Katia Godunov, the mentioned betrothed of the late Analiesa's eldest son, Viktor, sat static, in expression and body, within her own home upon word of the news reaching her. She reminisced of their first meeting in Karosgrad, and later the Karosgrad siege, their stay at the monastery. She truly knew not of Princess Royal well, beyond stories and passing rumors, but she had held a deep, overwhelming respect for her even still. Later that day, she herself wandered to the Ruthern manor, deigning a faint, sympathetic smile in search of her fiancée.

'Kat,' as she was so oh-so endearingly referred to as, scanned the given missive attentively, seeming rather contemplative in this moment. "Ai, ai, perhaps et es." She rather vaguely answered, leading to a pause. After a moment, the Godunov then declared, affirming her statement with a nod, "...Ea'll start preparing." -
Katia Godunov grumbled something under her breath, "By ve will of ve Anvil..."

Penned by Walentyna Stasia Jazloviecki, 11th of the Amber Cold, 1897 House Jazloviecki has been one of turbulence and turmoil as of the last decade, facing many hardships from many different foes and internal sources alike. Unfortunately for all of us remaining, we have yet another to tally, concerning the sudden disappearance of Borys IV, the now former Jazloviecki Patriarch, and heir apparent of the House. We, as the remaining members of the house, cannot overstate our grief and confusion for Borys, who was a proud and upstanding boy who had great things envisioned for our house, and to have these opportunities so spontaneously stripped from all of us is nothing but heartbreaking. As the succession line falls, I, Walentyna Stasia Jazloviecki, shall be the new Matriarch of House Jazloviecki, but with my continued illness causing me to be unable to effectively take responsibility for our family, Lady Bianka Ophelia Jazloviecki will take the reins over our House for the foreseeable future. From this point onward, we may only attempt to look past this tragedy, and focus on the future for our house and look for greener pastures in our stint in Petra, and anywhere else time may take us. A teary-eyed Walentyna Stasia Jazloviecki held the letter tight, frustratedly notching the fingers of her hand into the paper, crumpling the paper in the vicinity of her hand, and in the process, balling said hand into a fist. "Why..?" she'd hopelessly mutter. Tears fell from her cheeks and onto the letter as she read the paragraph over and over despite her now clouded vision. What was she looking for, and what did she expect to change? Whatever the answer may be, she likely knew it didn't change what she heard that day, and what her new reality entails.

Zinnia Oankerk was born in a rural section of Haense on a particularly bleak winter night in the year S.A 33 to two rather apathetic, though present parents, Iosef and Anzhelika Oankerk. Being an only child, Zinnia often sought out a great deal of things from her parents, whether it be leisurely activities, approval, or even just conversation, as a result of this close, almost restrictive bond she had with her parents, she'd interact with the other children and people of the town rarely, if at all, making her rather unpopular among the population of her hometown. This would later go on to affect Zinnia mentally throughout the rest of her life, often thinking very negatively of people outside of her family, and the world outside of her home in general by extent, this thought process would later contribute to her misanthropic attitude that she'd soon develop. In her place of education, she preformed decently well, exhibiting a substantial amount of intelligence, though showing a distinct lack of motivation in contrast. As she grew older and into adulthood, she quickly picked herself a routine to follow, this routine consisted of waking up at the crack of dawn, working in a farm for most of the day, and going back home to a seldom rationed meal, before drifting off to sleep. While she kept at it, she quickly grew sick and tired of the routine, often times going several days without differentiating anything in her life. This repeated routine further contributed to her misanthropic outlook on existence as a whole. More recently however, Zinnia began to slowly distance herself from the routine, convincing her boss to cut down hours through less than wholesome means, as well as supplying her with more pay. As a result of this increased time away from her work, she began to take side-gigs to further her increasing wealth, as well as to distract herself from the monotonous cycle that she had previously locked herself in for the past half-decade or so. Today and onward, she continues to differentiate herself and her life from her routine, though, her misanthropic attitude persists, due to her overall disdain for those around her, often seeing people as obnoxious or tiring.
