"GO Polgrath!" Shouts Talis, expecting that Polgrath should win. "Whoever doesn't vote for Polgrath is a Banana!"

*Smoke steps in, lifting his right hand to adjust his mask. He tilts his head around before speaking.*

"I too support the Mindlord. He has my vote."

Elorna crosses her arms as she listens to those around her. "I don't understand why so many of you want someone with such easily-abused magic as your leader."

((The OP said you don't have to keep posting for nominations, once a nominee has 3 +1s they're in. Which means those running are currently Knox, Polgrath, Thomas Chivay, Emberhard, and Avern'len. So yeah... make of that what you will.))

Notes, fliers, posters and letters of all sorts heap upon one another, exposed to Bircalin's attention. His hand crumples his own letter in his pocket, unintentionally squashing it in his grasp as he watches the board face the masses. A thin smile forms on his lips, edging it's way into a nostalgic smirk as he brings the letter from concealment to flatten it out before him. He gently brushes his palm over the sheet to rid it of any further creasing before approaching the mob of nominations.

Upon finding a suitable corner of the board not quote as densely-populated as the rest, a swift click and thud can be heard as Bircalin brings an average hunting dagger from his chest holster, using it to pin his nomination to the board with a single word clear upon it.

"Bircalin."

Stepping away, his hands brush his sides as though ridding themselves of a day's hard work.

With his smile weary but evident, he turns and makes his way across the courtyard once more, chuckling to himself.

"Always was one for the odds... I'd rather have attempted and failed than failed to attempt, at least."

Thinks over the drivel that's been put forward so far and says aloud;

"I've never heard of this Polgrath before. We need someone who's known to lead this nation and bring it back to what it was, not one of these fancy magic users. I suppose I'll nominate Ebs, though I can't see these coming to much."

Walks away, his blue coat over his shoulder.

A single note is written on a small amount of Parchment.

"I would like to nominate Laila Darkspire in the interests of the Dark Elves and Darkhaven itself."

The note is not signed.

Elene sits in her bed, coughing slightly as she reads from a small journal. A courier steps in, bowing slightly and delivering some news. Elene stares at him, blankly, before saying...

"C-Could you repeat those names again?"

"Knox, Polgrath, Emberhard, Vern'len, Thomas Chivay, and Ebs, M'lady."

Elene narrows her eyes, tossing the book at him and yelling...

"You think it is funny to jest about the leaders suggested to an ill woman? I should have you removed for your impudence, it is not the time for jokes!"

The man flinches, his head remaining low as he responds...

"On my honor, M'lday Sivlerblade, those are the names, I swear it."

Elene twitches, before laughing slightly then spiraling into a coughing fit. She sips from a cup of tea, regaining her composure before responding...

"Then it appears as though this 'Election' is the jest, in the end...You may leave now, thank you for your report."

The man scurries out, before picking up the book at setting it at the bed-table. Elene sighs, looking out the window wearily.

Goroth strolls up tilting his head at the names up on the poster and marks an eleventh tally beside Polgrath's name before speaking aloud to those around him.

"Those of you whom nominated this man Knox, know he is a criminal and know that you only destroy the name of Malinor in suggesting him as an official. Let us be merely civilised about this... I see the crossed out name of a Chivay. I would like to name the one whom suggested a White Rose as an official, an idiot. Obviously, one has no sentiment for this nation when bringing up that name. Either way, Polgrath is one of great wisdom, even if his ideas may sometimes seem misplaced... Support him."

He then puts his hands behind his back and strolls off.

Marek jumps out from behind goroth, preparing to set things right.

"Nay, Knox is a model citizen! He is also a far better choice then this "Polgrath.", who we know nothing about. Is it not funny Azel dies the same time this Polgrath shows himself as a leader for malinor? He cannot be trusted, At least with Knox we don't need to be worried about this mage's lies and tricks."

Art smiles a seemingly friendly smile at Marek.

"Here, little one, would you like to see something?"

He pulls out his scroll yet again, complete in full intricacy.

((link removed by request))

"Now, I highly recommend against using implied lies and blind insults to get your way. Polgrath is plenty known, and acting like a child is a sure way to lose sympathy to his opposition, namely: you."

Looks over the scroll and laughs

"Polgrath doesn't rule Darkhaven, Khel does. And should I see him in Darkhaven claiming as such ever again I swear it here and now; I will have his head."

Art laughs heartily.

"OH? You will? Well, good luck my friend, he has a habit of putting his assailants in a state of permanent insanity. And I believe I showed you the wrong parchment. Here, you may find this mighty convincing."

A magical wave of the quill, runes floating off the paper like butterflies descending into the skies.

The words fill the air with a warm orange glow, circling around the paper left in the fountain. Faster and faster, the rune spins in a blinding orange hurricane, finally sealing the paper to but the caster himself.
