Shalom, goyim. I'm going to be adding all currently accepted noble houses to their own pages in the wiki over the next few days, and I need you to either a) update your house post in the Official Thread, or b) merely put an updated version here. Please post here confirming if your house post is updated.

I'd prefer you do otherwise. As I said here,

"For the time being there will be no Noble House pages either – they have typically been created and then ignored as information goes out of date and is never updated. Instead, on each nation page there will be a spot for the name of the house and a link to their forum page with all the pertinent information."

Noble house pages are usually the most out of date on the wiki and lead to a great deal of confusion. PM me if you wish, but I believe having a link to the forum post of each House will keep the wiki a lot cleaner and more organized.

Never mind. Go for it, but if any pages become badly out of date they run the risk of removal.

House Valkrae Lore
The years had taken their toll on the family. House Tarus was not what it once was under the leadership of Ezekiel. As the rebellion died down, the Tarus’ moved to the Kingdom of Eyveror under the protection of the Dwarves. There on the island of Kalos they began to build a settlement, a Kingdom where they could live in peace and under the ways of Old, or so they thought.

As the days turned into weeks, and months, and years, the kingdom grew in size. Emperor Godfrey and those in Oren took notice to this. More and more people were leaving Oren and moving to Eyveror. As this new kingdom grew, so did its influence. Finally, Emperor Godfrey realized what had to be done, he had to suppress this rising power. The order was given and the Kingdom of Eyveror was attacked. Little resistance came against the mighty forces of the Holy Oren Empire and the battle was quickly over. The Phoenix King, Edward Tarus looked out over his kingdom as it slowly burned to the ground. All hope was lost, and before he knew it he was slain by the one and only Thalin Letholdus, who said Edward had failed in his endeavors. Edward’s closest family almost disappeared as the Phoenix Grand Marshal, Ser Talon was declared dead as well. The family was falling apart and no one could help them.

A few months went by before the Tarus’ were heard from. In the end the monks had found Talon’s body and healed him of his many wounds. When he had fully recovered he set out to seek out answers. What had he done wrong? Was his decision to follow Ezekiel and later Edward the wrong decision? His journey brought him before the throne of Emperor Godfrey yet again. Talon approached the throne of the Holy Oren Empire his gaze falling upon Godfrey. He kneels down and bows his head for a few moments and then looking up he stands and addresses the Emperor.

"Your majesty, I have come to ask for your forgiveness yet again. The first time was to inform on my decision to follow Eze'kiel. Now I come to you asking to be accepted back into the place I have loved since the beginning of time. Throughout my time in the Kingdom of Eyveror I thought long and hard about my decision, contemplating on whether it was the right one. I have come to realize that it was not. I stand before you today to ask for forgiveness and the ability to start again in the Empire. In return I offer you my services once again as a Knight of the Holy Order of the Red Dragon and the lives of my men. During my leave I organized a group. You might have heard about them before, The Phoenix Guardians. We have grown strong and would ask that you take our services as your personal mercenaries and soldiers as we are highly trained. Apart from other groups we are loyal and respectful to those in authority over and only want the best for you and the Empire. Please consider this apology and allow for us to have redemption."

Emperor Godfrey, seeing the true repentance in Talon’s apology nods and grants him the status he once held years ago before the rebellion. Now realizing the true loyalty and grace of the Emperor, Talon wonders where he could have ever have been turned to think wrongly of Godfrey. Leaving the throne room, Talon immediately reports to his old Knight Chapter Lion. Commander Ser Jonathan Black, welcomes him warmly and again he realizes the grace of Oren and the mighty Empire it has grown to be.

A few days pass and Talon gets word from his father that he will be returning to Oren from his own travels. When Haelphon and his son finally meet once again, it is a glorious sight. They embrace each other laughing and crying at the same time, as so much time has passed since they had seen each other. From that day on a new chapter had began in their family’s history. This new chapter also came with a new name. The bitterness of Edgar, back in the newly created Hold of Kastoria, sent a letter that they were to change their name immediately. And so, House Valkrae was formed and their legacy will continue to grow in years to come.

House Tarus Lore

Long ago in the days of old Horen, after the Great War, when Horen was on his last rope and death seemed to be imminent, Horen named his successor. Haren I. shortly before his death by axe. Time went on and time went by, and Haren I took his time as King.

