Medi'ir

Azorella Coulissante has relinquished her position as Medi'ir. It is therefore the mali'aheral shall hold an election to replace her. Votes are to be placed in the ballot box. One may choose between the following candidates:

Dyonne

Kalameet No impure mali'aheral may run for government positions.

Talias

Waste not your vote, mali'aheral.

Delonna purses his lips for a few moments as he reads over the notes, before adding a note of his own.

Upon later inspection, a portion of the note has been removed.

Therefore, I give my vote to Iatrilemar Elervathar.  Abstain. No suitable candidates.

After considering further developments, my vote goes to Silir'ilume.

~Medi'ir Delonna Aeléyèlsa.

Ceruberr sighs softly, wishing he had heard about the available position in time to nominate himself. However as he glances between the two posters he calmly writes a name on a small piece of paper and drops it into the ballot box. It reads:

"Iatrilemar Elervathar"

((I've had a ridiculous amount of homework recently, therefore I had no time to nominate myself. But no matter! I think Iatrilemar will be great!))

Iatrilemar walks up and rips off his previous note replacing it with a new one.

It reads:

I cannot take on a position such as this with my current state.

I believe my duties towards the city are

first to take Ariana as my wife and to raise a family.

Family matters would only get in the way of

a government position. Seeing as I never officially

nominated myself this should pose little problem

to the community. However I would like to nominate

and vote for  Ceruberr Asul'Ailer even if he did not

nominate himself already. I know he was on the

fence about it but I would like to encourage him to

run, and be allowed to run for Medi'ir. I saw Azorella as

the kind heart of the council and I think Ceruberr would

logically fit that position. He is loyal and patient

and the Medi'ir this city needs.

(( ))

So in my aspiration to become a GM I have made it clear to myself

that if accepted RP will become after Moderating.

If I were accepted and my character was voted the

Medi'ir I would be robbing the opportunity from someone else

and likely not be able to justify having a government

position and a moderator one. I realize that me becoming a

GM could take years but I want to be sure I am ready

to be one even if that means forgoing current RP to prep.

Don't fret though! You have many beautiful candidates!

Dyonne looks at the note posted by Delonna with a frown before leaving to find him. "It is urgent that I clear up this misconception."

Dyonne runs back, attaching a little piece of paper to Delonna's:

I would be happy to clear up any questions on the subject of my actions should these accusations be presented to me. Such serious allegations should be brought to me by anyone who doubts my suitability for this position.~Dyonne Alusa

A single word is written onto a pinned piece of paper in neat cursive.

"Abstain."

A little grungy from her travels but her eyes filled with a new spark of ferocity, Azorella glances sharply over the various notices before catching sight of the ballot box and accompanying notices. Eyebrow arched in curiosity, she investigates further and harumphs with mild satisfaction. Sly grin forming, she scribbles a succinct vote upon a scrap of paper:

Dyonne Alusa

-Azorella Coulissante

After gathering a few supplies, the elfess heads quietly out the gate once more.

Kalameet stares at the board, his face calm and collect.

"Impure? How insulting."

Kalameet turns, walking away.

"Then I will resolve this issue."

Ceruberr is too young to take the position.

I vote and nominate Silir'ilume even if he won't himself.

A lightly blue tinted piece of parchment arrived some time later. It read three words in neat, calligraphic handwriting.

"Talias Elsiol, naturally."

Kaelthes takes a small quill, scribbling an answer on hastily.

"Dyonne Alusa is a wise choice for Medi'ir. My vote rests on Dyonne. ~Tennallar"
