~Edict from the Divine~

 

By Order of King William the third of his name, King of Oren and Divine of the True Faith the High Pontiff Owyn I is recognized for his long years of service, however the Divine has heard of the High Pontiffs struggles with sickness, with great regret the Divine has seen fit to remove Owyn I as High Pontiff of the true faith but in light of his service to the Creator the Divine wishes him to continue to serve the church as Archbishop of Ruska if he so chooses.

 

In the place of Owyn I as High Pontiff will stand Frederick Winter who will be serving this position administrating the church and faith following his own service in the Clergy and to the Creator. May he serve the creator long and faithfully.

Gavin Wold, Lord Justiciar of the Holy Kingdom of Ruska, scratches his beard upon reading the Edict, sitting with the Ruska Privy Council. The lanky man's eyes dart back and forth across the paper, taking it all in. He nods, agreeing with Goddard's statement, licking his lips slightly.