According to the House Elendil records,

“Haren wed the Elvish princess Morwen Idril wed and soon started House Haren which for five generations had ruled Oren in a time known as the "Age of Peace" until Seneschal Owynn Godwinson had King Elendil II removed from power and exiled him into the north.”

House Elendil, by Artorus Elendil.

Nearing the end of this time period, when the house of Elendil came to the North, there lay a further north nation. Already established to the far north was House Tarus, a long forgotten, long docile nation of the frost of the north but fierce as the beasts that reside there. They lay past the Adunian Sea, as it were called by the Elendil people, where the Matriarch Deledah Tarus sat on a Throne of Iron. She had been the first to raise the Sigil of the Wolf, originally scrawled in the blood of the beasts of the North on the pelt of a rare Albino Wolf. The mast flew high the first time the Tarus brood were seen on the Horizon of Adunia. It was very fortunately the first visit in a series of profitable visits. These were the weapons of choice for hunting and fighting in the North and securing their lands from icy barbarians and the likes.

According to the oldest records, after the Adunian-Tarus first conflict war, Adunia brought lumber and building supplies en mass, which allowed the Tarus Brood in turn to prosper. To Adunia from the rich mines of the north the Tarusians delivered iron, heaps of iron, and obsidian. The network of trade was prosperous for both nations, both leaderships, as both in turn grew military. From the simple settlements and natural formations of the North the Tarusians grew, evolved, and expanded. No longer were they mere barbarians, they were Nobility. They were the same men to the South, but, they were colder, they were harder, and they were loyal as steel was to the hand that wielded it- forever, should it be there to obey.

Three Settlements grew in what was now known as the Holy Land, perhaps a parody. It seemed like God had abandoned these frozen tundras. To the south was Bruti, the capitol city, where the Iron Throne rested and the matriarch once nursed the young, growing nobility that was her son, Anduin. Bruti was a tall, defiant fortress city that was built up to the peak of a mountain and burrowed into for the keep. A large tower, coming forth from the ground like bones, stood tall on each plateau, each terrace, on the way to the city at the top of the mountain. Surely the city seemed impregnable.

To the East was Stormwatch, a fortress city built under a mountain peak to shield it from the raging Eastern winds that tore through the area. Here the hardest men of the Tarusian kingdom were born. In the tall, permafrost ridden walls, where the snow rose twenty-feet a day and bears larger then trees roamed in search of a child or man dumb enough to stumble into the biting cold... Men were wolves here, men lived by wolves, and although Storm watch was not the original capitol, Stormwatch was the original birthplace of the Tarusian Monarchy to the north. It stood vigil to the harsh unknowns beyond... some rumors say men who cast lightning and fire and summon the cold bones of the ancestors lie in the storms. Some said the storms -are- the creations of these same magi.

To the West lay Tarisport. Tarisport was the second city to be constructed and was the only major port to the Northern Wastes. Here was the input and export of iron and ores and the import of raw goods and materials for construction. It was also the Renaissance and Revival of Technologies and Religion. Faith slowly began to restore the the Northern Wastes, the training of Paladins began, warriors of holy fervor, and insulation and construction techniques began to be researched into. Cities expanded further into sprawling fortress towns, protected from the cold, able to even farm in greenhouses now, and making these people all more docile, excluding Stormwatch. Stormwatch would always be a land of brutal warriors and strong men and women and wolves.

By the time these cities were grown out, settled, and finished, Anduin came of age to take the throne. Anduin became known as “Anduin of Conquest”. Anduin immediately set out to force the northern tribes to the ‘dark lands’, lands covered in further dangers, more so then the local barbarians or giant bears. He lead an army of men, ten-thousand strong, to murder every tribe he came across and force them across the wastes back to the North. In history, it was said he returned in a fourth his army, frost bitten, and a smile on his face. His conquest was called the “Trail of Icemen”. Many of the men who had followed Anduin to the north had died in the process, some freezing where they stood, drilling, sleeping, and the likes. Anduin went on to be the precursor to the modern Tarus family, where Eze’kiel traces his lineage and likeness from.

