Caedric upon hearing the news would retire for a few moments to the Varhelm Keep. He'd pray a quiet prayer for his son's soul and for his safe travel to the Father's Halls. "I shall join ye' soon, boy. We've anot'er war te' fight, t'en I shall see ye'." The aged Caedric says to himself.

It was great, we had a whole Plan B to do a 25v25 but the staff team refused to do it because they're too proud to admit the server is unable to host uncapped war claims. I respect their choice as it made a lot of sense to ignore a rule they put in. @Telanir

Caedric Edvardsson receives the news as he sits by the riverside of Elysium. He'd look with shock as he reads the words. He'd look to his aid and say, "A great tragedy has become our Haenseti allies." he'd think for a moment before he pulls a pen and partchment from his bag, "May t'is man find t'e Seven Skies which for which he seeks; Father protect his soul as he journeys t'ere." he'd quietly pray.

Caedric reads the first paragraph of the document, he'd shrug saying, "I've been tellin' ye' bastards, t'e Void is our true enemy. As t'e Kingdom of Orenia tries te' weaponize it an' t'e rest of t'e world ignores it's vile destructive force, we shall continue te' standfast as a bulwark against t'e Void an' all which dwells wit'out."

Caedric nods approvingly at the well written letter to the respectable Priest, "This man sees reason and his Church understands this worldly affair; the Church shall not be a political pawn of a failed King of Orenia nor shall they continue to spread lies to make their wrenched conduct during this war seem any bit more digestible."

Caedric sends out invitation to all his friends.

Caedric smiles as he drinks a celebratory drink with his friends and family.

