  1. 8/10 for history's sake. As for mine, It's simple because it was drawn in paint, during the Aegis time period. I haven't every bothered to change it...call me an old stick in the mud.
  2. 10/10 because there is that little swirl I love on your shirt.
  3. Leyu looks up from her fields of pumpkins as the leaves slowly age and grow around her. Soon it will be time to plant the seeds of the year. As she sits upon the earth weeds clinched in her soft aged hands a whisper comes to her. An old friend is gone. Delvers shall be in morning. Bowing her head in prayer she murmurs, "Dearest Aerial, keeper of souls and wisdoms not of this earth. Hear my prayers today as Jonathan Elers leaves our world for yours. Let not our heartache, nor fond memories keep him from your grasp. See him well received that he shall smile down upon all those who are his children, his students here still with us." Leyu looks up from her prayer, the plants around her seems to stretch back up toward the sun as if they too were honoring the sacred words. Smiling she continues her work. "Much to do yet, much to learn"
  4. *Word of the competition reaches Leyu from one of her students. Her eyes widen with excitement. So it begins...again. ((You seem to be under some impression that there isn't a story, or that this is just /some/ Orc. Clearly by the look of this man, he is not normal and has been through hell and back. Perhaps the victor will have the opportunity to learn more. Which will undoubtedly prove more valuable than the axe itself. As for the tournament can you clarify the armor section a bit. Specifically "All 1-on-1s are Bo5 with grand finals being Bo7" As not everyone is likely familiar with the terminology. Also, You are allowed to bring armor to the free for all, but it will be wiped at the end? Or will you not be allowed to use your own gear at all? Similar question for the 1on1s, Will artisans and merchants be allowed to trade wares at the event, perhaps a few concession workers selling various tasty treats as well?))
  5. ((Come to Polaris and find out, its not a hard shop to find on the main drag))
  6. ((Although you may not be adding members at this time, perhaps in the future. https://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/119025-breathing-stone/ )) Crysh walks near the great tree the Druids call home, gazing up at its tops and shuddering at the cold surface air as it blows upon his skin. *Shaking his head to himself as he approaches "People live in a place like this? absolutely mad it is...."
  7. *Crysh sits upon the smooth cold stone bench, recently carved out. Pieces of stone still litter the floor around the room. As Leyu walks out of the room, the sound of crunching rocks beneath her feet vibrate the small space that is Crysh's workshop in Polaris. Bright rays of sunlight invade the space which is usually only lit by dim torches. Crysh squints his eyes under the strain of brightness his face frozen like the bench with a furrow. Speaking softly to himself as the door slides closed with only the slightest sound of stone upon stone. "What does she mean?" Holding a few pieces of the stone she gave him in his hand, looking down upon them with a mix of emotions ranging from irritated frustration to completely exacerbated confusion. "How could these be alive?" As he sits there shaking his head thinking about all the strange jobs the Oracles have sent him on before this day, surely this one shall be one of the strangest. Life goes on in little Polaris, Crysh toiling away at his mine tirelessly working towards a grand project most inhabitants of the land shall never seen, even most of the city far above has little clue what takes place far beneath their feet. It had been weeks since Leyu had last brought him flowers for Blooming Steel. His growing smithy shop above on the surface where he also sold flowers for his teacher, on the occasion that she actually brought any. Smiling at his latest tunnel in a long set of routes that mazed beneath the city a thought struck him. Brushing off the dirt and grim from his hands and wiping them upon his pants, which were also quite dirty and did little to aid him. He reached out and pressed his hands upon the firm stone beside him with both palms, a technique he had done several thousands of times. This time he did not do as he normally did, which was to soften the rock with flows of water and beat it mercilessly to tiny stones. Instead he just sat there for a moment, the cold of the stone slowly seeping into the palm of his rough hands. Focusing his mind as the Oracle had taught him he began to enter a deep nearly slumber like meditation. Reaching out with his mind to anything that would listen....nothing As he stood their his patience while great compared to many of his Dwarven kind began to slowly falter. The peaceful inner voice slowly started giving way to the inner rage and frustration. Trying to calm himself he began to hum. Very softly at first and building into a triumphant roar fit for the great mead halls. The sound echo'd down the twists and turns of the tunnels, vibrating the stone and pebbles upon the ground. Crysh could feel the vibrations of his deep melody and slowly began to recover from his inner ire. After a few moments he stopped his hum and just listened as it echoed back to him growing slowly softer. As it grew fainter and fainter he noticed something else....something echoed besides his tune from the rock. It flowed like a deep heartbeat, following the ups and downs of his melody as a deep shadow from the mountain. It was quite difficult to hear at first but as he listened for it. he became more accustomed to its nuances. A great wide smile spread across his face as he realized what Leyu had meant for him when she told him one day he would seek out the guidance of the Druids, to understand the life of the stones he so preciously guarded. Some how, the stone was alive and for those who listened it would speak to them. What stories would it share, what riches would it give?
  8. In response to this here is a carefully crafted poem that says all you need to know. Native is to soft beards, What, Cappy is to Iron beards. The End, Everyone have a H'c'appy Day!
  9. Now that you have cleaned up the forums.....whats next.....how about all those floating trees? Joking aside, good work Vipy, always on the look out for something to do. That is a quality rare among men.
  10. I don't believe it is crap...I smelled my monitor several times and got whiff of nothing more than slightly scorched plastic...and perhaps a few Cheetos crumbs. Could be expanded a bit, I'm sure you'll do well at it.
  11. *Crysh eyes the poster with interest, his hands to dirty to write a letter himself fetches someone to prepare it for him. Dearest Mariane'a Fournier, Imperial Enchanter Of Oren, I believe I have recently acquired one of your books while in trade with another man. Unfortunately I am at a loss however, I do not understand the ways in which it is to be used. I would be grateful for whatever assistance you may provide and may also be most willing to do further business should this endeavor prove useful. -Crysh Irongut, Polaris Blacksmith and Matermason *The letter is sealed with a blue symbol of the Irongut Clan, smudged with dirty bits of earth atop it. ((If you could help me understand what to do with these books I would be most grateful, and like the letter implies. I have a small smithing operation that I would love to sell more specialized pieces sharing credit with whichever enchanter I can find to aid me.))
  12. *Rumors spread of an Irongut face not seen in ages. Word of Crysh Irongut working tirelessly upon an unknown project in Polaris. As any proud Irongut would, he shall remain until the project is seen through.

