Marek Walks over and looks upon the names, he takes only seconds to come to find the name that will lead Malinor to a new age.

"Knox."

He writes the name down then walks away, knowing he made the right choice.

Khel stares at the two names, one  name sticks out to him

"Knox"

Khel lets out a sigh while looking down to the ground

"Has malinor really gone this low? They desire to elect an insane pumpkin man who has been terrorizing malinor for decades"

Khel counts three fingers on his hand, the number of times he killed the insane pumpkin man as a Sentinel in Normandor.

"This must be some damned joke"

Khel makes a mark next to Polograth, even though he believes it means nothing

Arahael sighs as she comes back. A note already in hand.

She pins it to the fountain.

"I would like to continue my dedication and control over the Malinor library, nothing else, if that requires me to nominate myself, I shall do so."

Igneberr reads the note and places one just below it in reply "You do not need to become High Princess to continue running the library  far from it actually as you would not have time to do so in such a position. If you seek to continue running the library just talk with any of the current High Council"

((i'm sorry for this waste of time and unnessecary ooc, but lol...Polograph.))

Art scowls as he sees he has apparently been nominated. He quickly scrawls under his name:

"Whoever wrote this, don't waste your vote on me, support the mindlord, and through him you'll be doing right by many people, including myself."

Amarath Oussana walks up tot he board, not caring about either. However he meet with Polgrath and knows him at least. He see's his brother Khel also make the same vote and places his in as well.

He writes on a paper in a hard font as his eyes shift to the crowds around him.

"Polgrath"

The pumpkin-wearing psycho skips merrily past the notice, his head turning to it for but a moment, providing just enough time for him to catch sight of his name. Curious, he turns sharply on his heel to prance swiftly back a pace to stand upright before the notice, placing his bony palms against his hips as his eyes dart back and forth across the parchment, brow raising in question at the number of times his name has been brought back up.

After several long moments of pondering, his nods his head once. Deciding he'll humor the elves in their vote for his leadership. As he reaches for the quill, his eyes are drawn to the one other name situated on the list. Polgrath. He repeats the name over and over in his head, knowing full well that if this Polgrath were to 'vanish', then only his name would sit upon the notice. As these thoughts begin to whirl about his mind, he presses down far too hard on the parchment to produce a bold, swirling effect as he signs his own name down amongst the others.

A feminine figure in an elegant hooded silk robe walks towards the notice board, carrying a silver staff. She glances at the board and upon noticing the names, she adjusts the spectacles that rest on her face. She sighs and takes a quill from her bag, inking it in an ink bottle attached to her bag. She then takes out her own parchment, crisp and clean. She then pens a new note in an elegant, almost unique handwriting, reading:

"Perhaps you should reconsider your candidates for your council as it seems that these two would be unfit, both rather shady characters. If you truly care so little for your government than it is no wonder things have gone downhill. I suggest looking elsewhere for your leaders and I highly recommend searching among the knowledgeable Mali'Aheral or the wise Druids. They will most certainly do much better than these so called 'candidates'. Think about what you are doing before you do it. To rush like the Humans is to be our downfall. I thought we were better?

Maehr'Sae"

The hooded lady pins the note to the board under the notice and adjusts her spectacles once more, walking off with her silver staff clinking on the stones.

Though the note signs off with "Maehr'Sae", no name is given. However, those who know her handwriting would recognize the note as Elwen Evaglno's.

Kefi runs past the notice board without a care, off to play somewhere in the trees. She can't read well anyway.

Elorna finally finds this collection of papers amidst all the others on the notice board, she raises an eyebrow as she reads over the nominations.

"Knox? Knox!? They demand freedom and the ability to elect leaders, and when they have it this is what they do?" Elorna's mouth twists into a frown and she sighs sadly. "I had thought.... the Mali should have more sense than this..."

She looks over the papers again and notices the many nominations for Polgrath. Her eyes narrow, and she mutters under her breath. "Draoi..." In a moment of frustration she withdraws her charcoal pencil from her satchel and marks two names upon the list.

"Emberhard"

"Avern'len"

Marek stands back, hearing some people showing anger of the addition of Knox being voted. He sighs and walks over to them to speak.

"Perhaps they vote for Knox not because they want him to lead, but they would take him over the shifty character that Polgrath is. He claims that Azel has appointed him incharge of the reformation movement, but what proof does he have? And if he has any, can we really trust a Master of illusion's proof? Who is to say it is just a illusion, not real proof?"

Art chuckles.

"Because if he had resulted in using his crafts to win this election, you would be down on your knees begging to fulfill his every request, or you would be seeing boulders flying upwards and hearing trees speak. On another note, I carry the official document Azel signed giving proof of Polgrath's succession."

Art pulls out a lengthy scroll, promptly unfurling it in front of Marek.

"Now, if you'll continue to slander, please do so in a logical and fact-based manner."

Marek yawns, unimpressed by Art's words. He sighs lightly and goes to speak again.

"Signatures can be faked, you don't even need magic for such a thing. And with your logic, doesn't that mean its possible the reason you are down on your knees begging to fulfill his every request is because of magic? Or perhaps just greed. Either way I've yet to see any real proof that Azel approved of this wizard, I lived in Darkhaven with Azel and saw him often every day. I never once saw him and this wizard even speak."

Polgrath hears Mareck's speaking and turns towards him in response.

"It would take an illusionist far more powerful then I to convince the people of Malinor of your ludicrous claims. You slander my character so! I hath been a lawabiding citizen of Malinor since before ye were likely born, youngling.  Look upon Elindor's scroll there, there lies the handwriting of Azel himself supporting me. Elindor tis a wise mage himself and could surely tell if I had falsified such evidence through sorcery. If tis not enough ye will see the patron of Darkhaven, Khel, your leader and my comrade also supports I. If ye and all ye voters for the crazed gourd headed killer known as Knox do not support my candidacy then vote for someone ye believe would truely lead the nation well, perhaps a respected member of the community who has familiarity with situation? I see several votes for other candidates other then myself that are not crazed slayers. Perhaps ye would be better served by voting for them.

By all means doth not vote for me if ye doth not see fit... but vote for someone ye believe is fit for Malinor."

Marek shrugs, yawning and setting off to leave Malinor and return to Darkhaven. He doesn't turn back, but says one last thing to the crowd in a sarcastic tone.

"All hail the pumpkin king~"

Polgrath watches him go and mutters quizzically to himself.

"Such rash edginess... in my youth I would have been scalped for foolishness like this"