THE TREATY OF ICE AND BONE Issued 11th of Malin’s Welcome, year 14 of The Second Age PREAMBLE In the wake of trouble stirring upon the continent of Nyrheim those honorable world powers, the Kingdom of Norland and War Nation of Krugmar, henceforth referred to as the signatories, have deemed it appropriate to combine their spheres of influence to maintain law and order within the Western half of the continent. This pact shall last exactly until a new Rex of Krugmar or King of Norland is made at which time the signatories may choose to renew it. ARTICLES: I. FULL HONORBOUND ALLIANCE II. INFRASTRUCTURE & DEVELOPMENT III. REGARDING OTHER WESTERN NATIONS IV. REGARDING THE IRON ACCORD ARTICLE I: FULL HONORBOUND ALLIANCE The territory between the Kingdom of Norland and War Nation of Krugmar are essential lands in the defense of the two great nations, as such the two powers have chosen to jointly claim and control those lands. The signatories have agreed to the following terms regarding defense between their respective realms and their jointly protected lands. The nations of the Kingdom of Norland and the War Nation of Krugmar are bound by honor to respond to conflicts when called upon by one another to aid, protect, and deliver justice upon those who would wish to harm either group: -Signatories hereby refrain from participating in any conflicts that put them at odds with one another. -Signatories have henceforth entered into a full honorbound alliance where the parties will provide military assistance to one another. -Signatories hereby agree to protect the Joint Protected Territories (see Map 1) from any unauthorized expansions of foreign nations into the Territories. -In the event of war, each signatory may issue their own demands to the offender in question, however trophies of war are to be split evenly between the signatories with no exceptions. ARTICLE II: INFRASTRUCTURE & DEVELOPMENT The Joint Protected Lands are undeveloped and empty and so the two powers hope to aid in the development of roadways and riverways. Such development shall encourage trade and travel throughout the region. The signatories have agreed to the following terms regarding infrastructure and development of the Joint Protected Territories: -Signatories hereby agree to the development and maintenance of roads and riverways within the Joint Protected Territories. -Signatories hereby agree to establish a mode of transportation between their respective realms. ARTICLE III: REGARDING OTHER WESTERN NATIONS The signatories of the Treaty of the West understand the independent and free peoples of the Joint Protected Territories and shall not infringe on their independence unless provoked. The signatories have agreed to the following terms regarding other western nations of the Joint Protected Territories: -Signatories hereby agree to accept, if jointly agreed upon, any settlement or nation which wishes entrance into the Treaty. -Signatories hereby recognize any settlement or nation within the Joint Protected Territories who actively seeks to undermine, assault or harm any other nation within the Treaty as a breach of the peace and an attack against all signatories. ARTICLE IV: REGARDING THE IRON ACCORD The Kingdom of Norland’s ties to both the Kingdom of Haense and the Grand Kingdom of Urguan may cause conflicts of interest between the signatories of the Treaty of the West, the Kingdom of Norland and the War Nation of Krugmar shall make great effort so as to avoid such conflicts. The signatories have agreed to the following terms regarding the member states of the Iron Accords: -The War Nation of Krugmar is under no obligation to aid in the defense of Iron Accord member states, unless explicitly stating their support. -The War Nation of Krugmar shall refrain from entering into conflict with any Iron Accord member state, if conflict is had the Kingdom of Norland shall immediately make attempts to coordinate diplomatic solutions. -The Kingdom of Norland will not partake in any potential conflict between the Iron Accord and the War Nation of Krugmar, unless it is a war of aggression against a member of the Iron Accord. Treaty of the Eastern Flame Issued 13th of the Amber Cold, Year 22 of the Second Age Articles: -Non-Aggression -Trade Agreement -Recognition of Sovereignty -Duration PREAMBLE: This article serves as a formal pact agreement between the Kingdom of Norland and the City State of Yong Ping, hereafter referred to as the signatories. ARTICLE I: Defensive Alliance Signatories have agreed to the following terms regarding a Defensive Alliance: -Signing parties will agree to aid each other in a military capacity when either party has been offended or enters into a defensive conflict with an external nation. -Signing parties refrain from participating in any conflicts which put them at odds with one another. Further, there will be no conflicts between citizens or families of note within either state. -When visiting either signatories’ territories, citizens are expected to abide by the laws upon which soil they step foot on and respect the local customs. -Should an issue or conflict arise which breaches this article, the signatories agree to handle the matter via the appropriate, diplomatic channels. ARTICLE II: Trade Agreement Signatories have agreed to the following terms regarding trade: -Signing parties will be given a market stall free of rent in each other's cities. -Signing parties will agree to trade specialty goods free of tariff, in forms of both monetary exchange and/or bartering. -The signatories agree to the construction of a ferry between the city of Varhelm and the city of Yong Ping that will be paid for equally by the signatories. -A reasonable fee will be put in place for use of this ferry, the profits of which will be split evenly between the Norlandic and Yong Ping treasuries. ARTICLE III: Recognition of Sovereignty Signatories have agreed to the following terms regarding recognition of sovereignty: -Signing parties will recognize their respective Realms as independent lands ruled by their respective leaders, and will make no efforts to subvert those authorities in power. -Signing parties will recognize the true name of the continent of Nyrheim, or Xin Zhou, and abandon the old Brev name. ARTICLE IV: Duration This accord shall remain in effect for a period of eight years, with the option to renew its terms to be discussed at the time of its expiry. Caedric nods, at the rare glimpse of honor in the Church of Canon, he'd say to those around him, "I wish t'is man luck. He 'as uncovered an ugly and political wound these Orenians wish te' keep covered up. I wish ye' 'em best of luck in 'is effort but do fear 'is life is endangered from t'ose 'e calls kin fer' such whistleblowin'." He'd return to training for his raids on Orenian soldiers upon the road. Being outnumbered means you best be more skilled than the others.

Shakes his head at the thought Orenian bastards slaughtered women and children in a peaceful farming village.

Caedric lets out a hearty laugh as the Norlander makes his return, he'd prepare to meet him for a drink.

Caedric laughs a great laugh, resting after the great flight of Lobsters from Southbridge, he'd read the missive with a smile and say, "T'e Kingdom of Orenia loses one more potential out. T'e Eirik guides t'eir King of t'eirs, an' ours, it seems!"

Caedric updates the Rurikkid Clans' Motto and adds in the Vildr Clan Motto.

Caedric receives the missive as he prepares for the war, he'd smile a wide smile as he finishes reading.

Caedric purges Clan Willow and Clan Grimlee from their positions and moves them to Defunct Clans before he writes in the newest Clan, CLAN VANARI.

Caedric smiles reading the document, he'd aid the others in getting a bird sent to all nations.

Caedric smiles at the news, he'd think of all the Orenians who would be angry.

Caedric receives the news as he finishes his long march home. He'd smile as the words of war reach his ear, "T'eir decadent Kingdom shall be forfeit an' we shall raise our banners over t'eir dead and fallen; all for t'eir lying an' honorless actions."

Caedric receives the document via bird, he would begin reading it as he climbed a great mountain, "Ah, finally. Years in the making the refined ideas of our faith published." he'd say between deep breaths, "We always needed a stricter orthodoxy." As he reached the top of the summit he'd look over the brutal yet serene landscape as he ponders the contents.
