First Question: With the removal and newly added recipes for lava buckets and Obsidian the difficultly for new players to even begin enchanting has grown nearly impossible. It is currently the only profession that requires a Vetran Stonemason, Tinkerer, Woodcrafter, and Farmer. Are their plans to make the list of enchantments more useful/repairable, Or plans to make starting this profession easier for new players? Second question: What are the serves plans in regards to war, from last nights event It seems the server changes were not enough to prevent massive spikes, Perhaps some thoughts on how to wage massive battles...split up into heats, or back toward a "Champion" approach.

Sooo lots of views but no comments? Is there a purpose for the enchant if it doesn't do anything?

Had someone make me a Diamond Pick with Fortune I, Tested it on several bits of redstone and coal and it only drops the same amount of material as my normal un-enchanted pick. Tried it approx 4-5 times on coal and redstone. Got 1 coal per block, and 5 redstone each time with either pick. Maybe there is some other hidden benefit to fortune like higher casket drops....but that would be difficult to prove I think, and OOC nor forum searching yielded any results like that for me. Thanks! PS this isn't a complaint in any way, just a sticky note. Everything else has worked beautifully so far.

Any word on when the Obby will be mineable here again? I was hoping to build an enchant table for funsies.

I'm a bit confused maybe you could clarify. Do you want gifts to be OOC? Or are IC gifts allowed also. I have some very nice things I could gift away IC, or even OOCly but In game, Out of game artwork and such....ah not my area of expertise I'm afraid.

I've been working on something similar to this from the earliest days of Aegis. However I like to keep things interesting, and by that I mean I have hidden the works within books scattered about hidden in the world. You never know when a random book shelf my end up a poor mans treasure. Happy Hunting.

Yup, I'm hoping to combine several of those along with as many unknown characters we can gather still floating around. I think it would be a great help for new players creating their characters to be able to connect them with family's. Instead of just saying "Direct descendant of Malin's glory."

It's an ambitious task, perhaps impossible but none the less we are a proud race of Elves. Rather you call your self, High, Dark, Blood, Wood, Snow, or any other variety of pointy eared creature I call for your aid. I wish to construct a family tree going all the way back to Malin himself. I know many areas will be grey and a bit confused, but there is no way I can do this without quite a lot of effort. I seem to remember a catchy tune about the King of Oren growing tired of his marriage and eating his wife in public. Was quite a catchy tune if memory serves me right. I know Delsalva once held many books of tunes within his tower also. I'm sure if you look around long enough a few will still surface.

The FM's do a great job at archiving old topics and deleting useless ones. But the more Sections we create the harder it is for new players to navigate and find the right place to find things.

Can't you just FRP without a subthread? Pick a race/city/nation thread of your choosing, start a wonderful piece of RP....if the scene migrates from that place to another, start a thread in the new place and continue. This way your stories spread across the realm in a natural fashion, likely picking up players you might not otherwise catch the attention of while secluded in a thread often not visited by the majority of players. Nothing personal, I love FRP myself, and am a member of many FPR groups elsewhere that exist in no other medium. But I also love a less cluttered forum. Sometimes from out sacrifice comes serendipity. Lets see if we can find some.
