Uthor simply shrugs of his emotionaly challenged squire and walks into the armory grabbing a Shortsword for Pertinax and a bastard sword for him. He walks over to Pertinax handing him the Shortsword nodding to the young Prince "Come squire, we got trainin' to do for ye" Pertinax nods to him then going to ask "Uncle Uthor, That edict my father passed are you part of it?"
