men claimed to be Followers of Aeriel, and took Salvalia(fainted due to exhaustion) to the Church, where the nuns looked after her til she recently reached her womanhood.

When she turned 16, she was officially released from the church. Her first idea was to contact Commander Blaedr, but decided to make a living and acquiring useful trade before presenting herself to a hero. She wondered about Oren, stumbling upon Silverside Manor. There she was taught by a elf named Leondas on the ways of farming and nuturing the land. She spent a few years in that manor, meeting many strange people. Not all of them good, but they were guests and she didn't understand the concept of evil, being sheltered by the church this whole time.

After saying farewell to her mentor, she traveled to a small town called Lunavara, where she was delighted and spent her days just ploughing the fields, and harvesting golden fields of wheat for the Lord Trouvo. Pay was decent, she had a apartment and friendly neighbours. She almost forgot about the Followers of Aeriel, but one day when she was in Al Khazar selling her wares, she saw a troop pass by, wearing blue uniform and a insignia on the back. Her memories were stirred, the same symbol that saved her from that golden sword aiming to hack her skull in two. She quickly asked a dwarf with white robes and blue trimmings if she could join the FoA. The dwarf turns out to be not only the leader of the party, but Commander Blaedr himself. He was very kind, and took in a unskilled, untrained farmhand into the base, and instructed her patiently.

Years flew by, Salvalia has not seen much battles, but has hardened her heart and soul to killing undead fiends. She is usually in the base, helping to till the land, harvest mushrooms and cut down sugar canes. She is cheerful and happy with those around her, and the Ascended's that come by to visit or stay. Met a few sages and stared at them in awe from afar, not daring to go close to them, for she might burn in their presence. One day, while she was farming sugar canes, there was a whisper in the winds...

"Salvalia....I sense the blood of the Aenguls within you...

It was a unknown spirit, but it spoke kindly to her. It told her to go on a quest, and prove herself worthy to claim her birthright(ancestry? unsure correct term). A magical golden scroll floated down from the sky, and she was instructed to follow its orders. Salvalia cried out, but the spirit vanished, just as quickly as it came.

((nothing but the truth, except for her childhood :D))

Good Deeds (List Several of your good deeds and how they prove you are worthy of becoming ascended):

Salvalia likes to help anybody, but she particularly enjoys doing farm work. She happily agree to helping any farmer to till his land, so he may rest his or her poor back. But truth be told, she has not done anything life-changing yet.

Character Flaws:

She. Gets. Lost. Alot.

And Salvalia has recently been experiencing a sort of mental illnes, where she blacks out every now and then. It saps the strength from her limbs, rendering her unable to talk or walk for a while. Coupled with her first flaw, she's usually left behind on expeditions.

Hero’s Specialty (is your hero a warrior, builder, trader; at least 1 paragraph long):

Salvalia's biggest asset is her knowledge of farming. She is a master in all kinds of plants, and is currently researching on giant mushrooms and the possibility of farming melons and pumpkins for the Ascended and FOA

Rationale (what is your characters mindset, why does he go out of his way to help others):

"Help those in need, but do not help those capable of helping themselves" That was what her father taught her since she was a child. If you help people capable of helping themselves, you are just harming and denying their possibility of growth and maturing. A lily needs to break through the sticky mud to bloom beautifully. The ones that grow in clear water are small, and slightly withered.

How do you determine right from wrong (At least 1 paragraph):

Whats right is doing things that should not hurt others, even if it was for the greater good. Salvalia is weak and still has a naive concept about leaving a single soldier to die as bait, rather than a whole battlion going down, fighting, because they wanted to save just one soldier.

Of course, what Cephalus says is certainly right, all debts must be paid, no matter how big or small. What Socrates is saying is more of a exception and a rare case. Creating arguement for arguement's sake. But it all boils down to common sense. Even if someone did agree to Cephalus's teachings, he/she would probably still not return a knife to a madman.

2. 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them?

Whichever is the one is the means to stop misfortune should be used. The people who cause suffering to others are bad people, and must be punished.

Hero Application: Hi. The application below is the one I want accepted more. Read the "Hero Application:" part of it.

