The first reports have been received of a strange spectral being known as The Headless Horseman. This being has begun to venture throughout all of Anthos, and is classified as a Greater Spirit. As such, do not approach except in large numbers. Very little seems to be known about this being, except it is extremely powerful and dangerous. It is described as having a pumpkin for a head, a skeletal body, glowing eyes, and wields a scythe. As the name implies, he often arrives on a spectral horse. Should you see this being, please find a member of the Order of the Hunter's Cross. To those of you who are Hunters yourselves, we call to you to join us in our first Hunt for this entity! Prepare your blades, gold, and shields, for we go forth now!" the herald cries! The Poster URGENT Calling all members of the OHC to the Cloud Temple. A priority has been set on the powerful Headless Horseman which has begun it's blight of terror on Anthos. Investigations will start at the Ghastly Tree in the mountains, and then spread outwards to taverns, inns, and major cities all about. The Horseman has been described as having a pumpkin for a head, being almost skeletal, having glowing eyes, wields a scythe or giant executioners' axe (reports are mixed), and rides a spectral horse. Prepare yourselves, the first major hunt begins! ((OOC time will be decided upon soon.)) ((So basically, the Order of the Hunter's Cross is going to start in earnest with the hunt for Timelord_lalve's Headless Horseman. We will start with basic investigations, around the "Ghastly Tree," where it first appeared and begin to spread outwards from there, by going around to taverns and cities and questioning various inhabitants and individuals. From there, it'll be spontaneous RPing, and when we get the get-go fro Lalve, we'll move in, for the ending event. Hope to see you all around!)) ((You can try, but Lalve's is an event creature. :P He can't just die, so I'm planning more for a capture type thing, and then a cleric aided banishment from any war cleric who is willing to help. Anyhow, it's not so much the end result that matters to our guild... We're not marauding and we're keeping as much meta-gaming out as possible, and coordinating with lalve. It's not the end result that creates RP, unlike what some might think - It's the investigation through RP. The end only determines that - The ending of the story.))
