  1. So I can be a counterbalance around here.. Most people, like yourself are for PvP, I am hardcore RP.. Most people, like yourself are stupid, I am smart.. Get it? Kebab, because I adore ISIS
  2. Ask me anything, and I'll answer in the most toxic way possible. :) PS: Take a joke, none of this is serious
  3. Sounds nice, I can create a new character and start Roleplaying. Everybody likes a nice backstory that can come back to you.
  4. 2 scared to shitpost, so I'll let you guys circlejerk eachother.. <.<
  5. Steampunk and Fantasy Forest? Alright then.. Lets get to it! PS: This is not the final build xD
  6. How many players do you think can work in an event? 1 to 1000. It really just depends on how you execute the event. Some events, like the Aegis downfall etc.. Had more than 300 players participate. While others, such as an Event Team member emoting that an Apple falls on someones head from a tree, requires only 1 to 2 people. Did you like the old 'bounty board' monster hunting events? No. I thought it was a cheap way to attempt to make events more organised, and I found it to be a waste of time when it finished. It holds no real purpose other than saying that it is an Event. What is your opinion on PvE in events? They are great, but should be done with much thought. It shouldn't be the same thing again and again, but actually attempt to make it both have sense to it, and also not a hak 'n slash simulator. What do you think of allowing some events, such as dungeons and fights, to be repeatable to allow different groups to experience the same event? Yes, but again, don't make 1 time events that is supposed to be 1 time event, be doable multiple times. Put some thought into how you could make an event, which would make sense to do multiple times. If you have a troll in a cave, and the troll dies.. The Troll is dead, don't make more than 1 troll.. What is your opinion on large event storylines? How can they be improved? Give more information to the average player, and don't just have the event have impact on 1 or 2 specific groups. Make it more understandable and make it affect the whole server in some way. And no.. I am not talking about another plague.. I am talking about something which would effect the way that people react to, for example, rain or the water around a specific island, or a place in the ocean known for taking down ships.. Tl;dr Be ******* creative.
  7. As European, all I thought at first was.. "Wait.. There isn't 23 months in a year!"
  8. You have to start somewhere I suppose.
  9. Then add it as an Subtype to Mental Magic, like Cognitism is now, since it is sort of like Hydro and Pyromancy in Evocation.
  10. You ask the people involved the roleplay and then you can in turn be creative with the way that you explain certain details that is left untouched by the players. Stuff like.. A rat underneath the plank floor, seeing up at the scene, or some wierd smell.. So that you still take the essence of the memory of the player, yet still being creative with your own perception of the event.
  11. Retrocognition (The Reader) The user can discern the past and past events using various means, usually entering a trance while seeing and hearing a noted past event, whether it be concerning themselves or of an unfamiliar lineage in a past occurrence. Occasionally spontaneous. Retrocognition is a form of Magic, that is mostly inherited from previous relatives, however can be self-taught, with intense meditation and years of isolation. The purpose of Retrocognition, is nothing more than for the sake of Roleplay opportunities and a more mysterious, passive way of roleplaying magic. It is solely a passive magic, that has no real effects on anyone aside from the user itself. Being able to use Retrocognition, comes with many disadvantages for the user. This magic bends the relation between a memory/experience of an Animal, Plant or Person, and the time in which the memory/experience took place. This allows the user to cognitively gather information from the past, which was beforehand impossible to get hold of for the reader. The time in which the user is allowed to go back in time to gather information, depends on the users ability to meditate, and focus, which in turn makes the risk of failing so much more probable. Side-effects to this magic, consists of a high probability of blindness, confusion and physical weakness. It is due to these effects that people tend to give up on learning the technical difficulties of the magic. Aside from the above stated side-effects, there are still things that Retrocognition can do, which would be unlikely to comprehend otherwise. Stuff like Returning lost memories to a person, or looking back at events that happened many generations ago. Would be possible with the likes of Retrocognition, however drawing information to such an extend could break the users grip of what is present and what is past. If such would happend, Retrocognition is an unforgivable magic. It will throw its user into a constant illusion of what is past and present, while the users body is rendered unconscious. This will continue, untill the person dies from the inevitable lack of food and liquid. Yet there are still multiple ways of getting a person out of such a situation, one of which could be to get a cleric or illusionist to venture into the mind of the reader, and guiding them out of the confusion. As stated previously, Retrocognition, is not supposed to be considered a form of combat magic, or a loophole for Metagaming. It is for the mere enjoyment of people who want to spend time and patience roleplaying with the nostalgia that some players have of previous events, and bringing those memories back in the light. Redlines: Reader cannot read experiences or memories as they are happening. Reader cannot Metagame any form of Cognitive information from a player without direct consent from that player. Reader may be unable to notice present surroundings, while performing a reading. Reader may need specific concentration, such as trances or meditation. Reader may unwilling perceive collective knowledgeable attachments. Reader may gain instability from attained knowledge. Reader may become infected with information. Reader is unable to tap into history of other universes, and is unable to perceive contents from parallel dimensions. (Such as the nether) Reader may be required to have physical contact, with something that has relation with the memory/experience being read.

