In the past week military actions have been taken all across Anthos. The first thing to happen was the Grand Kingdom of Urguan and it’s ally the Dominion of Krugmar to declare war on the Kingdom and Renatus. This declaration of war was made because Grand King Dizzy was assaulted by Renatus guards, and two Lords were slain. The conflict has had many battles within it, many with the Dwarves coming out on top. However,no big moves have been made yet.

 

Recently, The Dominion of Krugmar has switched sides and gone against the Grand Kingdom. This choice has brought the Grand King to consider an alliance with the Elves, a choice many of his Lords disagree with. This war has been largely inconclusive, even with the Orcs switching sides. Our experts suspect it to end soon with the Dwarves hiring out their mercenary groups to Oren for their war.

Horen Rebels

Former Princess Sophia Horen has had diplomatic meetings with the Shining Princedom of Malinor and the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. Thus far, the Princedom has plegded it’s official support and has begun fighting the Kingdom of Renatus and Ruska,as well as the Dominion. It is said that the Adunians and some Dwarves have been assisting Malinor without the official consent of the King or the Lords. Many of the battles however, have ended in Sophia’s forces being defeated by Orcs and Humans. The Steamer will continue tokeep you updated on this rebellion.

Beasts Assault Kal’Ithrun

The Dwarven City of Kal’Ithrun has suffered many attacks within the past week, not just from Orcs and Humans though. Rats,animated snowmen, undead, and giant spiders swarmed the city’s defenders. These rats have apparently destroyed Kal’Ithrun’s meat supply, as well as injured many of the Dwarves. Luckily, militia captain Ognar Grandaxe pulled together a quick force to drive out the rats and beasts.

Oren’s King

Recently Ostromir II has taken the throne of Oren. With his crowning, the Kingdom of Renatus, Salvus, and Ruska have been combined under the Kingdom of Oren. Oren’s new king has entered a difficult time,with two wars going on, as well as the North pushing at his borders. The people of Anthos will see if this new king is up to the challenge of handling his Kingdom and living up to his father’s name.
