don't be wishy-washy about this. if you're leaving, then let LotC be nothing but a vestige of the past as you move on toward a bright future. but if you're unsure, then make any foes you have here into friends and forgive your enemies for their past indiscretions rather than go on about leaving when you're somewhat obviously still concerned about the actions you've taken in-game.
