    For those interested, I have been told by a few people that the cannons we had were Oren's copies of cannons Alras had made, but which never actually worked, so cannons were not ever developed, and were only copied in a powergaming way.

      They were made out of obsidian. Obsidian, people fail to realize, is, and may even be worse than, glass. Not even to mention I crafted the barrel with incredibly wrong proportions to even begin to be used for the outline of a cannon. Plus all of these cannons blew up when Hanseti attacked Renatus, when fired the GM over seeing it put a massive hollow ball of glass around the firers and spammed fireballs into them.
