Also want to point out that after recently rejoining the server, my second encounter was a spontaneous kidnapping which lead to me being sold off to who I presumed was helping me out. But in fact was all a clever ploy to endanger me further as they lead me into a basement and in a drunkern act attempt to cut my ears. That was bloody fantastic! OOC'ly we agreed an a outcome that was fair for all players involved. Simply put, VA's wouldn't have allowed that to happen so spontaneously. If I encountered a problem I could have easily flagged a GM.

As a past supporter of VA's I can understand the appeal however, the lust for control must stop and more faith should be put into the community to resolve their own matters. Tools and structure should be implemented to support their Roleplay not hinder it. One of the best tips that benefits all areas of roleplay is; if you witness shody o mediocre RP explain what they are doing wrong and try to help them trough RP. Having a massive load of OOC clauses and applications is like a safety net that sadly catches all the gems this community has to offer. I propose you dismantle year teams and employ them as extra GM's who can ensure Roleplay is done correctly and in everyone's best interest. Making mistakes is the only way people learn. Everyone power games once in their lives but a guiding hand is more beneficial than a pimp smack to the face.

I feel you may have misunderstood me. We do not wish for you to change it. Nor are we in a place to demand it. It's just bad practice to have two servers with similar world names. That is the only point I wish to raise. It is not just "another location" though, it is another roleplay server that shares a common likeness. What you do about that is your business not mine. I should mention that I am the Owner of that server and I show little discontent. I am sure it is nothing but coincidence, we just wished to bring it to your attention. So can we take this down a notch?

I wouldn't consider it nitpicking. Neuronic brings up a very valid point, as do I. Having a server almost sharing a world name with another is bad in many ways. Neither of us are suggesting you change it though. We are in no place to do so. However, I feel there is no need to make a mountain out of a mound. It doesn't take a week to change a name. It would be no different than fixing a grammatical mistake. Nobody is doubting the work you and your colleagues have put in either. So please, do not let our discontent get in the way of the awaited event.