  14. I knew you would do good things for the LMs :)

  15. Perhaps what we have is simply a lack of communication. While there may be /some/ creatures that are locked unjustly, I would think as others have mentioned that some creatures/magic are locked to prevent misuse, widespread use, and misunderstanding. I'd suggest a beastiary of sorts be created by the LM team, "Sorry for creating work for you, but you lot are the best for the job." Attached to the list could be general descriptions for each creature, more advanced information for those creatures which are more common. Aka Dire Bears, Wraths, Ghosts, ect..... I'd also like to see which ones are openly playable, and which ones require special permission, and who may be contacted to learn more information oocly. Thanks, -Dom
  16. Do the VIP's still get the flat mina amount to start with, I logged into Athera for the first time with only 100 minas. The /vipclaim was kind enough to give me some ice, food, wooden tools "Might consider upgrading these to at least iron.....kinda just junk that got tossed to the road", half a stack of iron "Very pleasent surprise for a new player", and 1 iron woodcutting axe...which I latter used and found out that players with low skill level shouldn't do...such a wasted shame :(. I was also curious, about the donator plots.....and how we claim them, if its still possible with the nexus system? -Thanks and gj overall :)
  17. while the update is going on, will the donation page be updated as well. Links to pages that explain the perks more fully would be fantastic, perhaps even pages that explain how to use some of them. Such as the more unknown uses of craftbook/lwc, and what sort of things you can expect to find in your /vipclaim rewards.
  18. Does your beard hang low? Does it wobble to and fro? Can you tie it in a knot? Can you tie it in a bow? Can you throw it o'er your shoulder Like a continental soldier Does your beard hang low?

  19. You are entitled to 15% as this post is a child of the overall forums. May the Adverts favor you. Farewell Telanir it has been a pleasure. And good luck in school and the new business....If I may inquire one last thing. What sort of business?
  20. I'm not opposed to questions to test their RP, and Knowledge of rules and lore. I'd rather see focus on this than bios.
  21. ^Couldn't agree more. Instead of starting with a story written, let them start with page one and develop it upon the server. There are better ways to test their understanding of server lore, and grasp on the English language/grammar than writing page long bios. We should sit down and write out what we Want new players to know, What we expect them to know, and What would be nice for them to know. Then develop the application and joining process to fit those desires and needs.
  22. A good time to sell all these fine Enchanted Helms of Waterbreathing...Now a discounted friend price of 10,000 Minas each.
  23. I've been bugging Tythus about this error. Hopefully he hears our prayers and answers us soon.......I would also like to see books and cheesecake added to the recipes. ;) O...and world peace, yes yes of coarse that as well.
  24. The hard part will be getting them all to actually log in and fight. "Without using magic powers"
  25. Leyu will be very cross with you when she learns this...good show!