Minecraft User Name: BoogerBuster

Hero’s Name: Belias

Background Of Hero: Belias Sarafand is the son of Brunhyldir Sarafand, an old Orc who served the Ascended in his young years. Brunhyldir became an Ascended, and the first Orc one, too. He did an honor to the nation of Krugmar. Brunhyldir even took such high steps to serve his people that he joined the Undead -- As a double agent. Unknown to all, Brunhyldir secretly served Riizu in feeding information about the evil Undead scourge to the Ascended, helping them gain the upper hand. Tragically, the pestilant magics took hold of Belias' father, and Brunhyldir eventually went mad. He hasn't been seen for years. Now, however, Belias is following his noble fathers footsteps. Belias has aided many in the world of Aegis, and has fought for the light all of his life. Now, he is ready to honor his father, and his nation, by reviving the Sarafand name.

When Belias came of age, he gradually became known as a "wandering protector," aiding those who seemed to be in danger, lost, or afraid. Belias didn't restrict himself to the hot sands of Krugmar, either. He travelled many places, and saw many things. He was a guard of Oren, and served during the battle of the king Perea, and was at his funeral. He fought for the light at the city near Winterfall, ((forgot what it's called)), and destroyed the Undead forces there with the help of his allies. He was even at the Battle of the Betrayer, one long forgotten; the one his father was initiated into the Undead at. Only the Ascended and Belias knew of his double-agency, and Belias was very proud that his father got to serve the light even more.

After his father disappeared, Belias went into deep depression. The only one he had ever looked up to was gone, and presumed to have gone mad and died. Those were dark times; Belias was uneasily guided toward more sinister things. Guraim and Ryder Bane, a few of Brunhyldir's old friends, revealed that his father once worshipped Iblees. Although Brunhyldir never again stepped into that damned path -- after he was brutally sacrificed long before he served the light -- Ryder Bane assured him that his father had actually helped the Undead. Belias took in the skills his obviously paladic father taught him and didn't believe a word they said. Belias finally realized that to best serve his father, he must return the great debts and favors that he inherited from the noble orc.

He rejuvenated himself and worked even harder to serve the god who knows right from wrong, noble from sinister, great from weak. Aeriel. Belias fought more undead, ferociously bit more decaying flesh off then even the Wandering Wizard could guzzle, and recrafted what it meant to be a Sarafand.

This is the story of Belias. Bask in the glory!

Good Deeds: Belias has fought the Undead head on, destroying many of their forces, and even facing those who his father once betrayed. He has worked with many forces of the light in bringing peace and prosperity to Aegis. And helping a few old ladies across the street helps too.

Character Flaws: Belias was scarred by his fathers disappearance; although the name Brunhyldir is long forgotten, it still haunts Belias to this day. But Belias won't let emotions cloud his judgement. He fights hard and long. Although some might think it a flaw, Belias does have an steel jaw, just like his father. But it sure does help him chew Undead bones.

Hero’s Specialty: Belias is a pure Paladin, fighter of good and light, and a master in Axe to Face combat. Although his father was both a warrior and a builder, Belias has evolved in many different arts, including those even his father struggled to grasp. These include mining, cooking, and flirting.

Rationale: Belias looked up to his father as a child. Brunhyldir was a great warrior, a great rolemodel, and a great father. Belias saw his success and decided that the way of the Light was the way of greatness. As soon as he came of age, he crafted an Axe and went to chopping. Of evil faces.

How do you determine right from wrong: While his father was still here, Belias was guided on how to seek out danger, and how to notice safety. As a master of deception, Brunhyldir needed to know when someone was lying. He brought down these skills of judgement to his son. Belias is now also a master of deception, the families favorite art of fighting. Whenever there is a dark hooded man about, or an underground accociation, there is always a thief or traitor. Belias is a master of seeking these people out using reverse-psychology and investigation.

Justice is a totally different thing to Belias. Although returning ones debts and being truthful is always very important, Justice is really bringing peace to all who live and breath. If there is prosperity for everything in the world, everything in the world will prosper.

But to answer your question, being honest and paying debts is always important. But if a debt was dangerous or unwise, like the one Socrates stated above, Belias believes it would be wise of him to return the debt. But if the "friend" starts killing little babies, Belias will do a great debt to everyone by pacifying him.

'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them?