He married a northern-tribeswoman who offered herself to spare her tribe. Anduin took the gift willingly, but, killed the tribe anyways. It was said she tried to kill her after their child was born later, but, he killed her as well. He felt no sorrow in his actions and was pleased with the turn of events; his enemies were dead, he had a son. His son had the fire imbued in his mother’s last breaths and heartbeats.

Adelas Tarus was a hot-tempered and fiery man. He was also devout and pious to the Gods brought from the Southern lands and became known as “Adelas of Intolerance”. He went on a rampage with a newly raised army of Paladins to crush all false idols and kill those not worshiping his gods. He even considered magi to be “abominations of all that is wrong, immoral, and defiant of our lord”. He made many powerful enemies quickly, which is why he is later known as “Adelas the End”. He was the last King to rule the North; perhaps it was destiny, but perhaps he really did bring this upon himself. In his reign, the storms began again, and in them, lay an enemy unexpected.

It was a horrible night that lightning struck on Bruti, relentlessly, crumbling the city in the midst of the night. It was said that fire rained from the sky and the souls of those Adelas had fought and killed rose to defeat him, still defiant in death. He fled like a coward from the impregnable tops of Bruti. He swore and cursed the names of every Magi he killed, but, it was a force far deviant. The Undead hidden in the North had learned of the growing faith in God, and, decided it was time to end it. It was would be no task to fight the unaware, very physical Tarusian men with the powers of Iblees by them. They had come right over Eastwatch and crumped the mountain they were under on top of them. The city and fortress were crushed and anyone who lived inside starved or froze or suffocated. They then marched onto Bruti as Adelas slept and stirred him.

They chased him all the way to the boats of Tarisport, cursing his name, and trying to kill him their selves as he jumped on a boat with some loyal men and his wife to be, Stephanie. He laid with her that night as the oceans echoed the screams of death of his Kingdom. He was surprisingly uncaring. They came to Adunia some months later, near out of food, and in disguise. His wife was with young and they made haste through the city. According to a recorded recount from one of his men, “Adelas was far less pious then he claimed to be. The second his kingdom fell; he hardly seemed like the man of god he tried to be. He cried in the night and hit his wife in anger. He was an unkempt beast, one his father surely would of slain in days of old.”

His wife gave birth in some old ruins of the Half-Elfs, cursed, some called it, others called merely said it was an old Magi's tower. Adelas was very upset his son was born in this musty old hole. “A tomb fit for pagans.” Some nights after his wife tried to calm him with a drink, and a night of love and leisure. The night quickly went bad when Adelas drank too much and began to beat his wife a little harder then he expected. His wife began to bleed and in a fit of blood lust he kept hitting. A guard rushed in to stop him and Adelas drew his sword and fought. He was a poor swordsman by this time, especially drunk, and the guard slayed his former King. He helped Stephanie outside, to a horse, and sent her off with a word, “His seed lives with you; raise him wiser and in secret”.

When she tried to return in the morning the tent was burned and a sign of a struggle. It is assumed by scholars that the guards turned on each of their brethren for failing their duties, the ‘treachery’ by the lone guard, and in a short power-struggle given the Royal family was gone. She moved south and west of Al’khazar in this time, with her son, Tulric. Tulric was unlucky but he was smart, he was strong, and he was an ideal son to restart the family with. But he never seemed right, when he first grasped a sword and swung it, the blade literally flew off the hilt and through the window, nearly killing his mother. When he tried to train a wolf, it died later, hit by a passing by cart. However he met a neighboring girl, one who’d grow up to be his love interest. Her name was Kel’resa Sun-storm, she was a foreign trader from Kramaroe, wealthy, polite, and diplomatic. Tulric was happy to play with her and be her friend while her father took his goods into Al’khazar to sell.

During this time, Stephanie grew older, as did Tulric. Life went by and Tulric was already nearing thirty, his mother nearing seventy. Neither of them looked a day over thirty and it was ***** as to how this came about. In the dead of night, a group of bandits came to Stephanie’s house while her son was out with Kel’resa, foresting, and seeing a play in the Malinorian theatre. While Tulric enjoyed the play with his betrothed, his mother was being raped, being beaten, being slowly murdered for hours. Near the end of this Tulric came into the house and saw the four men. He tapped into his rage, deep down in his gullet, and drew his blade. “You bandits have no honor, no dignity, no pride. If your only legacy will be the blood I spill; so be it.” He cut them all down in a flurry of blows, dismembering them, debowling them, gutting them. He dropped his sword and walked over to his mother and held her and cried, “You are his se-seed. You’re his seed... his seed... our family, our blood, Adunian and Tarusian lives on in you- you are roya-royalty Tarus. Prosper”, as she slipped into the hands of death from the wounds she sustained. Tulric threw a torch onto the homestead and left quietly, sadly, and changed with her wife. He was no man of peace, no man of kindness anymore. He was a man of diligence, justice, servitude, and family.