Then just -kinesis instead of -mancy..

    3. EdgyMagey

      EdgyMagey

      No. Evocation.

    4. Gone

      Gone

Kinesis generally refers to movement. such as telekinesis which basically means moving things from a distance aka moving something without touching it.

Which is not what an evocationist does. An evocationist summons the element or energy from the void, they can't use stuff that is already in this realm. The word evocation means to summon or call forth hence why we use it.

  13. How to remove the "Group circle jerk" magic. --- 1. Remove teacher applications. 2. Make everyone with a normal Magic Application able to teach. 3. Add a new application for people who is being taught a magic from another guy with an approved Magic Application, with that teachers approval. How to remove the "42 different sort of magics" problem. --- 1. 2. Stop redefining the essence of the base magic lore. How to make magic more fun for everyone. --- 1. Stop comparing physics with magic. 2. Make it so that you are allowed to be creative with magic. 3. Make combat magic virtually impossible to come out ontop in a battle with, unless you're in a group.
  14. "Running from roleplay using MC mechanics is not allowed unless PVP combat has been chosen as a form of combat to be used, and it is done following a proper countdown. If a player runs from roleplay, the other side may PvP him and is under no obligation to revive him. The person running may also face punishment. Note that yelling "Halt" is not valid rp to initiate PvP. If they don't stop to respond, you cannot give chase with PvP." If someone roleplays that they are running away from a fight, is that running away from the roleplay of fighting, or roleplaying running away from a fight?
  15. I tried the whole Render thing out.. It's pretty good if you want long distance pictures! Lord of the Craft Docks. Some of my personal builds.
  16. I better get the Cooking hat on, and order that Pizza!
  17. I am from Scandinavia.. So I get 500$ a month for studying. Yes, I have the abilty to cook myself. Also, do you forget that in The Martian he has Ketchup? What would be the first hand impression then?
  18. Should I order food today, or make it myself? RP or PvP? Tomato or Potato? Also, what is your view of me?
  19. FFFUUUUUUUUUU I have been goofed... .-.
  20. I propose a plugin being made, in order to seclude GM's from the actual lockpicking itself. Perhaps you could make a plugin, which made you able to create lockpicks, and with those lockpicks you could go up to a door or a chest and right click it. Then it rolls a d20 for you, and based on how much you nerf it, you either open the door or it fails. Now the difficult part comes when you want to make sure that the door or chest can't be broken with the use of say.. 20 lockpicks. So what I propose is that you somehow create a cooldown on the door itself, kinda like the way that Raids work. So that it is a cooldown for /Anyone/, so that the door or chest can't be attempted lockpicked within a certain amount of time, by anyone. Another, much easier solution, would be to make it so that you could only lockpick Wooden doors and Chests. This is a massive nerf, since all people would quickly move to Iron doors instead, however those who can't afford Iron Doors (the poor), will be the people who gets lockpicked. This way, it makes people wonder if it is actually worth lockpicking some poor mans chest, since they can't enter the nation vault and steal a bunch of Diamonds, as would be virtually impossible in real life aswell.
  21. (B)roseus Aquila... Vaquxine, Availer... Cloud Temple... I still remember the Shuuhei company and the Aldealson family.. But I must say that the absolute favorite experience for me on LotC, was the Aegis raid on one of the Theives Guilds hideouts, it might be small, but it it was my first real experience on the server. Personally I to thank; WaZeBoomBox, Jens6851, Huwbert98, Grayslayer, Aviala & Rattalyn, with many more included. They were what made Aegis the best experience on the server, I have ever had. --- Gotta drop this, like I usually do every year.
  22. I **** you not, this actually brought a tear to my eye. I can relate to all the things you said.. You will be missed.
  23. Good meme, not offensive towards anyone, fantastic artistic skillz and you probably own a cup holder. 8/8
