  1. The Mori Deleter reads this missive as they stand atop their tower in the very center of Norland's newest fortress capital of Verdrgrad, massive warbow in hand, the very same bow that slew Mori 8 at a time across the horizon. "Not all hope is lost for this generation, perhaps they still remember how Norland was the only nation to defeat the Mori on Nyrheim, how we killed them in the uncountable hordes." The elder spake to the maiden of metal at their side. "Though it is perhaps good the other nations were so ineffective at exterminating the Mori, it leaves more for me kill after so long." A fragment of this ancient archer spoke then: "To set new records, and to feed the descendant of Aartvamn, let us see how many more of their corpses we can stack."
  2. The Wandering Laird obtains a folded paper airplane of this missive at the Petra tourney ground after practicing with and teaching a few of the nobles and royals, feeding it to their book which then reads the contents to them. Content to see it is set at a time when they may be available, plans to attend are made. For mina and their generational visit. Once home, the missive is also shown to their wife Blanca. "You can meet the newest Renildes and Amelies and Matthews and the others!" @EmiliainWonderland
  3. Demon Deleter agrees with Valyris and Valentina on the sentiment: We're just gonna kill 'em.
  4. The Shogging King naps the Sun's sleep.
  5. This seems very underpowered, perhaps lower the emote cost. For example, 5 emotes to fire a shot that stuns for 2 turns OR 3 emotes for a potion that paralyzes for 2+ iirc (Cockatrice Breath) OR 2 emotes for a bola. You can throw 2.5 bolas in the same time as one shot with more or less the same effect. Most CRP encounters (besides massive events) end in 10 emotes or less, the fight is more or less decided by the time you can loose one shot (that will be *dodged). 3 emotes for a bow was already agonizingly slow, 4 emotes is downright painful, 5 emotes is borderline unplayable. For further consideration, I can throw something at you and still have time to leave CRP entirely. Or I can move 40 blocks. Or I can entirely expend boomsteel uses. Or I can reset your emotes with a random rock I find on the ground, and with enough rocks stunlock. (Each of these options resetting you to 1/5) Other than balancing, I like the concept of archery getting something to make it more interesting and fun, I can only hope normal people will get something eventually as well. I say this all because I know the pain of being an archer and want this to not be entirely outclassed into pointlessness. It used to be that woad bows took 1 emote more than other bows but gained massive railgun penetration for it. Very good formatting on this btw, very pretty.

  7. The Laird of Grenzstadt is brought this missive, having it read to them. When they had left the room it had seemed the others were in agreement that the only response to the messenger would be the same as it had always been. In the words of Adalsteinn 'Noble Stone' Eiriksson: Go **** yourself. The signatoree's names are noted as traitors and cowards. Let their names forever be tainted in the history of the Kingdom of Norland as honorless bastards who only serve as disgraces to their lines and a lesson on how to shame themselves in the most Heartlander of ways.
  8. "Norlanders never kneel." Spoke the Laird of Grenzstadt.

  11. "Some give gifts." Io replies after a moment of looking at the missive upside down. "Though it's not necessary. Oftentimes there are small battles between the husband and wife with their friends and family as bannermen, though the past few weddings have been somewhat boring." Io hums in thought for a few moments more before continuing. "It is always best to be prepared for battle, whether it be friendly or not. Beyond that there are not many preparations, I think. My own wedding was at my family's crystal tree. My mom officiated, with Blanca's cousin to witness, and my grandfather's cannon so it could be cannonist for her family." Io reminisces with a rare smile. "I have been to many weddings in many nations and lands, oftentimes being there is enough." Io concludes with a singular nod, returning the missive without having read much beyond the key words.
  12. The Carrot King fights his own wars in a distant land. The Freysson King becomes increasingly sullen with each missive witnessed. The Archer King begins to prepare armaments as the missive is read to them, briefly confused at which Vansk is meant. The Prodigal Son considers coming home from his studies. Each was disappointed.
  13. "Ayy guy, you show up when the world needs you most or seems most fun to you. I'm already DMing you as we speak. (Metaphorically)" I say, in an rp way that will surely not incur forum warnings again.
  14. The Dragonslayer is gonna win so good.
  15. The Chieftain of Anarórë, and expert blacksmith, considers switching from Moonerite to Lunarite.
  16. The Head Researcher of Mana Laws of the Bard's College is hard at work (slowly mulling over) the Norland branch's revitalization.
  17. "Would be very cool to have the ability to cast Bardomagery/Bardmastery spells for flavor." Comments a certain, now shrunkified, bardomaster.
  18. The Laird of Grenzstadt and Chieftain of Clan Anarórë prepares their equipment and cannons once more for war in the midlands along with a few pancakes for the march.
  19. The Laird of Grenzstadt sat upon the comfortable pink lounge chair beside the window of their trophy room. Gazing across the square letters were read out in a continuous drone until a few keywords struck the ear. "They're marrying sooner." Spoke the Laird. "Perhaps it is better that they do." Replied their own voice. "What is an Arr-Ess-Vee-Pee?" Asked the first voice to the second. "Randomly Selected Versus Person." Replied the seemingly all-knowing voice. "A strange way to choose the teams for their skirmish." Commented the first. "Return Serious ViPers." Suggested the second. "I think that's supposed to be two words. Perhaps Really... Something... Very... Possibility." Hazarded the first. "Rarely Serene Volatile Phenomenon." Estimated the second. "Maybe it's like smrt." Guesstimated the first. "Yes, well, anyway, it says to sign a smrtrsvp with our name. Perhaps it would be best to ask when we arrive." Decided the second. "Oh okay. What other letters are there?" Inquired the first. "Something about our kha's extended warranty... an auction on honey... a letter from Emilitia that the hay stockpiles are overflowing, dangerously so... a letter about the end of the world and doom and webs and mortals... a letter from an adoring fan... two, or maybe three, other wedding letters..." The second droned on and on. "I don't like reading." Complained the first. "Nor do I, and I'm made of book." Counter-complained the second. "Maybe I return to my nap." Concluded the first, standing from the comfortable pink lounge chair and wandering back through the clan home to their bedroom to nap on their comfortable carrot-themed beanbag chair instead.
  20. Long time Norlandic friend of Matthew Galken receives a letter. It would have been set aside with all the other unread letters were it not for the insistence of their letter-sorting living doll that this one not be ignored. Opening the letter then showing it to their book to read for them the contents would be discovered. "I never miss." Comments The Greatest Archer as they make plans to visit extended family and the childhood home of their wife.
  21. The old Ashguardsman is too busy Standing Against the Long Dark and Cleansing the Unworthy in a distant land to witness such shameful displays. The Peacemaker reads upon the latest news of his son and where once only pride and satisfaction sat now was the beginnings of a throne of disappointment. Perhaps this wrong may yet be undone and the accounts balanced before his only son breaks a multi-generational line of kings. The Greatest Archer continues to nap, so unimpressed by the events of the kingsmoot and the current crop of evildoers that to them nothing of note happens. Each hopes for their Great Norlandic home to not be abandoned by its people at the height of its success. A success built upon centuries of hardship and struggle so that one day today might have finally arrived.