Hero Application: Hi. This is the application I really want to be accepted, if I had a choice between the one here, and the one above. Brunhyldir is my main character, but Belias, my son, was made at the recommendation of Riizu in the fact that people would act weird towards this character.

Minecraft User Name: BoogerBuster

Hero’s Name: Brunhyldir Sarafand

Background Of Hero: Brunhyldir is an orc who grew up in a small tribe, containing very few people and low food and water rations. His people were forced to live off of cacti juice and scorpion meat, until suddenly production flourished. Wood started to grow; making gathering of iron to make tools with much easier. But the tribe shaman felt an uneasy plague coming. Soon, a gang of bandits raided the tribe, stealing all of the supplies, and killing several people, including Brunhyldir’s parents.

Brunhyldir strayed toward darker paths, following Iblees for guidance and becoming tainted. But, once he finally realized all was lost after disobeying Overlord Freyj himself, he began to believe Aeriel again. Brunhyldir did many things, helping the Oren Guards, becoming a pirate, building New Terriko, and participating in many battles, on the Ascended’s side. One day, though, Brunhyldir’s life way changed forever.

Sage Sue was in Al’Khazar, and, after cracking a few funny jokes, Brunhyldir came on Sue’s good side. Sue invited Brunhyldir to help build their city, Haven. Of course, Brunhyldir accepted. After aiding the Ascended, and telling some of his great adventures to Riizu himself, he was invited to be a soldier of Aeriel. He accepted. Brunhyldir served as the city guard, and became an Acolyte. Then, one day, he and Riizu came upon an idea. What if he were to join the Undead – as a double agent? It would give the Ascended the upper hand, and let Brunhyldir serve even more honorably for Aeriel.

Brunhyldir and Riizu staged a battle in which Brunhyldir killed Riizu, causing Tyrion, the Undead leader, to have no choice but to invite this great and terrible orc into the Undead. The Ascended’s plan had succeeded! But, over the months, Brunhyldir’s connection with Aeriel deteriorated. He disappeared, and eventually went mad. But now, he has returned, with his connection re-aligned, ready to get back to guarding and battling for the city he’s known since he had come of age.

Good Deeds: Brunhyldir fought for the light most of his life, helping all he could, in any way he could.

Helped to build cities: Brunhyldir helped create the city of New Terriko, with no obligation or payment in mind, and also did the same with Haven.

Fought the Undead: Brunhyldir has killed many Undead and their followers. He has fought in several battles, and knows his way in combat.

Gone through Priest training: Brunhyldir went under the guidance of High Priest Hightower, and learned most ways of the Priest, and received training and discipline. For one of his Priest tasks he had to convert someone out of Iblees grasp, and he succeeded.

Served the Ascended and Aeriel: Brunhyldir joined the Undead to help the Ascended receive the upper hand in battles and surprise attacks.

Has been in the Ascended in the past: Brunhyldir was an Ascended Acolyte before he joined the Undead as a double agent. He was the first Orc, too. He is known to be trustworthy.

Helped an old lady across the pathway: Probably the most important deed of them all. Brunhyldir has aided many elderly ladies across the street.

Character Flaws: Brunhyldir loses strength when Aeriel cannot watch over him. When he is in the Nether, for example. He also has a steel jaw, which some may think is a flaw, but it is not. It helps chew Undead bones.

Hero’s Specialty: Brunhyldir has been a warrior all his life, but he is also skilled in building and writing. He was raised by humans, so his vocabulary is quite expansive and intellectual, and therefore wouldn’t make a bad priest.

Rationale: Brunhyldir knows that there is great reward – spiritual and physical – when he follows the light. Helping others will lead to prosperity for all, and when everything prospers, everything prospers.

How do you determine right from wrong: In order to stay incognito while in the Undead, Brunhyldir had to master the art of deception. He had to know when to speak, when not to speak, what not to speak of, and when other people where scheming. He knows body language and speech. He can tell if someone is lying, or if they are simply in a bad situation.

What are your characters views on the following statements:

1. Cephalus defines ‘justice’ as speaking the truth and paying one's debts. Socrates quickly refutes this account by suggesting that it would be wrong to repay certain debts—for example, to return a borrowed weapon to a friend who is not in his right mind.

