~ Edict of Conversion ~

“The Beginning.”

 

His Grace, Mormear of Ardfern, Keeper of the Seal, His Hand, The Most Honourable Counsellor, Thane Viceroy, Hernan Tuairnear the First, decrees the Mormaerdom of Ardfern hereby placed under conversion of Faith. The Mormaerdom of Ardfern hereby converts from the Old Faith of the North to Creatorism, or the True Faith of the Creator.

 

Section I

Concerning Vassalage

 

His Grace, Mormear of Ardfern, Keeper of the Seal, His Hand, The Most Honourable Counsellor, Thane Viceroy, Hernan Tuairnear the First, hereby declares all vassals beneath him or holding land within the Mormaerdom of Ardfern converts to the True Faith. They are hereby forced to do so or face eviction and revocation.

 

Section II

Concerning the Mormaerdom of Ardfern

 

To comply with the language of the True Faith, the title of Mormaer that is held within the bounds of Adunia and listed in the Peerage of Adunia is hereby annulled within the Mormaerdom of Ardfern. The Mormaer of these lands shall hereby be referred to or known as the Duke, and his lands a Duchy. They hold all previous obligations that have been listed in the Edict of the Peerage of Adunia. The reason of changing is to comply with the languages of the True Faith which includes common tongue.
