Old-Rattlesnake 1534 Share Posted April 18, 2013 If you need to get an item named-- Simply make a modreq! Seriously, if you need an item named, it will be done, you don't need to go get lore for it. But, if it is an enchanted item, discussion will be required in that circumstance. GM's won't simply run around and enchant your items. ;) I have so much respect for this decision. Thank you for supporting interesting roleplay. The Sunshine Staff will live again! EDIT:
Ezo Karasuga 356 Share Posted April 18, 2013 Yay! Less hyperpunishment for players and more actual reasonable moderation via a plugin. Telanir delivers once again.

We only name items of significant value. If we named every item people wanted it loses the "specialness" of the service. So do not go around saying just make a modreq for it. The gm's will not just go around naming things for people unless there is a good reason for it.

Mankaar 166 Share Posted April 18, 2013 While were on the topic (( not gonna bother to quote ya here )) Are custom items ever coming back?
Urasept 1361 Share Posted April 18, 2013 Don't lose hope on renamed items however. If you have a "good" reason for it, and can logically explain why it needs to be renamed. You will have a higher chance at getting the rename.
Lago 2572 Share Posted April 18, 2013 Diamonds were banned mainly because they are too OP in the game as equipment, and they became too common too quickly. An average soldier wouldn't have a sword or armor made out of diamonds, yet that is what it quickly became. They were banned because the GMs wanted them to be genuinely rare rather than the standard as they were in Aegis/Anthos. The temp mining world went wrong, then a certain player turned out to have hidden a massive hoard while the map was in dev (causing the ore wipe on the main map), so for now they're banned until it's decided how to implement them. BlackAce 0 Share Posted April 18, 2013 This sounds like a great idea to keep contraband items out of the hands of idiots.

Temari 1 Share Posted May 13, 2013 I think it's a good idea diamond items are banned for a roleplay server... Technically, diamond swords and armor don't even make sense. It's true it is the hardest surface in the world, but that just means it wouldn't get scratched. If you hit something with a diamond sword, the sword would completely shatter :D
