Hey!
I'm a Neutral party. I'm not involved with either side! I personally vouched for the Halflings when it was discussed but in the end it's not really my decision and I left it to the staff teams to handle.
So, as a Neutral Party, here you go on my opinions.
The Halflings haven't really done any harm being inactive on a random strip of land. This is my opinion, mind you, and I mentioned it a few times. At the beginning, I was curious as to why the decision was made.
However, since the events that occurred the Halflings have reacted absolutely terribly to the decision.
We get you're mad. We understand you're mad - but here's the thing getting mad doesn't solve problems. It never will, it only leads to more problems than before. Again, I'm a neutral party, I was never in these skype chats or ts chats and I didn't have a hand in any decision. From what I've seen, the attitude and behavior of the halfling community to this warrants nothing. It's pretty hard to defend you guys. Each time you attacked a staff member, pulled out honestly preposterous rumors and slander it got harder and harder to actually make a case for you - you made yourself look like right assholes.
Again, before you rile up on me this is what your actions have left a neutral staff member thinking. This is just from observing staff chats and seeing the things you say - perhaps they may be out of context... but, given the terminology you used, the self-righteous attitude, and the heavy amount of swearing - I lean toward the idea that it doesnt matter what context it's in. You handled the situation poorly. While at the same time it obviously seems clear there are issues on the staff's end of things the actions taken by the halflings were poor, to say the least.
These are my two cents. Still neutral, just putting in some thoughts.