My answer: Justice is a totally different thing to Brunhyldir. Although returning ones debts and being truthful is always very important, Justice is really bringing peace to all who live and breath.

But to answer your question, being honest and paying debts is always important. But if a debt was dangerous or unwise, like the one Socrates stated above, Brunhyldir believes it would be wise of him to return the debt. But if the "friend" starts killing little babies, Brunhyldir will do a great debt to everyone by pacifying him.

2. 'Tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them?

My answer: The answer I have is to face the misfortune. Letting things bother you or hurt you will not help you. You must act --whether that is changing yourself or the situation-- so that these troubles are resolved.

Taking a risk is sometimes neccesary. But if Harpies are torturing you, why let them steal your bowl of fruit when you could set a net trap? Of course they could get out and just get it over with and kill you, but who knows. The trap might work and you can eat all the fruit you want. Like bananas. --Me.

Hero Application:

Minecraft User Name: Reckreation

Hero’s Name: Reckreation

Background Of Hero (Chronologically and must be at least 1 paragraph long, but no longer than 4 paragraphs):

As a young lad he watched his father walk out the front door and waited for hours as his mother worried if he would return from battle. His father would return every night with cuts across his body and face. He would always be welcomed by his wife and kids. Years had past and the worry was still in his mothers mind. Reckreation woke one day to hear a sobbing from downstairs. As he creeped down the stairs his brother Artha followed with a look of hate in his eyes "whats wrong mother?" "where is father?" she looked at the boys and began to sob more. She wimpered "come here my sons" they rushed over to her fearing the worse, "your father died last night in a fight with the undead" Artha started to cry, but reckreation could only feel the pain of his siblings "my father died a hero saving hundreds of people all around the world why do you cry?" reckreations said with a stern look. From that day Artha fell to darkness. It started with small things, being a bully at school then on to mugging and then even murder. Artha never got over his father death and felt it was all pointless and in vain.

Reckreation on the other hand looked up to his father as a hero and wished more people would

risk everything to help people around them. When Reckreations turned 10 he spent most his time at a blacksmith making weapons and armor for the warriors of Laurelin. When he was 16 he applyed to join the army but was rejected because of his bothers threat to kill anyone who would accept him as a warrior. Being rejected reckreations headed out to help people in small villages with anything they needed and earned a small amount of money, untill the day he could build a city to help everyone in the land. At the age of 60 reckreation's finally had enough money to start a city where people with nothing could make somthing of them selves. Arthas still hides in the shadows, wanted by the army of Laurelin. Reckreation's only wish is to protect the people that his father once protected and to bring peace to the lands that have been scorched by the undead.

Good Deeds (List Several of your good deeds and how they prove you are worthy of becoming ascended):

Built a city for people with nothing to learn skills and earn money.

Protected the people of the world from the attacks of the undead

In every war he bring weapons, armor and food to the people that need it.

Character Flaws:

Unable to show remorse for fallen heros believing if you live as a hero then death is the price that will be payed.

I want to kill his own brother consumes him as he still loves him.

Hero’s Specialty (is your hero a warrior, builder, trader; at least 1 paragraph long):

He lives to follow in his fathers footsteps and one day be able to become a warrior just like him. He uses his father diamond sword that he was killed with as a reminder of what people will loose if he should fail.

Rationale (what is your characters mindset, why does he go out of his way to help others):

He believes that people do help each other more then people realise. The smallest thing from helping build a roof to going to war to protect the people you love, you will be considered a hero in the eyes of the people you help. He wants more then anything is to gain the trust of the people and be able to make a difference in everones life.

How do you determine right from wrong (At least 1 paragraph):

Reckreation believes if a person does somthing for somone and it breaks the laws of the kingdom it should be punished. But when somthing is done right by the law then he knows it can only be good.

The debt should only be payed when the fulfillment of the debt could only return a just reward If he return a sword to a man not in his "right mind" the out come could become treturous. Only when the sum of debt could only end in a good way can the debt be payed if any doubt is in the mind of iver of the people involved the the debt should be null.

2. 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them?

If the outcome can be changed by the words of men then the wars could be stopped and lives would be saved, but if war is at our doorsteps and then only option is to defend and fight to save the people you love.