Together, Kel’ressa and Tulric moved further west over the small body of water behind the Keep, near Alras, and made their Estate. Tulric, Kel’ressa, and the local men they hired all put the walls together of a lovely home behind thick high walls. Tulric and Kel’ressa felt safe finally, and Tulric made talks of going into Al’khazar, making a name for himself. “The people of Oren are good men, plentiful, and full of variety. They are the sort of people I would align myself with, they know honor as well as a Paladin knows his vows, a husband knows his wife, and a father knows his son.” He patted a young boy on the head and smiled, “I know my son well... he will be someone.” The thoughts of prosperity and acceptance into the nobility of Al’khazar were promising, but, Tulric couldn’t be alone. The Tarus family was cursed it seemed. In the night came the downtrodden bandits, his mothers murderers, who stormed his estate and slaughtered his workers. He grasped his sword and looked back to his wife, who was screaming his name to come. “I cannot, go, without me. I must protect the land I swore to raise for my son and give him something to come back to.” He stepped out the door into oblivion, for all he killed, two more rose, and he was overwhelmed. It was a bloody night indeed.

Stephanie made it to the gates of Al’khazar as the guards ran out to retrieve him. “Ma’am, are you alright?” They called to her, and she smiled a bit and fell over, with arrows in her back. They rolled her on her side and saw the babe at her tet, and pulled her off. A young Eze’kiel was crying loudly, with a thin layer of dark brown hair coming in on the crown of his head. They brought him into the city towards the Orphanage as smoke filled the distance and blood covered the road.

The Divine Charge. It is when a military leader who is in House Ishikawa charges at the enemies lines by himself to inspire his troops to move forward, it is a tactic made up by Shas’O Kais Ishikawa for his fanatical devotion to the Empire where he will charge against all odd’s to achieve victory. This tactic has had mixed results and will only be acted upon if a superior orders an Ishikawa to use this tactic.

House History:

The Ishikawa family has been going on for several generations however the founding of the Orenian House was done by Shas’O Kais Ishikawa during the reign of Emperor Godfrey who was the first monarch of the Holy Oren Empire. Shas’O Kais Ishikawa began serving Oren when he swore an oath to Zibaen Vivyaen the Duke of Westfall serving as the Captain of his Bannermen for several years before being raised to Knighthood. As Knight he under the orders of Duke Vivyaen founded the Order of the Setting Sun a Knightly Order based out of Westfall to help combat the primal tribes who bordered Oren. Through his battles and encounters he made several allies one being the Imperial Prince Alexander Horen who befriended him for saving his wife.

When Kais saved Alexander’s wife Alexander was to grant Kais a Barony in his Duchy of Pruvia. But when Alexander's wife died of birth complications Alexander committed suicide but in his last will and testimony he said Kais was to be granted the Barony. Imperial Prince and Archduke of Avalon Richard granted Kais the barony and named him a Baron of Avalon.

Once Kais had been granted the title of Baron he decided to secure his position as a minor noble and establish his House so his family may live on in Oren. Thus far Kais has come from seemingly commoner background so to be raised from that to Knighthood then to Nobility is an achievement he is proud of but does not abuse.

In Anthos Kais then swore his House under Duke Uthor Silverblade of Furnestock to recieve land that he desired, he respects Uthor and is proud to server under his House.Though seemingly coming from a commoner background Kais’s past is unknown other than his decades of service in the Oren military being an elf he has seen many battles and once held the title of Constable of Oren under the Sheffield dynasty of Kings.

