You should also deal with the fact that your GM and Admin team went on a powertrip and started to ban innocent people that were apart of Higher Oren (No, not talking about the people who went out with a bang.)

Stay positive folks! The ET, Antagonists and GLORIOUS SCOTTISH OVERLORD DANNY will see us through!

Just like they saw through Greywynn?

Oh, right. Greywynn was a sacrifice for the server.

Really?  You should be slow to speak about things you know little about (other than what Tornado would have you think of course).  On the Dev server it was stated that the castle would most likely be zoned or taken due to the fact that it literally is the only entrance to the North, where the antagonist lies.  The fact that we have to have such an argument over common sense is mind boggling.

For future reference.  Don't get mad if you build next to the main antagonist for the server and then are the only way for them to escape.

Greywynn was only allowed to be made on the dev server when Mirtok was calling the shots on the premise that the Antagonist could deal with it as it saw fit when the time was right, which makes sense considering the fact that he wanted Greywynn to be the barrier between the North and the rest of Anthos. It was a hard reached agreement as I understand, but an agreement was made. Tornado's taking over for Mirtok doesn't just suddenly null what was decided, so they knew all along that eventually the Antag would come. Besides, it was NOT a scripted defeat, if the Antag had lost they would have been pushed back RPly and Greywynn would have prevailed. However, they did not, and thus it is in ruin.

Do not speak of things through assumptions and speculations without knowing the full truth behind the story.

It wasn't entirely the antag's fault, I'm just kinda butthurt at how everything turned out. I was excited for future stuff happening with the TO, and then all this happens and it's easy to blame one group of people.

I'm not one to blab about crap or say stuff that's possibly confidential, but there's no real reason for secrecy about this stuff anymore. Tornado said that no one told him the castle would be taken until *very* recently. He said the previous Hochmeister knew long in advance exactly what was going to happen to the castle, but he didn't tell anyone else in the TO. And that, combined with a couple other things, is what ultimately doomed us.

Or maybe what I heard could have been completely out of context and I'm an idiot.

You know, there's no reason why the TO can't survive through this. Yes, you've lost Greywynn, but it doesn't mean you can't take it back later on down the line. Hold a grudge. Hold onto your IC anger at what the antagonists did. When the day comes when the forces of the South rise up to push back the tide of evil, have the word Greywynn on your lips as a curse. Take back your fortress, rebuilt it anew as a forward base against this threat, use it as a base to launch further campaigns. Go further, bringing the banner of the Sarients to the enemy gate, so that when their judgement day comes they know who brings justice to their door.

Don't give up, man. Nothing's over yet ^.^

Guys... The antagonist didn't even get a chance to attack Greywynn yet. You can totally build up any surviving TO to try and fight off any raids. Most of the living quarters are relatively undamaged so it is very possible that many TO survived. It was never our intention to full on destroy the castle without an attack. In fact the reason the castle is destroyed is stated in one of Tornado's threads

Thread: http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/92045-the-death-of-jonathan-black/

The breach of the tendrils on the northern wall wasn't because a raiding party of the antag did it. It is a sign that the corruption is spreading further north and more importantly we are pushing for the full release of the north. Of course there are scripted events however the battles are not scripted. If the antag is pushed back then it is pushed back and will likely puncture the northern wall in a new spot.

Locking this.

This thread has nothing to do with the antag attack.
