A Sage in our captivity.

Recently we acquired a Sage of the Ascended in our captivity. We swiftly sought to secure him in one of our torture chambers, a fitting treatment for a being such as he. This, people of Aegis, is symbolic of the grasp we have on your realm. The influence that we have over you. This shows that your lives are in our hands, even the lives of some of the most powerful.

As I spoke to him of the harsh truths of the Ascended, I saw something highly peculier amongst the manner in which the Sage carried himself. I saw a sudden enlightenment in his eyes, He is beginning to accept the limitations of the Ascended. I sense his longing for power, I sense his frustration with his brothers.

I sense a turning of minds.

Later we also captured Arch Mage Bell. I'm sure you will agree, two magnificent captures, both symbolic of our power and the weakness of your people.

I have one thing yet to say. We are coming, and nothing, or no one, will ever save you.

Aye. It took them weeks to lumber into movement. Their sluggish responses to our actions are pathetically slow. We grew bored of him, regardless. All he wished to do was plant trees, sometimes I doubt the sanity of the Ascended. Their clarity of thought is clouded, hence their inability to fully protect the people they swear to protect.

I so swear, if you hurt ANY of them, the vengeance of the Dark Brotherhood will fall of you like a ton of bricks. And you won't be able to stop us.

Is that the same Dark Brotherhood who requested a truce and an agreement of commerce between us?

You are cowards. It is only now that we have truly struck into the Sages that you dare to defy us. Do I see you fighting us day in day out? No. Because you are ardent for some desperate glory, hoping to impress the Sages with your 'noble deeds' of rescue and salvation.

In the future I will make sure to keep the Dark Brotherhood alive a little longer, so you may fully experience the torture, pain and suffering that will come over you.

Scuse me? You'll be like the rest of aegis. The undead are already holding out against the rest of aegis so one more guild won't be a problem to them.

Of COURSE they will hurt ascended! The ascended are the dearest enemies of the undead ( as far as I know) The most holy beings and the most threat.

You may as well consider your guild an enemy already if you want no ascended to be hurt by undead.

You let him live? I thought that a powerful undead would have fun with the pathetic ascended. Slowly ripping out the small amount of dignity he may have, then finishing him off. I would see that he be crucified! Left out for many to see. Letting them know that the undead are not going to allow any mercy.

But you did what you did. :D

Fear not, the Undead often prefer to deal in psychological damage to the mind, rather than physical damage to their body. He experienced some pain, arrows lodged in his flesh. But I believe the damage to his spirit and faith to his cause will outweigh any physcial damage that we could ever do. We preferred him alive, his carcass would be little fun to taunt and toy with.

I would still only defy you if nessecery... And what commerce is this? I sanctioned non of this...

Well, the Arch Mage I left in the capable hands of my brothers. I could not stand her, for the wench of a woman she is. I'm sure she suffered, greatly.