Kais has had two sons from a previous marriage which ended with Kais's former spouse falling to brigands in the Old Kingdom of Salvus, his two sons are Kaisei Ishikawa and Akimoto, Kaisei will inherit the House Leadership. The House's current lands are within the Duchy of Furnestock in Anthos, the county they steward over is the domain of Yamamoto. Among the houses great accomplishments include the Orenian branches founder Shas'O Kais Ishikawa becoming the first man to hold the privy councilor position of "High Sheriff"

Uthor Silverblade: Current Lord of the House, and thanks to diplomacy and other means he has added on to his brothers Duchy making Furnestock the largest duchy in the Empire, and now it is his due to Nicolas death he is the current duke.

House History:

The house of the Silverblades had once been a great family of nobles who were very important to the humans and the elves. The family mostly made of humans and half elves had a very important position of power in how Oren would be in the future. Their members had taken high seats in the government, which had made them very well known. As time went on the family had come to a conflict, some members of the family had decided that they should move to North and defend the people there being attacked by the monsters which back then had no name, but were known for their powers of being able to shoot “Streaks of light” down from the sky. The Silverblade family divided as some stayed in Oren, as the nobles they were brought up to is, and some had gone to The Great North where they would do their best to ensure the protection of the people there.

When the family split this had left the Silverblades of Oren in a vulnerable state, the once noble family had lost many positions of power that had kept them at the top. But, with the leaving of some members in high positions the Silverblades had nearly lost their name and would need to gain it back.

As time went on a battle had erupted between the humans and the orcs, and the Silverblades had been chosen to lead the humans into battle with their great military strength and strategy. The head of house, Richar, would lead the forces and his sons would battle under him. Gideon, his eldest son, would fight as a knight and battle until the death if his father had wanted him to. Seventh, his youngest son would act as protection for his father as he was not old enough at the time to fight in a war of any kind. As the war raged on battle after battle it had been clear that the humans were winning but now the orcs had called upon their allies, the dwarves, and it was a two on one fight against the Humans. This war that was about minor differences had turned into the great war of Aegis. At this time Richar knew that they would lose if they did not attack soon, so he had his son stationed with the knights outside of the Human area, in a fort located down the road a ways. As Gideon soldiers and fellow knights watched the soldiers come up to their base they thought they would be demolished, it was twenty men to forty, and they had been out numbered two to one. But, that did not stop Gideon from battling for the Humans.

The battle had started and Gideon had deployed the men to attack. The battle had lasted three days and nights, and in the end only Gideon and two fellow knights had lasted, against the last ten men for the other side. They had fled to the barracks before the final wave of enemies had charged in. The remaining men would not cower or wait for them to go to Oren, so they needed a plan. Gideon had chosen that they would go out through the tunnels and flank them from behind. So the plan had commenced and as they walked to the front gate they began to sweat, questioning themselves “Are we going to live through this.” They halted at the front gate watching the ten men as they screamed for victory, this is when they struck. They had battled blade versus blade and strength versus strength, and as their swords clashed everyone was killed, except for Gideon and his knight friend. After the battle was over they returned to the Human capital where they fought in the last battle. It had been known that because of them killing the first army, the humans won the war. This had given the Silverblades their power back. But during the war Gideon’s father was assassinated, and Gideon had taken over as the head of the family. He was a lord of the humans now and would have to take care of his family and keep it at its noble state.

[The North]

Tis was a sad day in the Land Called Agutha were the Silverblades fled to after a family war had begun Silverblade Himself lead his family forward to the harsh lands of Agutha, A heavy snowy region with brutal cold weather. When Silverblade Arrived he had realized some very important people he loved were gone some of them stayed and some fled south to a land Called Aegis Silverblade was very saddened when he learned his wife had went south to keep the Elven side of the family safe. Silverblade kept this motion bottled inside. And soon found this land called Agutha had no major Kingdom which later would change but that is another story soon to be told. Silverblade and others of the family soon found some land and built a great manor called Galhun that one day grew into a small town for the younglings to one day build and own their own houses.

