  1. 1. Have you enjoyed the dwarven antagonist events so far?

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone, I'm making this thread in order to gain feedback and get a better perspective on exactly what players would like for the current dwarven antagonist. After a number of events since Anthos began, we're well on the way to fully establishing it as a part of dwarven role play. So far, we've had large scale mob attacks, RP fights, PvP fights where players volunteer to play as minions, etc. Now we'd like to know whether or not you've been enjoying these events and what we've been doing right and wrong. We also ask that you give ideas for how we can develop the lore for the antagonist over time.

Please give your honest opinion as this only helps us to progress it further!

Edit: Dave requested that I post the first and second parts of the lore for the antagonist, which you can find by clicking on the link below. More of these are going to be posted in the coming days/weeks.

It was a greatly enjoyed change from the normal run of the mill events. It brought in some good fighting to satisfy the PvP fanatics, and was over all very good for on that was really patch work. If organized I think you can get some top quality events out of this! This has my support!

I think it is amazing. However, I would enjoy it if there were LOTS more large scale mob attacks. Like.... LOTS.

Such was done in the past, the only issue the lag from the mobs.

We tried our best to properly run the sudden event, though it was quite unexpected, we did our best without mobs, and also we were in-experienced with navigating in the deep roads, we had come in quite a lot dead ends.( no perms.) Though we have done our best with the event, next time it will be run more properly.

I myself played as an antagonist today and really enjoyed it. One of the problems I had today with this was that it was thrown up last second and there wasn't enough put thought into it. The fact that the event was PvP was also to my liking. Another problem that occurred to the antag was that we were outnumbered on an extremely large scale and this created problems. Overall it was a very fun in my experience and I enjoyed it. Hopefully we can get another in tomorrow and we can all combine to put our thoughts together and come up with a great, fair and fun experience for everyone involved. In a side-note it would of helped us (antag) out alot if we had the aid from spawned mobs.

The large scale was a bit of a hiccup, one player sent out just a few to many birds before we could stop him. Preferably next time it will be fully organized

As one of the volunteer antagonist minions(and pvp fanatics he he), I'd have to say it was pretty fun. Even though it was a bit disorganized, it was understandable for how quickly the event was put together. I'd love to see more of this type of thing as it was very fun being chased all around the deep roads with the rest of the volunteers, especially when shambo and I dropped down into a group of people and killed all of them :3. Overall though, it was a pretty fun event.

What about a kidnapping event where they steal a high official and run off into the deep roads with them?

Another event where they actually have an effect on the hold, prehaps capturing part of it?

An event where they eat meanking.

An event where they eat meanking.

I fully support this suggestion and I am willing to do the eating if so necessary.

It needs to be FAR more obvious who is an antag and whatnot. For examples, 30326 was traveling with our group for like a minute and nobody even noticed. That shouldn't be possible.

There is almost no way to do this apart from making everyone wear dyed leather hats or something. Before the creatures retreated to the deeproads and we chased them over the landscape I ran in the middle of their group for a minute or two and no one noticed. I broke off so I wouldn't get ganked if they found out, but point is that it goes both ways.
