So when people meme about things that are BAD by making say, jokes at the expense of the subject; ie things like Nazi jokes, racist jokes, etc., they are punished because they MIGHT actually believe or agree with those things and are making them...unironically? Or is it ironically?
And on the other hand, if people meme about things like #FreeHongKong – which I’d hope no one actually disagrees with – it’s also bad because they DON’T believe in the subject of the joke/meme or whatever?
People are meming the **** out of this new rule you put forth and using #freehongkong as an example. All this does is potentially spread awareness to people who might not have caught wind about it yet. And if you think anyone is saying “Free hong kong” ironically you must be delusional or otherwise have solid proof of such.
This is dumb. This is a whole lotta dumb.
