THE ANTHOSIAN FORESTERS

You may have seen so called "Woodsmen" or "Rangers" but most of these groups owe their alliances to different nations and care for knighthood and honor. A true Forester cares for his freedom, owing his trust and gratitude to those who he/she feels will aid in their thirst for risks, freedom, and adventure. You wish to be a master in the art of espionage, acrobatics, stealth, marksmanship in ranges weapons, and amazing blade work? Our clan of Foresters is very close knit and secretive. Imagine being able to kill an ant crawling across the Salvus square. Sneaking through a bandit outpost without ever even being mistaken for the wind. Being able to escape an undead mob by swinging branch to branch like a jungle ape from the jungles of a far off land. More importantly do you wish to use your skills to make a living and save the eternal freedom of all races. We also have sub-group known as the Oakenshields, the warriors of our clan who are masters in the art of combat.

A Rush Meeting

Ryan Darkwood skulked through the forests outside of Salvus, he had even tracking a deer and believed to have caught up with it, as he reached the edge of the cliff, catching sight of the city. "Hmm..." the tracks ended at the cliff, the deer had fallen, disturbed by something and scared too its doom. Ryan began to walk glumly to his camp when something caught his eye. A bear! He crouched behind a tree and began scurry up into the branches. He knocked an arrow, and shot into the bear's head, falling dead instantly. As he swung down and approached the bear he saw a movement out of the corner of his eye. A cloaked man was approaching him.

"Come with me," he said. Ryan skinned the bear, stuffing the pelt and meat in his big game bag, and whistles for his horse that came trotting through the forest. After attaching the game bag to the horse he followed the man.

"I am a forester," the man said, "an order that has kept the forests free of bandits and nations alike. Ye are the perfect forester, as I have seen, few can take down a bear with one arrow. I am dying soon, ye must carry on our tradition, read this book and ye will be able to make a livin, guide the innocent, and protect freedom. Ryan read the book learning thy the dying man once belonged to a group of Foresters who formed in Anthos to protect freedom, and make some coin. But the guild was short lived as a simple guide mission turned into an ambush and they could not withstand the forces of twenty orcs. Only a few live an were scattered throughout the land , all living out their lives trying to find someone to restart the legacy.

Ranks

Once ye reach full Forester ye are free to start yer own headquarters so that we can expand our influence and nobody can command ye, but ye are advised to follow a senior members instructions.

Elden Forester/Oakenshield: The most skilled of the group, only ones who can give commands that somebody MUST do, deals with punishments, and can appoint a full on hostility to a certain nation/group.

Foresters/ Oakenshields: The full-fledge Members of our Group, able to take apprentices and go on contracts alone.

Apprentice:

The Forester in training, can only go on contracts appointed by his/her mentor. Learns about the Foresters’ history and secrets. Will be supplied with weapons wanting to be trained with. Also, if apprentices o a specialty master other than a Forester the Apprentice learns that trade as well.

Services:

1. Scouting Jobs: If a nation/person/group wishes to hire our expertise to scout and enemy it will

be gladly done for 50 minas.

2. Guide Jobs: If a nation/group/person requires assistance and protection in traveling it will be done for 25 minas.

3. Espionage: If a nation/group/person wishes for us to spy on somebody it will be gladly done for 100 minas.

4. Protection: We will gladly watch over somebody that a nation/group/person wishes not to be harmed... we will not be seen of course.

5. Battle Aid: If a nation/group/person wishes for Foresters and Oakenshields alike to aid in combat we will gladly help for 80 minas.

Classes:

Forester:The Foresters main trade is information, always be on the lookout for rumors, public events, and gossip. The Foresters are highly skilled masters of stealth and if this is chosen as a specialty ye will be trained till you are a master in the arts of your chosen weapons, stealth, and acrobatics.

Blacksmith: The Highly Respected smiths of the Foresters. Smiths all the forester's weapons except the long range weapons,, as all Foredters are required to know how to make their main weapon.

Oakenshield: An agile, lightly armed Forester needs courageous, honorable, strong, warriors to back them up from time to time. This group are trained in a completely different way than the Foresters. Although they are taught the basics of stealth they rely on the sword and shield to win a battle other than relying on stealth and surprise. These frontline fighters are the Forester's brothers in arms and are to be treated just like a Forester.

Cook: Although all Foresters can cook meals a very skilled artist would be highly appreciated in the clan. Of course they will recieve training in our ways but their main purpose is to feed us all. They will be in charge of oganizing feasts and having meals ready for when a Forester comes back from a tiring mission. The Cook will receive pay but it will be figured when we receive a cook how much they will be payed.

What Class would you wish to be? Oakenshield, Forester, Cook, or Blacksmith? Due to your skill in alchemy I think that being a cook would be good, you would still be trained in the ways of the Foresters or Oakenshields. Just choose which one.
