Concerning Land Holders

 

The Kingdom of Telemar references their nobles in different titles then those commonly associated with other Kingdoms.

 

A Sovereign Prince is the largest title a Telemarian noble can hold. Similar to an Oren duke, is required to bring a host of 12,000 men to battle (12). A Sovereign Prince can accomplish this by landing multiple Marquis to help supply these men.

 

A Marquis is the next highest land owning title a Telemarian lord can have. They are loyal followers of their Kings and protect borders, they are required to bring 7,000 soldiers to battle (7). A Marquis can help reach this number by landing Barons in their March.

 

A Count is the next in the line of land holding of a Telemarian Lord. They hold a County and are required to bring 5,000 men to the battle (5). A Count can reach this number by landing Barons in their County.

 

A Baron the lowest landowning title a Telemarian lord can have. A baron is required to bring 3,000 men to battle (3).

Harrison Geminine, King of Sartoslem, paces back and forth in his tent slowly. The Treasurer of his Kingdom, Lady Sylvia, sits on the love sofa legs crossed. Her hair is brushed to the side resting on her right shoulder. An elegant Gallmorian hat sits on top of her head tilted to the side, a black veil covering her face. A small red rose lays on top of her black hat. An elegant black Gallmorian dress covers her body. Her pale skin stands out against the black clothing. She tilts her head up to look at the king. "Why are you doing this?" she asks the King, her face hidden by the vail.

Harrison stops pacing around the inside of the tent. He turns his body to face her. "It's been a week... Why have the messengers not returned?" he asks. Sylvia shrugs as she answers him. "Who knows?"