That is how they began in the northern lands. And now this is how they fell... 100years after Silverblade settled the land. The day Althos Silverblade died protecting young Braxis from a mercenary paid to kill Braxis is how it all started. A couple of days after that event Braxis left the family town of Galhun and went to seek out the murder. Once Braxis found the Murderer they clashed blades but before Braxis killed him the mercenary told him he had a note and gave it to Braxis. This told Braxis who was targeting family. Braxis worried for his family back at Galhun let the mercenary live and rushed back to his home. But alas it was too late his family estate and the town of Galhun was burning in black fire. Braxis Ran into his home to see his mother dead in a table with her food have some bites taken out of it and her face pale and not visible cuts proved she was poisoned. Braxis drew his blade and slowly walked into his house searching for his younger twin brothers the Levor and Goldleaf Silverblade but he could not and feared the worse. Braxis saw a familiar face his old friend Naxxar who went to the Black arts of magic and used it to kill off the Silverblade family and they clashed at the end Braxis won at the end. Braxis was saddened and have nothing left so he went south to travel and to find his purpose in the world.

The family of the north had fallen quickly. The remaining family had returned to Oren and re-joined the family, but they would not tell the tale of what happened. The family had re-joined together and had returned to full nobility. The two heads of family had been lords of the humans and had kept the family intact. The House of the Silverblades are nobles of humans and will fight for the humans again and again.

Therving History:

The Thervings were a clan of wealth, owning many a business in Alstion town. They became rich off the food trade, but alas, all good things must come to an end. The undead attacked. By the time the battle was over the Manor was looted, the farms burned, the workers killed, but the Thervings had fought valiantly, and earned their life for another day, if only that much. They knew they needed to leave the North. The God of Aegis had given them a second chance, and they were going to take it.

Albrecht felt sorry for the people of Alstion he had cared and supplied for, so in a last act as Captain of the Rangers, he brought as many Alstioners as he could to the Kingdom of Alras, for he no longer trusted the King of Oren who had deserted them so. House Therving swore to serve Alras until the time that they found a new home.

With the grand defeat the undead suffered at their keep in the North, man y a Northman decided to return to Alstion, to start anew, and the Thervings were among them. Albrecht returned to his houses and stalls in Alstion and decided to rebuild, better and grander than before.

Thervings went on to take roles as Privy Councilors and advisers to the next line of kings until the Phoenix rebellion in which Throdo Therving had lead through courage and bravery. In Galahar, the Thervings owned a manor and were known as a prestigious house in Renatus.

Throdo remained in power when the boats reached Auslon as a politcal figure and one who'd be seen on the council time to time. His stepfather, Boiendl, assumed the position of High Judge for the first several decades in the beginning of the Auslon.

After Godfrey had taken the throne, the capital of Arethor was rebuilt for the third time Throdo had opened up the Third Therving Tavern in memory of the late Alberchert. He had founded the farming village of Ager and absorbed a vassal under him, Lord Niko Althered. Eventually, Salvus and Hanseti were both united under Renatus which had formed the Holy Oren Empire. On this day Throdo's cousin, Patrick Denims was made Lord High Treasurer.

Many years past until Throdo was made Grand Chamberlain only soon to leave the land of Auslon in search for better lands. It was on the islands the ships of the Auslonians past is where the cousins united their houses again after they had discovered there bloodlines were the same. This begins the history of after the combination of the two split houses.

Denims History:

After the birth of Elizabeth II and Harold IV, Harold had moved to the town Alstion and Elizabeth to the Whispering Isles. Elizabeth had married an abusive lowborn who had no surname. His name was Philip. Philip had Elizabeth change her name to trick the populace of thinking that he was of nobility, this name was Denims.

The two humans had a son named Patrick. At age nine, Patrick was sent off to apprentice under a council member in the capital as his family did not like him at home. Patrick was apprenticed on Lord High Treasurer Thomas Fust who had given him a golden monocle which Patrick still wears to this day and to his grave.

The phoenix rebellion shook the Kingdom of Oren as well as the undead attack what lead the Kingdom to fall and split into the Teutonic Order and Kingdom of Renatus. Patrick was now a young adult who was employed into Renatus as a Galahar Guard.

The ships sail to the new land where Patrick assumes the position Lord High Treasurer and marries Ladasha Amador. They had a son named Thomas before Ladasha died from the plague what had swept down from Seventis. After scheming and plotting, Reynard Lycian was branded a heretic and

Patrick was granted the Duchy of Corpathia.

Another  curse to another land leads the Auslonians to sail to the new land. On the way Patrick and Throdo unite their sister Houses to form Denims-

Therving.
